TalkAndroid.com features XDA as one of the most important sites for Android users

Hey guys,
Thought you all might want to help us share the love of XDA over at TalkAndroid.com. We've got a write up from our very own Andrew Greenfield, and he's touting XDA as the single go-to place for almost any android user! Be sure to check it out, and if you're a proud XDA member, sound off in our comments! We <3 XDA!

Just a thank you!

I am new to the XDA group obviously by this being my first post! But I have had my G2x for going on 2 years, and just recently decided to root and load a custom ROM on it. I love it! It's like having a new phone! I am a noob in some since, but pretty a nerd as well. I just wanted to thank all the developers and such that provide all this vast information, knowledge and code to give us awesome instructions, roms, etc! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication! I wish I was as knowledgeable in coding to contribute!
should have some sort of "date a dev" thread, jeez you want a dollar for all that ridin'
nah jp, nice to have u participating in the discussion of the phone that packs so much love and hate into the shiniest turd you've ever bought from LG, thusfar.
Haha good burn...I set myself up for that!

Thank you!!

I've been visiting this forum for a while now but only just registered and I've seen how close and generous everyone is with sharing knowledge. Just wanna say a MASSIVE thanks to all the admins and members who go out of their way to bring is these awesome features to our phone and tablets. I gave up my iPhone and iPad after reading these forums cause I saw how passionate everyone is about Android, and me being a tech/IT guy needed something to be excited about! You guys rock, well done everyone!

Why members in xda ignore hard questions

I find no help to the ones who are really want it and everyone answers to simple questions like which should be my next phone?

That's because the questions of recommending phones or kernels or even ROMs are not allowed in xda. Sorry Mate!
Better luck next time!

What Arnau said plus many times people don't want to look stupid on forums with as much brainpower and expertise as on the XDA forum. Some of the most brilliant people hang out here and obviously if you don't know what you're talking about, to try and bluff your way through may work on some forums, but not here.
As you visit more often, look for some of the gurus, follow their threads, Thank Them and if they help you, contribute. That might really help you get the answers you need. Good luck.
XDA is not a support site, it is a site for and about developers and development, soooo, I suggest, if you are in fact looking for support, use search here, or go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, development still occurs here at XDA.
