Has anybody managed do modify the TV/Video out display layout on the Touch Pro?
I've changed the name of the 4 icons that are displayed, and changed the programs that they open, but I wonder if anyone has managed to modify this further.
Ideally I'd like to be able to change the number of icons/links displayed, the picture of the icon, and the relevant programs they start up.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Anybody? Bump.

My company use a product called onebridge to allow me to access my Lotus Notes email. It has an icon in the top bar (used to show status of the connection to onebridge) which is midly annoying but I can't seem to get rid of it.
More annoying than that is that it when it is there, it changes the 'action' softkey to be 'notification' about onebridge.
Does anyone know a simple way that I can try and stop this happening as I'd love to get back to the action option?????
Guess I'm looking for a registry tweak or something.
Help !
think people think that the registry have more power then it have
reg changes only do anything if the programmers desided to put
a key there to let the user change it
a programmer can deside not to check any registrys in wm at all
and it's often put on the NTH (nice to have)sheet not a big priority
Just in case anyone has the same issue, once onebridge is loaded on, you deleted the shortcut in the windows/startup folder - sorry forgot what it was called now but had ob & push in it if i remember right
Hi, I'm also using OneBridge on Kaiser - could you help me with the issues described in this thread?

Hi
I just saw that there's a way to hide separator lines on today screen.
This is a good thing.
But, I would like to know if there's a way to add some invisible separators on the Today screen ?
I have 3 "blocks" : HTC Home, PDA Status and Wireless info.
They are too close one from each other.
So I woud like to put space between them.
Is it possible ?
Thank you very much
hi,
have a look here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475040
nothin provides information about that.
lezioul.
Thank you
Thanks to that, I won't have to edit the registry myself
Another little question.
I would like to know how is it possible to modify the Today plugin which displays Phone/WiFi/Bluetooth info (basically indicates if it's on or off) ?
I would like to display them in a single line (on this time they are displayed in two lines ; one for Operator, the other for WiFi and Bluetooth).
Is it possible to modify it, or is there a plugin which allows that ?
Thank you
well, i don't know if it's possible to change the basic layout.
maybe you can try a global search upon the forum and find more information about the registry keys used by wireless today plugin.

Hi everyone,
does anybody know how to properly remove the text from the quicklinks?
What I figured out so far is that in Registry "HKLM\Software\HTC\Manilla\Home\x" you can simply delete the "DispName" entry or delete its content.
The text and its dark "background" disappeares, but the result is strange though:
a) The quicklink still works, but is somehow not integrated correctly. It's like the transparent "Add Quicklink"-Pictures is put onto it as a second layer. A "transparent quicklinks"-cab could probably solve this though
b) The quicklink can not be removed anymore =) Which is the major problem.
So yes, (b) would prevent anybody from randomly removing your quicklinks when playing around with your phone, but a proper solution would be fine though. Any ideas?

CHT Editor has a setting for this.
Hello All,
I have an unlock HTC HD7 and I'm looking for a way to change the message when I shutdown the phone. Currently it shows "Goodbye!". I figure it's pulling from a resource file somewhere, but I haven't found it.
Or is there a way to not even show the panel on shutdown that has the text?
Or..does anyone know of a way to set the theme to change the font color for the shutdown message? I could maybe change that to black so that I don't see the text.
Or.....how about showing my own image on shutdown, something similar to the splash image on start up.
Thanks for any pointers.
just searched the string in registry editor with no luck, perhaps it's a embeded resource.
Hello,
I think that it is in the foundation of WP7. difficult to change. but not impossible. need to search in all register.
