Myself and some others on IRC were thinking modem.bin or parts of it atleast are being stored elsewhere than just on one bml. Hopefully this wil help see these issues through. Going to test...

the bug isnt in the radio itself its the way that the system handles the gps cache files as for dk17 i have a 10m lock now, much improved over di18's 30m
I must be lucky or live in a good area. I get 3m now and with the stock 2.1 ROM/kernel/modem.
So how do I fix my gps problem

It is the radio. Di18 had this accuracy hardcoded into it, so even if you had better, it still would show 30 meters. This did not affect the performance. On the other hand, at least for me, something in the old radio did cause crappy performance in the form of constant signl dropouts and crapy snrs.

correct the gps conf files tell the gps at what point to stop trying to search for a better signal and that is because they dont want your battery to be sucked dry by gps constantly looking for a 6m lock when it cant get it.

First of all thanks to samfirmware and noobnl for his post in the general section. I just made a odin file from the files he posted added busybox 1.18.4 and deodexed it. Odin this to get a deodexed stock EF02 with the purple CWM 3.1.0.1, root and Busybox 1.18.4. If you can put up mirrors that would be great.

No problem. I am trying to get more into this so that I can help out more. I have learned a lot in a few hours of work time. I figure if I can take on more of the stock type of things and smaller stuff the devs will have more time to do the real work. And the more I learn the more I can help.

When i lived in NC i had road runner a 2Mb connection that i could download @ 1Mb
It would only take like 3-5 mins to download a fraction of what it is now

Please do. I have been using it since I uploaded it without problems but people use it in different ways so let us know how it goes.
Will this rom update to EF10? I enjoyed my set up from the original leak.. I just have a problem with the dialer menu barring out the contact tab. It works fine when pressed. It's just annoying that i know it's there.
Will this work with netflix? I use netflix every night?

This is stock based off the original tar so it should update just fine. It should also work with netflix. But I was never able to get my modem updated even on the original version. And I don't use netflix so I can't say for sure that it works.

Get this though i can upload to about around 80-90kb, but most of the time i download around 100-250 kb's

As it stands right now, if you are currently rooted then do not flash this ruu.
Wait until the devs gave time to build and test.

It does not have the timebomb.
That's the only difference between this and 2.11.605.0.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mean the other way around. Think about it... If you take the camera libs from 605.2 put them in a 605.0 ROM you have added all the changes from the new version without creating another virtually identical ROM.

None that I see so far. Scrolling has gotten a lot snappier. Lag while loading images on stock gallery seems improved as well.

Seems like Samsung's FUS servers often report a build number that is one too high.

Well KL2 doesn't. I'm not sure if that's what you meant Entropy. Supercurio's CIQ detector app didn't detect it in the KL2 leak. I guess we'll have to wait to see what the next leak will bring though.
They seem to be experimenting with things though. I'm intrigued to say the least. KL2 brings with it a launcher with no scrolling wallpaper and the colored square backgrounds removed from app drawer icons.
Supercurio's CIQ detector app detected it as there but inactive on mine, then after a reboot and recheck not there at all.. very happy with dmans rooted version of this rom.

I am running SKY ICE form day one and never had problem plus I m heavy Heavy user and i get through a day with full charge so Really great deeply themed rom.

get a rogers rom base, i am glad to be a customer with rogers because ATT lock you guys up with no nfc, locked radio and no tethering...rogers gives us tethering for any data plan, and they NEVER throttle us

Yes there are couple of rogers based rom in development forum. for ex TPC V3 is good. Just go search around in Dev Forum and you will find rogers based roms.

What's the point of flashing a different radio?
Some give a better signal than others, depending on your location. Call quality is also affected by the Radio you have. If you don't have any issues, you likely don't need to flash a new one unless it's just to test it out to see if it's better for you.

I'm using King Kangers One, even though it's not being developed anymore. I tried to compile a new version myself, but it failed cryptically and I've not had the time to really sit down and tinker with it. Works well enough for me, and that's what matters in my book.
