Hi, everyone!
I have a phone with WM6.5. Now I want to refresh it's ROM. I flash it with RaphaelWrapper. But when the window contains progress bar appear, Microsoft ActiveSync quits. And later RaphaelWrapper tell me that there is a communcation error existed. I can do nothing besides to quit.
I doubt that something in the phone isn't compatiable with ActiveSync, is it? How to fix it? Thank you!

I tried this with firewall on/off after fresh reboot, etc. always the same problem.
Has anybody encountered this problem?
My SP5/Activesync setup otherwise works fine, so I don't know what that missing file is all about.

Thankfully the SP5 is not a brick.
Interestingly enough, I had the exact same error upon updating my SP5! The solution is to just search for the file on your local hard drive, then point the prompt to that location. It will then finish installing the device driver, and the upgrade will complete.
Yeah, that solved it.
Because the update was crashing before I could even click the Browse button, I didn't think that would have helped.

i just upgraded to the lates WM5 from buzzdev but for some reasons, i cant sync with AS.
i already tried some trouble shooters and firewall solutions, but i still cant sync..
when i connect to the cradle, the partnership window doesnt show up, instead the RETRIEVING SETTINGS windows pops up, and the icon just circles and circles. when i press escape, it still doesnt sync. then after that, AS4.1 hangs.
can anyone give me a solution to this pls..

Try de-installing and re-installing AS. If no success, try the AS 4.2 beta upgrade. It is stable enough to work w/o prob.
i already tried other versions of AS 4.1 but failed
where can i get 4.2 beta by the way?
is this the beta upgrade?

I needed to upgrade to 4.2Beta to get my Dell Axim X51v WM5 PDA to work correctly.
Recently i started to use activesync to share internet connection over BT with my pc, it works fine, though i have two questions:
first one is the synchronisation wizard that pops up immediatly after my wizard connects. i've noticed that i need to close it for net link to be established. I'd like to disable it somehow, so that i don't need to get anywhere close to my PC to connect, it's quite annoying. I even tried to capture the AS window with my own software to close it, but was unable to recognize it properly. any chance to do it?
other thing is, when i use usb to sync with AS, i am able to acces lan resources with total commander. I was hoping i can do the same with BT connection, but so far i was unable to locate the proper solution for this idea... would be cool if i had it working, i used to do it over wifi, but i prefer using BT now, help anyone...

So just for your information guys, problem is solved. though im rather mad about it, as it happened an ugly way;]
so i;ve finally managed to create an application that captures proper Activesync windows and closes synchronisation wizard, so that my xda establishes connection without me even touching desktop pc. thats fine. i just couldn't remember where in registry to place my app so that it opens when i connect (i don't like the idea of my program just sitting in windows tray all the time), the idea is cool, it's almost finished, i go google. "activesync registry"

anyway, there's no need for my program to exist, i just change/add one registry value, thats it...

for you IM+ users out there...i'm having a big problem getting this to run properly on my Touch. I've used it before on my MDA and Wing with no issues at all, except the ocassional disconnect. Here's the problem: when i pull up the soft keyboard to type, the screen does not format correctly (i.e., the chat box is behind the keyboard) and when I attempt to close the keyboard, part of it stays open and i'm not still not able to see the chat window. It's basically nonfunctional like this. I've tried older versions and have had the same issue. Is this a problem with non-sliding keyboard phones? any help would be appreciated as I really love this program and want to continue using it.
the only program i've found that can compete with IM+ is Palringo..but I have a problem with getting disconnected and getting the error message "you've been connecting and disconnecting." anyone know a fix for this as well?

Long time I don't write anything lol I was very complicate but I need some help from you guys.
The problem is that every time I try to open the Opera 10, when it is starting a pop out windows opens saying something like: "CHT_Helper.exe can't be open, maybe it is not right signed or one of its component is missing, try to reinstall it" and when I touch the screen the phone freeze and I have to reset it.
I reinstalled that "CHT_Helper.exe" but doesn't work, I reinstalled Opera 10 and nothing either, I reinstalled both again and same history so I don't know what else to do
Any help will be very appreciate it, TIA.
