Hey XDA,
I have a Sense ROM installed, but I would like to change out the notifications for email, messaging, etc - to the Vanilla icons, such as the smiling message bubble.
Is there any easy way to do this? Where would I push the files?

Hey guys, I am pretty new to all of this, currently running Damages 2.07 ROM. Love it a lot. But I was wondering if there is anyway to get the Messaging icon changed. I love the Messaging icon on the Droid, its the little green android, but it is a "comment" bubble. Kind of looks like the Chomp SMS icon, but not exactly. Anyway, I was wondering if there was anyway to get that App icon, instead of the normal messaging icon that comes with 2.1

look for unread sms widget
choose "eclair" for icon.

Would some please either and/or
A) Make an update zip for colored notification icons, which should include colored notification icons for most common apps like Gmail, SMS, Google Voice, etc etc.
B) A Link where I can save all the icon .PNG images and use Ninjamorph to sort of manually do it myself.
A is more preferred since most of us are lazy lol.

As in the title .. I would like to change the default red circle type of Unread Email, Unread SMS and Missed Calls notification icons .. As I was unable to find any related png's in the .apk I'm wondering whether such a mod is possible ? if so How ?
Hey guys. I'm using MIUI right now, latest build 110280, but I have had this same issue with any non sense rom (i.e. cm7).
Basically, I cannot get a notification badge counter (the little bubble that is on the top right corner of the SMS/Gmail/Phone icon that shows how many missed messages/calls you have) to work with the MAIL icon. With a Sense rom, it works no problem, but it doesn't seem to work on MIUI or non sense roms.
I've tried looking for some apps that would do this, but it seems like they only work for the GMAIL app and not normal mail app.
Any idea on how I can get around this? It's annoying to just have the mail icon in the top notification bar, I'd like to have a counter on the actual mail icon on my homescreen!

I would like change color badge icons in Sense 4.1. Default is white. I need red or green. Is it possible?
Explain what you mean by "colour badge icons" ? you mean notification/status bar icons?

Can't be done until new m10 tools are released, only the notification bubble in the app drawer can be themed.
