Android for HTC HD2

Hi All,
I have just bought a HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5. I am really pleased with it and just making a few adjustments. I have read numerous articles about installing Android but I am confused as to what flavour of Android my needs and I would really appreciate any guide into exactly ehat to do. As I don't fance hacking blindly at the phone.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Dave.
i'm fairly certain it can't run android (yet).
I am a little confused over what you mean hacking away at the phone? the HD2 cannot run android yet unless you plan to help in the dev of the android on that platform
Thanks for the replies. Once again I am getting ahead of myself. I'll wait and see.

Question about App development

Hi... i'm just curious what do people use to develop the apps for the Windows mobile on this site, specifically for the htc hd 2... i'm not delusional i'm not trying to make some crazy app just something to experiment with, etc... where can i download the compiler, and where are some tutorials on it? Thanks.

Nexus S ROM Kitchen available?

Hey guys,
I'm getting a NS in a few days, so I started looking around for some handy tools to have. I'm not a developer, but im very keen on learning a least a little more about android, since I had a great time modding/themeing my HTC Dream. My question goes: Does a full-blown kitchen for NS exist? Or is it possible to use Galaxy S family kitchen without issues? I found an online kitchen on Modaco, but that's not what I'm looking for. I need some basic kitchen where I can start my own dev story
Thanks in advance
EDIT: Problem solved. dsixda's HTC Android Kitchen branch supports SNS, and is what I'm really looking for.

No way man . Check out sevenplusabdroid.org . Its a development group that I'm working with that are working on bring apps with the wp7 UI over . We are off to a decent start for a months work and have some talented devs . I have been a long time Android user and just picked up a wp7 device yesterday so we could iron out some details , and I have to say we are on the right track !
So , not an official solution , no . However if you like the metro UI you should find it pretty neat at least .

Porting it to Android phones is illegal, the only exception is porting WP7 to other WinMo phones only....This is the same reason why WebOS can't be ported to other phones, you will get a C&D from Microsoft or worse if you attempt to have the OS on non-Windows phones. WP7, WinMo, WebOS, and iOS are all closed-sourced, unlike android you can't have those OSes on any device.

[Q] ios or windows on android

will ios or windows will ported in android
So many discussions about this. People say no just cause they think android a better os and has more possibilities, and better customization. All in all, it would most likely be reversed.

If you want wm buy the HD2....you got winmo 6.5 and 7, android and other os
I saw that iOS was running on HD2 but im not sure.....but some groups are tryin to put iOS but they need to rewrite all folders and scripts cause its not open-source like android.

:angel:use BOCHS ...
It can be, because if Android was ported on MeeGo, than why not ios on android?
Had you guys searched you would have learned the answer to this in one of the hundreds of threads about this very subject.
IOS is too closed source as is WP. Want more info then refer to the older threads.
