updated. thanks for the tip!
I don't understand...why does everyone feel the need for useless posts saying, "yep, I got it". Are you trying to run your post count up or something? Looking at the 9 replies, I would have thought someone may have posted a changelog or something, but just a bunch of "got it" replies.
Changelog? It's a PRL.
Preferred Roaming List.
Sprint updated which towers your phone can and cannot connect to. There will be no changelog because it's direct from Sprint and is a carrier-wide update.

You people realize that this was in reference to the changelog, NOT the PRL...
And to answer this question, I don't believe there is a "Changelog" for a PRL...
PRL, to my understanding at least, is basically a "how to" for the phone to connect to the networks, It has tables and what not that tell it how to connect, what bands to use, and in what order to try them... it's released BY the carriers... It's not like a ROM or firmware update that they need to release any type of changelog... they just push it out when it's ready.
Have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preferred_Roaming_List

The new beta that they released is supposedly 60% smaller than the last release and 25% faster than the stock browser. Check out the article about it: http://phandroid.com/2010/11/04/firefox-4-beta-updated-speed-boosts-push-it-ahead-of-stock-browser/

Ah, that sucks. The thing that keeps me from trying Firefox Mobile (besides it taking up around 17 MB), is that the UI hasn't been optimized for MDPI yet.

I look forward to seeing this incorporated into new roms
the bug isnt in the radio itself its the way that the system handles the gps cache files as for dk17 i have a 10m lock now, much improved over di18's 30m
I must be lucky or live in a good area. I get 3m now and with the stock 2.1 ROM/kernel/modem.
So how do I fix my gps problem

It is the radio. Di18 had this accuracy hardcoded into it, so even if you had better, it still would show 30 meters. This did not affect the performance. On the other hand, at least for me, something in the old radio did cause crappy performance in the form of constant signl dropouts and crapy snrs.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
correct the gps conf files tell the gps at what point to stop trying to search for a better signal and that is because they dont want your battery to be sucked dry by gps constantly looking for a 6m lock when it cant get it.

Anytime try this yet? Any suggestions for mtdpartmap settings? I couldn't get this working on mine, but not sure what the issue was. The keyboard doesn't seem to work. It stays open even after I close a app. Strange.
Hmm, no one else has reported that issue... have you tried installing from a clean wipe yet or did you just install over the top? Also, did you wipe your cache or your dalvik before installing the update?
Bump for 25 Feb Release.

For Cellular South...not really. The best you can do is do a nandroid right after rooting and if you ever need to bring it in for insurance, revert to the stock nandroid and then delete the superuser app. From there it depends on how thoroughly they check out the phone.
So you cannot return to backup then unroot? I know on the captivate you can.

You could if you had Alltel or USCC because there are RUU's available to reset the phone to stock if you need to. However, there aren't any for Cellsouth. Therefore, the restored settings would be obviously branded for Alltel or USCC.

I've heard a few success stories where they don't really poke around too much in the phone and people have been able to return it.
Bump for 11 Mar Release.
Question, I haven't used this in quite some time cuz I just couldn't get used to the iPhone look alike thing but I loved some features ... so question is, there was a feature in the "in call" menu to record the conversation, could this be extracted and used on cyanogen? Its something I actually need to use for work so would he handy but would prefer to stay on cm if possible. Thanks for any thoughts.

To get cwm 3.1..0 recovery working and su, you need to flash this tar.
Put the tar in pda:

Flash su.zip through clockwork:

***do not use kernel debug tar** (if even posted in the video)

Ive had 01115 for as long as Ive had the device. Through seven 'NEXI', prl and profile updates always fail. Anyway, I was in a store and I notice the Nexus has 61081 as well as a couple other (newer)devcices.
Does anyone have the prl 61081 to upload? It would be appreciated. Thank you!
I can give you 60681 if there's a way to pull if off that doesn't require windoze (so no QPST).
