Try uninstalling the green lwp manually, then install the The blue one. If that doesn't work I world try coping the .apk to system/app using adb. I'm no expert but it's what I'll do in that situation

What is going on?

So im having this issue everytime. I flash Myn's RSL5 and everything is smooth. Then when I flash the mattedblues theme for sense 3.70 my market and gmail disappear after an hour and they never come back. I flash a google apps zip and they crash and force close. Can it be the theme?

First of all, this will most likely be moved to Q&A, just so you know
Secondly, did you do a clean install of RLS 5? And check that the theme was compatible?
Yup. I found it to be the theme. Funny thing is it is compatible but market and gmail wont work.

[Q] Blue Themed Transparent Android Market

I just got the new dark cocoa Rom from 1975jamie...great Rom!!!! But the Android Market that comes with it keeps updating back to the original look. I want the blue transparent look to stay the same as when I first flashed the Rom. It's awesome. ....how do I do keep it from changing back? Or is there another custom Android Market app I can flash? If so, plz tell me where. Thanks my Android brethren and sisters. Jmtperry

I had the exact same question, especially after finding so many AWESOME market themes in the link below. can a themed market be installed like any apk? must it be flashed in a special way? how do you remove the green market? or does a new market flash over it? can you take the market found in one theme zip for one phone or rom and use it freely on another? help would be appreciated

I found market theme on the xda site. Called blue/green Android market. I flashed the zip file and it worked!!!

what about just a transparent market, no color, ie blue, green, or red, just the regular market but transparent?

A default theme is what it would look like after a fresh install

the default theme, if i'm not wrong, is the android stock theme. which is the one, in my opinion, every rom should include as default, or at least, as an option (cm 6.1.3 from wolfbreak is awesome, but i don't like the theme)
i think you can get it reflashing the rom

Why don't you just extract the framework from beta 4 and use it on wolfs cm6.1.3
Or install beta 4 and add Cm settings, then add apps etc from wolfs rom?
Just a thought

Thanks for the reply guys. Maybe I should have been more specific. I'm currently using Z's freeX10 beta 4 and the thing is I don't want to reflash every thing or else I'd need to customize everything back to the way it is. Too time consuming haha. Basically I want it because when I installed another theme before, some aspects of the theme remained on my phone even though I installed another theme. I'm not sure how to get rid of them, so I was hoping the default theme would get rid of them. I'll attach pictures to this post in a few minutes to show you what I mean. And yeah, I did try to extract the framework from the beta 4 but i failed miserably, It didn't let me install it through recovery
EDIT: attached pictures from phone. basically I really hate that youtube icon and I wanna get rid of it and revert it back to the normal one.
You wont be able to install framework through xrecovery, you would have to swap it using root explorer and change permissions, reboot then it should be fine
But make sure you copy the framework that was on before just in case anything happens, and/or backup using xrecovery for safety

[Q] Help please with .apk

I'm having trouble finding out how to install a theme to my newly rooted and 2.3 ROM'd phone, I don't understand what 7zip is, and/or where to place the .apk file in order to install it.
Help me out??
The easiest way to install themes will be by using some launchers like adw launcher.. Both the launcher and the themes are available in the market..

Cool, how about live wallpapers?

the same question .....
ya.. its the same.. u can get live wallpaper from the android market..
No, that's not what I mean, sorry my bad. I didn't properly explain. If I download a (.apk) that is NOT on market, but here on XDA, how do I put it on my phone as a live wallpaper?
Sent from my A853 using XDA App
I figured it out, I just needed to put the .apk file on my SD card and open it with ES File Explorer or any other file management app would have done, I'm sure... then make sure I was able to install apps from unknown sources and it worked. Now Running 2.3 iceandfire with droid2 theme, rooted and overclocked!! It's stupid how much faster it got.
wow.. cool

Live wallpaper on Tweaked 2.1?

I can't seem to find the live wallpaper option on Tweaked 2.1. Can anyone help?

Install LiveWallpaperPicker from Tweaktools.
Can u give me a link? I have tweaktools as a bookmark on my computer but I'm on my phone atm.

From your phone, run terminal emulator, then run su, then tweaktools. From there, look through the applications option.

Or rip the apk from another ROM zip (like stock or Eclipse) from /system/app and place it into your /system/app.
