i need help. i know busybox app is just an installer.
but i cant find the busybox anywhere on my phone.
can anybody help me?
another question is the metaphor.
do i have to install themes onto my Sd card before i can do anything with them on metaphor?
or does the app provide me with themes.
because i cant find anything on it.

You must have an updated busybox, if you find one from google or xda it won't work.
I downloaded files from busybox.net but I don't know what to do with thes files, in the README file, they say to do make install, but adb shell doesn-t know "make"
I'am a telecom tester guy not a debug or dev man. If someboby can give me a tutorial it would be fine.
I don't see what's so special about Android 2.2 that you need a busybox specificially tailored to it. Any busybox.apk will do. A quick Google search found several instances of it.
As to what you've downloaded from busybox.net: These are the sources. You need a cross-compiler chain setup to do anything useful with it. I wouldn't recommend starting with cross-compiling if you don't know anything about compilers and sources.
My LG is looping try everything. I need to access my sdcard to retrieve framework-res-apk and the only thing i am able to mount is the system file in linux. Any ideas could be helpful.

It's in my system/app folder but I can't find anything installed with the same name in my app drawer. I've read from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2165554 that this could possibly be a malware common in Chinese spreadtrum phones (which is what I have). I don't have any form of recovery installed on my phone so I don't want to delete it just yet and I have never experienced any weird activity on my phone either. But I need peace of mind regarding this apk so please anyone can help me. Thank you.

Okay so my best friend is a quadriplegic..He gave me a Digix Tablet model Tab-730,android 4.0.4,base band V1.10_20120929,kernal ver,3.0.8+,4 gb external card and 2 gb internal, to root so I could help him get the most out of his device with accessibility and such..Anyways I successfully rooted it with Bin5ary,and now I have a huge issue I cant fix....
Every time I reboot,it factory resets itself..Every time still showing superSU as an active app..
Then I cant install more than 1 app without it saying its full and to manage my apps..
I read online its a problem with busybox and to copy /system/sbin/busybox to system/bin and reboot..First of ll theres no /system/sbin/busybox to begin with because I cant get busybox in the system...I can make changes with a good file manager downloaded apk from my email,but cant install busybox after..I can install busybox first but then my stock file manager isnt letting me access root!
Please help my buddy and I out! Endless thanks to anyone who can!
