Heres a little something I whipped up quickly as I'm learning how to theme through Metamorph. Basically this morph will turn your standard battery icon into a block style car battery one, and give you a new low battery message image.
As this is my very first attempt at any sort of theming, BE SURE TO DO A NANDROID BACKUP. I dont want to screw up your phone, and cant be held responsible for any damage done. If you apply this, you take a risk that it could break things.
That being said I have this running currently on CM 6 with a Nexus with no issues. Let me know how it goes for you guys.

But, i think it woould look cooler if you kept the square idea, but didnt make it a battery (no prongs). That would be awesome

Hey everyone This theme is a complete "re-colorization" of the popular MattedBlues theme by jabbawalkee. I take ZERO credit for any and all custom graphics you find in the theme. Jabbawalkee originally created this theme. All I did was change the color from blue to purple. It's possible you'll find some graphic anomolies. If you do, please be kind and leave some feedback for me. I tried my best to make sure things were in working order before posting it here but I'm human and I'll keep working on this as time permits.
Quick FAQ:
How do I install this? Flash it via recovery.
Which recovery do I use to flash this? I only use Amon_RA Recovery, v1.8.0.1. Give that a shot if you are running into problems using Clockwork.
Will this work with CM 6.1.2 ROM? YES!
What font is that? Ubuntu. It can be found at this thread.
Have a ETA for <insert reason here>? Absolutely not. We're all busy and the last thing I need is to let anyone down.
Which lockscreen does this theme come with by default? It works with whatever lockscreen you're currently using. The Vanilla lockscreen screenshot you see is because I ripped Sense out of the ROM I was using when I was working on this, primarily to show that the theme worked with the Vanilla lockscreen too. I should've posted a screenie with the HTC lockscreen but oh well So, again, if you're using the HTC lockscreen it'll work with the HTC lockscreen. If you're using a Vanilla lockscreen it'll work with the Vanilla lockscreen.

This looks awesome; however, purple is my mother-in-law's favorite color and she wears it every day. I can't flash this and think about my mother-in-law every time I get a text message or check the time. I'll go nuts. lol

Very nice but is there anyway you can make an alternate one with the Stock HTC Lockscreen or maybe a flashable Zip? Don't know how to do the ADB stuff. I don't like the Vanilla Lock Screen very much and would appreciate your help. I have been waiting for a nice plain purple theme for awhile. Thank you for your work.

Actually, if you flash the theme as it is it will default to whatever lockscreen you're currently using I should make a note about that in the OP. I'll do that right now. Just flash away and have a nice day. You won't have to do anything else except flash it and it will not force your lockscreen to one or the other.

Can you change this notification bar?
I flashed your theme and ITS SO CUTE...lol but the notification bar is a little plain and manly. I was wondering if you can change this notification bar so that when I flash it it doesn't change the color scheme? I actually flashed this file and it change almost everything to Green....boooooo!! I love this purple and like the other ladies mentioned...pink would be nice. This bar has the little neon Andy guy in the right corner, its from the Fresh 3.3.0.1 ROM

AWESOME...can't wait but I don't think this notification Bar is from MANUP. I have it on FRESH 3.3.0.1, EVOZONE and RUJULES22. This Andy is a neon outline with a black transparent background. Anything you can do however is greatly appreciated.

ok so here are the new screen shots and what i have changed. still working on icons and which apks to include as i do not want to suffer the same fate as some of those that are being reminded that warez is not aloud. i will pick those that suit it best for everyone. when ready to upload which i hope will not be too much longer. i hope that you guys enjoy it as much as i do. trying to mod all png images for apks that i can is being a little difficult so i will upload screenshots of those when i get them ready.
also if im not able to share at least you have an idea of what im running;-)

Maybe white text color in the notofications drop down menu. Its a bit hard to see when black.

Thanks for stopping and taking the time to comment. As i said its a work in progress. second its personal preference and nothing is in stone yet. so color choice really hasn't been decided. and i know alot of people that dig blue and would be happy to have it. thanks again for stopping in to comment though. i appreciate it and will do what mods i can.

Thank you for your feedback, white is exactly what i am thinking to put in the status bar and in the drop down. however, with the cyanogen mod settings installed, this can be done through there.
yet i dont want this to be just for a cyanogen settings phone. im looking into making it an available option for all 2.2 versions.
Black and purple just don't match up on the first SS.
Secondly the status bar is rarely ugly, all people will rather prefer just a colour (Black,white,blue etc)
Third the icon with all blue is not nice.

work in progress..... nothing set in stone yet, feedback is always appreciated. blue icons look great i think. if people hadnt already went ds with their themes already i would have a chance at one. however im workin with a variety but still trying to keep simple. work in progress. new screen shots coming soon to show the changes.
Way to go mate, it's a guttsy color scheme not my thing though. Purple and blacks like green on red, hard to read. I suggest keeping it simple, gentle but sharp.. I'll be way watching

appreciate your feedback. most polite one besides second post. i have modified it a little more and have gotten rid of the colors and went mor simple as people have suggested. status bar is now blue and drop down bar is no black and blue. and drop down bacground is a lot easier to read. new screen shots coming soon.

new screen shots have been posted. hope its a little more to everyones liking as for what i have done. still modding pngs and what not. still have a little work to do on status bar icons. should have more done this weekend and ready to post on monday.
emm i think u should try lighter blue....like the color of the sea...sky or something like that if u want to go with blue...but i think is great....soon u will make a fine theme....also for the notification bar normally people would like white as a font because it is easy to read because of the background color....so if u stick with blue try make a light one...because it easy to contrast between the font and the background...anyway good luck dude....will follow ur progress...keep it up!!later u can make a theme with ur eyes close....haha....joking...

Need to say, Didn't like the theme at all, it's very simple with not good color scheme, but that score is AMAZING.
All themes should be unique, if the blue was slightly muted then it would be more appealing. But changing the density to 190 would make it aesthetically pleasing too... To be honest, the whole point of android os is the ability to create something unique, so well done

thanks for your comments. actually i did have a lighter blue at one time but didnt think that it really looked all that good, and really didnt go with the colors of the bee in wallpaper image. as im sure most users want there own wallpaper or background compared to using the one that is included with the package.
however, at the same time, there are those of us users who want everything we need and nothing we dont. meaning why add something or take something away if you really dont need to? i personally dont care for a large display of colors so keeping at least one color and having the rest black is suitable. so if all icons are black and blue. or black and green or black and yellow( yes pun intended if your heard this song). also the lesser value of bright colors means you dont have alot of bright screen when you dont need it.
my thoughts anyway

android 2.2 scores like this come from a multitude of things. the greatness of zdzihu for his 2.2b4, data2sd, xrecovery.

as for the color scheme. i notice there are alot of you out there that really dont care for it. and as i find this really hard to believe, wow! i like most themes that ive seen out there and am really impressed with all the work that was done to them. even though i dont care to use some of theme. as i didnt care for the status bar icons or in which color it was set. mainly the 2.2 white task bar. that drives me nuts!
feedback is always appreciated and am happy that you are one of the few people to stop in and read and comment shows that something might have caught your eye and you wanted to see where it goes. so that is appreciated as well.

i appreciate your view on "unique". to which if everyone wanted to really personalize their phone. they wouldnt want to try out what everyone, or anyone else has.
my first creation was black, purple and blue in some artistic paint splash decor for the statur bar and dropdown. it was nice for me other than not seeing the clock.
as changing the blue ill look into the density and take your suggestion into consideration.
for those that really dont like the clock, i like minium color as i use my device more at night and really dont care to put off a glow when using it. i like to see my device and not let everyone else see it.
especially when driving. i dont like a bright screen poopping in my face. i like something that just lights up with the perfect ambient light needed so im not too distracted.
Mods, please delete. as i have stopped working on this theme for now. this Thread is no longer needed. Thank you;-)

I would change the colour in the statusbar. Maybe a bit transparency would be nice And the pink text should be white or sth like that But all in all a good start

Forget anything you saw here I've got it all sorted out! Someone explained to me that for most of what I want done its fine to just edit the PNGs directly. Sorry if this post bothered anyone - hope it gets deleted soon!
Also when I'm done I'll post the white gingerbread theme in case anyone else liked the sound of it - I particularly want it since I realised I have a SLCD screen not an AMOLED and next to my friends AMOLEDs the blacks do look really pathetic.

WELL i can make one that is gingerbread but looks like froyo..
but before checkout the kitchen uot online , if it has those icons and status bar, it will be much less trouble

I currently have 6 themes for 3.1. Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green, Red, Orange, and Gold. When 3.2 drops I am not sure if I want to keep all of these themes so I am doing this poll to find out what colors I should keep.
I vote for Gold! BTW after I flashed Roach's 1.6 then flash the previous Gold theme, I went into a boot loop. Had to, sadly, back out of the theme. Any chance that theme will be updated for 1.6? Or should I have done something differently? (Flashed 1.6, then Netformer 1.5, wiped Dalvik, then the theme)

I have not released any color other than DB for 1.6 so far. I was debating on if I was going to do any other colors. As you have asked for the Gold I will do that one tonight.

Chin up, Hatman. People seldom appreciate what others do for them. Am I cynical? Yeah. Over the years I've tried to find satisfaction from just doing things I enjoy...if others (or perhaps just one person) shares that enthusiasm then it's all good. As a PA, most of what I do is never noticed by patients or staff but I take pleasure in a job well done...or at least try to.

You will never be able to please everyone. If I don't like something I will not openly tell you that I think it's ugly but keep my mouth shut. It's courtesy! I would love to see the red, green, and gold themes

I wonder how long before 3.2 drops. It is alot of work redoing the frameworks...also....what do you all think of the digital battery icon? I am thinking of just including that in all the themes instead of the default one. I might add the circular one as a addon but I am not going to change the circular one to different colors. That is WAYYY to much work.

Well I did not do the circular batery addon..I took that from scar45's theme. So it is just the one color of blue.

I'm kind of on the fence on the icon. I use a circle widget on my DroidX and the dual battery widget on the TF. One thinks that with all that doing a theme entails certain concessions must be made. And given that 3.2 should not be too far in the future being a bit forward thinking and waiting to do "full-blown" work might be prudent?
That said, the circular adds a numerical indicator missing in the standard icon but its color is not "mission-critical" in my opinion given the overall appeal of the theme.
Red would be awesome as ive been missing it since 1.5, figured it might be a good idea to wait until a final 3.2 to be released before any themes are made anyway. Keep up the good work, forget the haters that criticize without any input as to how they think the theme can be changed.
