Im actually trying to install the CM7 for x10 mini pro with the phone specs above
the problem is im not sure if my phone is capable of doing it...
Can anybody enlighten me please?
Will this update my android version? from 2.1 to 2.++ or higher?
or should i find the CMVersion for my android version so it will match?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
of course you can install it..I have installed cm7,8,9 on my vodafone 845 so yes you can
Is it going to update my android version?
From 2.1-update1 to newer version?
Cm7 is based on 2.3.x so yes it will upgrade, you can also try cm6 wixh are based on 2.2.x but cm7 is faster and better in my experience.
Read the rom page carefully and the instalation instructions, most cm7 roms will require the latest stock version from sony, plug the phone into seus or ericcson pc companion, update to latest version, then download and flash the rom.
Heres a good one to get you started:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116
Btw, you will need root and a recovery installed to flash rom, you can find all the info in the mini pro development forum.

Rooted my phone already with z4root permanently so im onto recovery now...
Im still learning and of course praying hard not to brick the phone. hAhaHa

How to request for a firmware:
Submit the following files (using adb pull):
/system/default.prop
/system/build.prop
MSU.txt of Motorola Software Update (You only need the version of Flex)
Configuration > About phone > Webtop version
NOTE: I only MIGHT find that firmware or newer version of it.

I hate how every manufacturer forgets about the little country down under in the Southern Hemisphere. Its like we don't exist at all!

Oh well - you get sandy beaches and nice weather. I know which I'd prefer!
can someone upload the italian gingerbread sbf?
the link in this topic is on megaupload (closed) and from this link : http://and-developers.com/sbf:milestone2 multiupload is not working
Any chance of an update? Multiupload links are dead and I'm after official UK GB sbf.
Can someone reupload the Vivo Brazil sbf??
Thanks
Does anyone know if there's any one firmware that's a little less sensitive touch screen? My MS2 has been having some touch issues (the poltergeist kind, where all of a sudden there's a spirit touching some part of the screen) and I'd like to give other FWs a try to see if that solves it. I'm currently on will5's MIUI 2.3.16.
Thanks!

So far Endless's CM7 is the only ROM I know of, official or custom, that is not afflicted by the dreaded muilti-touch bug.
can someone tellme which sbf I need to download? european/chinese/brazil/or?

DACH 2.3.4 with Chinese kernel
I have edited stock DACH 2.3.4 SBF so you don't loose downgradibility.
SBF have Chinese GB kernel.
It's only useful if you haven't upgraded to stock GB ROM before.

2.3.6 Argentinia Personal
Hello guys, I accidentally flashed the Argentinia Personal SBF to my European Milestone.
It worked well except that I had no GSM reception, only 3G which is kinda annoying..
I want to flash the 2.3.4 UK SBF, but I have to wait until my external battery charger is delivered because my battery's empty now and it won't charge using the wall plug for now (recognized sbf flashing problem?).
Can I flash back from 2.3.6 Personal Argentinia to UK 2.3.4 with no problems? Or isn't that going to work at all? I was a little confused because it said "No Downgrade".
Thanks in advance!
Man, I think you have to do a downgrade and after install froyo version >gingerbread (the right version)

That's too bad..
As I known, all EU gb have version 3 and BR/AR gb (except for persona&vivo, which is 4) too.

I think i'll be stuck with this ROM full of crapware and no GSM reception when my charger arrives.
Thanks anyway

Personal 2.3.6 is R01 firmware, you can't go back to 2.3.4, not even 2.3.6 Retail Brazil, you're stuck with stock R01 or R02 firmares, try Retail Latam which is less bloated and is R01 too (you can root it and try CM9 which is pretty stable now)
hey guys ive been having trouble to get flash an fxz because rsdlite kept saying flash failed, but i think i finally got it right. now my question is what is the atrix 2 stock 2.3.5 kernel version and build number? my phone currently says (after fxz): Android Version 2.3.5, Kernel Version: 2.6.3598a0a06 [email protected]#1, Build Number: 5.5.1-175_EDFFW1-16
I just did a factory wipe/reset using RSD Lite to 2.3.5 using the AT&T Retail 2.3.5 ROM from here:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
(and I did add the little patch file because I had been running 2.3.6) and the build info and kernel version match what you posted so, I'd say that's the true "stock" factory condition, yep. I'm already updating to 2.3.6 as I'm typing this, actually.
Hi all,
I've recently purchased an AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G but it came with factory stock Gingerbread 2.3.6 installed. I need to have stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 installed instead. (for device testing)
I've found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1193927 that talks about downgrading to 2.3.3 but it's for a Rogers handset - if I followed this tutorial would I run into problems with my AT&T unit?
I would love to get some help on this one, there's a ton of resources available on this site but apart from the thread linked above, nothing quite specific enough for me.
Here's some more information on the phone:
Model number: SAMSUNG-SGH-I997
Firmware version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: I997UCLB3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-I997UCLB3-CL977492
Build number: GINGERBREAD.UCLB3
The very first gingerbread stock ROM released for the infuse was 2.3.6. A stock 2.3.3 does not exist.

2.3.6 UCLB3 is the only official stock GB for the Infuse.
2.3.3 is Canada Roger's Carrier. If you're on ATT, there is really no point in flashing it to 2.3.3 - unless of course, you are selling it to a Canadian. Even if you are selling it to a Canadian, just change the APN to Roger's.
2.3.6 has better video than 2.3.3
I am trying to revert a Galaxy Tab (SCH-i800) to stock non-root. There are guides saying to flash the stock rooted ROM and then use SuperOneClick to take out root, but the stock rooted ROM has a different kernel version than what was there before I flashed the rooted ROM.
I believe this different kernel version is causing issues in 3G speeds and stability (as speeds were much faster and the connection never dropped)(This tablet is using the hotspot as an always-on connection) and I have not been able to find a system dump anywhere or how to revert this tablet completely to stock.
Here are the stock details:
Hardware version: i800.0.4
Model: SCH-i800
Firmware: 2.3.5
Baseband version: S:i800.0.4v.EI04
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7
Build Number: SCH-i800.EI04
