Haven't seen this mentioned here but having bought it wanted to recommend it.
It lets you capture what you see on your phone either to pictures or mpeg 4 video and I must admit to being impressed with it.
It needs root access but is the best screen capture video tool I have found and might be useful for people wanting to make app reviews or video tutorials as you can also record audio.
It managed a tough challenge of recording in high definition the sunset live wallpaper which has a lot of animation in it, and did so very well so hopefully this will help people who might be after a video capture tool

Just wondering is there any way to record a video in B&W on the N5?
I routinely use PicSayPro if I need to convert a Photo to B&W, but it would be great to be able to record video in B&W. I seem to remember the camera app used to do this years back on an older phone, or maybe I'm wrong.
I had looked for an app to help, but could not see anything useful. Any ideas? Even an app converter that can strip an MP4 of its colour would work either.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks all.
Now that Google has released Cardboard, I would love a feature to render regular videos the same way 3D Half SBS is rendered.
Obviously it won't create any 3D effect but it would still give the big screen cinema effect when using Cardboard or Durovis Dive for example.
There is already an app called "Side-By-Side Video Player" but it can't play any of my x264 MKVs, so if MX started supporting this, that'd be great!
Same here, I 3d-printed a Durovis Dive and with Changed Aspect Ratio its cool to watch side by side movies.
If there was an option to double a normal 2D video, would enable me to watch normal movies for instance on a plane like being in a movie theatre.
And by the way, the format after the conversion (double) would be side by side, not half-sbs.
Thanks in advance,
seas

That's not really related, he wants conversion for different types of 3D standards, Side-by-side vs Over-under.
Over-under videos look like this: http://www.tweaking4all.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/3d_top_and_bottom_example.jpg
VR glasses like Cardboard and Durovis Dive require the video to be Side-by-side.
What seas1 and I are requesting is simply an option to render the same frame twice, Side-by-side.
Ah, well, this seems on appearance to be a simple implementation, the "hard" part would be to crop it for left vs right eye. Let's see what the dev's got to say about this.
Hi everyone, please post/repost your question/request/comment on the new Sticky thread on this topic. This way, it's more organized and we can more easily get visibility and discussion on this topic.

I currently use my G6+ to do all my video recording work for my YouTube channel. I fell in love with the snap movie mode in the video camera options because it let me record snippets throughout the day and save them all into a short video file so later I can edit on my computer. I have searched and searched and cannot find an app in the play store that can do this. Almost all video apps can record and pause but the moment you close the app or go to home screen or screen off, the current video is automatically saved as a video file and next time you use the app it starts a new video. I don't want 70 different video clips to edit each day, I want an app that can start and stop at the press of a button and keep those recordings in the same video timeline until I am finished to where I can then save as a final video. I really would like to upgrade to the G7 or V35 but from what I understand the snap movie feature was removed.
My reason for using LG phones is the wide angle camera and Snap Movie.
Is it possible to get this feature back with a newer device? Anyone know of an app that can do what I am asking?
Thanks again for the help!
One of the features and usefulness of a Smartphone is to record a video. This may be a video of yourself or an event and most
times there might be some part of that video you won’t want others to see which is why you need to edit your videos. Instead of always sending your videos to your PC to edit you can do just that on your Android phones. For certain everybody wants to put out their best videos online and if you need to do this you will need the right video editing app. Today we will be listing the top 7 video editing apps you can use on your Android devices.
PowerDirector
When it comes to one of the best video editing apps PowerDirector tops the list. This app allows you to perform varieties of tricks on your video such as video effect with a drag and drop control, slow motion, reverse video and lots more you can do using this app. You can use this app to crop your videos, make HD videos and also create an awesome voiceover for your videos. This app also comes with a chrome bay feature which allows you to edit the background of your videos.

This editor comes with a video camera feature which allows its users to take quality pictures using its nine special lenses and can turn photos into a movie using the slideshow video maker. Vizmato
With the Vizmato app, you can create nice looking videos. It has a slideshow maker which lets you convert your photos into videos. The video editor of the app allows users trim, add text, effects, filter etc. their videos with over 40 visual effects to choose from. I was using Filmora free version on to create some videos and realised that it is a fast and effective way to editing but do not have the customization options I'm looking for. Seems like PowerDirector may be the thing I was looking for, thanks for sharing.
Which one is easy to use?
