Has anyone thought about or started to work on a red theme for CM6?
I wish I had the knowledge or at least the time to learn to build my own themes, but unfortunately I don't at the moment. I am sorry to post asking for a theme as I know everyone works as volunteers, but I just wanted an idea as to weather someone was working on one or not.

Here's a red themed CM6 ROM you can try if you are interested. This is just something I threw together for a family member. No guarantees, and not sure if I will make any updates.

I will try it out tonight when I get to work. Without seeing it I can say I want something like Andro Green with all of the green rendered red.
I wish I knew how to edit the themes.

I am currently working on a Series of color themes based off of blackmod. Which include a red theme. It appears other folks are at it as well. You should have plenty of themes to choose from soon

Using the blackmod. Adding a dash of color to it. Red, Green, Blue, yellow, Pink, Purple, Brown. Just tasteful accents to the already great orginal blackmod. Nothing overwhelming. Red already completed. Just got to get post count up to be able to post them in themes forums

+1 ... I was slowly trying to start learning theming simply for the purpose of doing a theme just like that haha. The purple intrigues me as well. Let me know if you need any testers .
I will hopefully have them up in the next day or two in the themes forum. Working on finishing pink, purple, and yellow atm.

Heres a little something I whipped up quickly as I'm learning how to theme through Metamorph. Basically this morph will turn your standard battery icon into a block style car battery one, and give you a new low battery message image.
As this is my very first attempt at any sort of theming, BE SURE TO DO A NANDROID BACKUP. I dont want to screw up your phone, and cant be held responsible for any damage done. If you apply this, you take a risk that it could break things.
That being said I have this running currently on CM 6 with a Nexus with no issues. Let me know how it goes for you guys.

But, i think it woould look cooler if you kept the square idea, but didnt make it a battery (no prongs). That would be awesome

A pink theme would be great. I get asked every day by my girl if there is a pink one. Bilbobrian I'm sure many fellow female dinc users would be happy. I know 4 that would really appreciate it. I know certain girls like different shades of pink. Usually either a hot pink or light pink

I'm currently working on a full Sense ROM based off official Froyo Sense Release that will be pink themed. Flashed an unfinished version to my girlfriend's phone, which is the reason I'm making it, and she loves it. Should be able to post up a release here sometime next week hopefully.

oh thats right, I was just playin tho, just tossin it out there, If there is enough people on deodexed stock2.2 ota ill make a fill pink theme..
I know the stock is yellow, and there are the default green and a red option for the Gingerbread Theme, but I would really like a royal blue one. All I'm really looking for is a change in color of the notification bar images to a royal blue (Florida Gators fan!). I would greatly appreciate someone doing this, if you could use the Gingerbread Theme with the larger white battery numbers, it'd be even better. Thanks in advance to anyone willing!

Attached are the downloads.
I have tested the Green and it installed flawless. I did not test the others as the files only had name changes and the xml was modified to match those name changes.
As always Make a backup before applying any ROM or theme. im not responsible for any errors but will help if anything goes wrong.
Download Metamorph from the market (Please try to support the developer buy purchasing the pro version if you can)
I always unzip the files to the /Sdcard/Androidthemes/.
Open metamorph and let it do its checks. Then click on the Pick existing theme. Depending on which file u have downloaded and extracted to androidthemes choose SwypeColor (Of course color would be the color you have downloaded). then click on the SwypeColor.xml The description will popup with the information. Click close then chose apply all. Let it do its magic. When it finishes reboot. When it completes its reboot go to settings>keyboard and language>Check swype and setting swype as input method. When you attempt to use the keyboard it should load.

I left the tracer as the stock cyan blue-ish color thats in it, I didnt really look into changing it.
Honestly I can do any color, would prefer to keep this theme down to like 5 versions right now. So I guess first 5 come first 5 served lol. Yes it has full support for everything the Droid X can utilize.
If you post a link to changing the tracer color Ill look into to. Cant do much at my current location due to work. Also kinda lazy atm but more along the lines of work reason not to tho =รพ
Mods: Can the stock Swype.apk be posted? I know the beta cannot but Im not sure about the stock Swype that comes with the DX.

Ok. I have 6 in total cooked up right now. Ill post them when I get home. The 6 are Blue, Green, Purple, Red, Orange, and Grey. I got tired of waiting for requests so I had my girlfriend pick out 5 more colors lol.

Well I did research and found out I can not post a full apk of the Swype app. Ive currently finished researching how to make a metamorph theme and am making a backup and then I will test it out to make sure it installs correctly.

I currently have 6 themes for 3.1. Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green, Red, Orange, and Gold. When 3.2 drops I am not sure if I want to keep all of these themes so I am doing this poll to find out what colors I should keep.
I vote for Gold! BTW after I flashed Roach's 1.6 then flash the previous Gold theme, I went into a boot loop. Had to, sadly, back out of the theme. Any chance that theme will be updated for 1.6? Or should I have done something differently? (Flashed 1.6, then Netformer 1.5, wiped Dalvik, then the theme)

I have not released any color other than DB for 1.6 so far. I was debating on if I was going to do any other colors. As you have asked for the Gold I will do that one tonight.

Chin up, Hatman. People seldom appreciate what others do for them. Am I cynical? Yeah. Over the years I've tried to find satisfaction from just doing things I enjoy...if others (or perhaps just one person) shares that enthusiasm then it's all good. As a PA, most of what I do is never noticed by patients or staff but I take pleasure in a job well done...or at least try to.

You will never be able to please everyone. If I don't like something I will not openly tell you that I think it's ugly but keep my mouth shut. It's courtesy! I would love to see the red, green, and gold themes

I wonder how long before 3.2 drops. It is alot of work redoing the frameworks...also....what do you all think of the digital battery icon? I am thinking of just including that in all the themes instead of the default one. I might add the circular one as a addon but I am not going to change the circular one to different colors. That is WAYYY to much work.

Well I did not do the circular batery addon..I took that from scar45's theme. So it is just the one color of blue.

I'm kind of on the fence on the icon. I use a circle widget on my DroidX and the dual battery widget on the TF. One thinks that with all that doing a theme entails certain concessions must be made. And given that 3.2 should not be too far in the future being a bit forward thinking and waiting to do "full-blown" work might be prudent?
That said, the circular adds a numerical indicator missing in the standard icon but its color is not "mission-critical" in my opinion given the overall appeal of the theme.
Red would be awesome as ive been missing it since 1.5, figured it might be a good idea to wait until a final 3.2 to be released before any themes are made anyway. Keep up the good work, forget the haters that criticize without any input as to how they think the theme can be changed.
