I can find an android app to edit videos, but I know the Droid X can do it. I want to resize a video to mms it.
if I go through the gallery to watch the vid you can click menu edit advance edit and your able to resize from there.

I could be cool to have a soft that edit and trim videos like the IPhone do.
Here, a video that shows how we can trim video on the iPhone

Does someone know an application in this style?
Does someone have an APK of a properly working 3d gallery? The one in the desire forums works great, but when you hit the camera button only the lowest resolution works, and its a little choppy, when your in the main picture area.

Thanks. I've been fooling around with it and I have a question. Is it possible to setup a widget on the home screen that looks like a picture frame (you can choose which picture from your gallery) that when you tap the widget it launches you into the 3D gallery?

Yea, but does that version also synch with Picasa?
This APK does exactly the same as the Nexus one with a working camera button. unfortunately, the res is lowest as stated. I tried the market 3D and Flikie HD setup and it also has the low res camera settings, but takes up LOTS of space.
So until an update comes along for 3D gallery that supports full EVO camera resolution selections, this is the way to go.
Can be installed directly from a file manager app.

At the end of the movie when the main character looks up in the air the sees the attached picture spinning slowly. It’s very similar to the galaxy live wallpaper already out there but this gold and cloudy. Please help

Ok if u guys want to create some urselves this is how i did it.
Get one of these utube videos, these r gud Link
Then download it using an online converter, i download at hd quality as mp4
Now i used vidcrop to crop the length of the video as well as the resolution.
Then once i exported the video from vidcrop, i used avcutty to dump them as bmp.
Then i used faststone photo resizer to convert them to png's at the same time controlling the quality of the images so they dont end up being 10mb each

Download the file, extract it. move the extracted file to sd card.
from phone: using root explorer, locate extracted file, move it to system/app, you will get a warning message saying camera.apk already exists are you sure you want to overwrite it?
click ok
long press on camera.apk and change permissions accordingly.
USER: check "read" "write"
GROUP: check "read"
OTHERS: check "read"
reboot phone
I can't play the file on Windows 7. I have tried with many third party .3gp apps. But it didn't success. So which software do I have to play on PC.
And what about photo improvement as you did great job with the 2.1 one??? When could we be able to adjust exposure, X10 has quite big problem to take good photos without exposure adjusting during photo shooting...

Cheers mate. I forgot that VLC player.
When I compared to watch .3gp and .mp4, .mp4 video quality is better than .3gp

MMS settings
Hi ... as for 2.1 camera excellente job .... I can cleary see the improvement
As usual to change the audio may be dangerous for shyncronisation
One think I observed and I would like to suggest is concerning the MMS settings
Currently the format is 3gp but with size 640 by 480 ......
Trying differente sizes ... produce reboot when playing the video
Because of these settings the video length pemitted within the 300k standard is just 7-8 sec istead of the almost 30 sec permited with 320 by 240 or by using QIF smaller sizes......
What I wonder is if it would be possible to set the MMS video on 3gp but with smaller size or if it is available a tool (like the one used in the last 2.1) able to resize the mms video
Thanks
Is this the same Camera app that Wolfbreak has included as an update to his CM 6.1.3 v4.4?
If so then can you optimize the 720p quality please, since I get audio delays and the recorded videos also have lags in them. The 720p can be enabled by just clicking 'Custom' in the quality settings and although you see green lines and distorted images on screen, the camera app actually records in 720p
If you can fix the audio and video issues, this will be the final answer to _ALL_ of our camcorder woes
Camera uninstalled by mistake..
Any ideas on how to install the new or get the old one back on CM 6.1.3 v4.4. Should have just replaced the camera.apk but instead I uninstalled.
Update: Used flashtool to install camera.apk from Rendeiro. Thanks to him.
Install the codec from here...

You dont need any 3rd party softwares.... Say thanks, if helped....

I'm going to be doing some international travel into locations with very limited bandwidth. I'd like to be able to regularly upload videos to youtube and some photos but still take photos/videos. My problem is that I really need to downsample the video and reduce the photo sizes to upload them where I will be at. Are there any good apps that make it easy to simply downsample a video for youtube upload and (probably another app) to reduce pixel size of photos in bulk ahead of time or during upload?
I don't really ever think about this here since I have about 5Mb upload at home I can just upload to my hearts content. Once that drops to about 128k though that really changes things. I know how to easily do it all on my laptop but really want to just travel with my tablet if possible.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
FYI in case anyone else is ever looking for these kinds of solutions.
Images can be done with Image Shrink. Install app the go to gallery, and select image(s) and share to image shrink. The app will shrink as configured and then share to another image app.

Video is best done with Video Converter Android. Install app then codec as indicated in app. Videos can be selected in app and then batch converted and downsized as configured.

Both apps have lite versions but I bought both to support devs and get rid of ads.
