Home Made Marco Lense Hack - Galaxy S I9000 Accessories

I seen the idea over at lifehacker.com and thought I would give it a go! The results are very impressive.
The circular lense as you can see in the picture is from a xbox 360 hitachi drive!

I will test it some more later today! I will be buying a replacement back case today at some point and i am going to glue the lense to it for a perm solution!

Yeah ^^ really nice, I'll give it a try
I have a dead 40x cdrom drive somewhere...

Very nice. How does the phone sit on a desk now?

I have it in a rubber case i got from ebay so its siting below it now and does not come into contact with my desk at all

Looking for a full screen photo widget

Similar to the stock one, but full screen. I have seven home screens and want to use a couple to display photos and keep a live wall paper.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Photo Frame Deluxe by Big Ideas Software is the closest i've found. It has 3 sizes, and if you chose the largest and check 'enable auto crop', it's pretty big. See attachment.

Bump bumper bumpin
For sure is one with 3D technology
>south korea
it's definitely a samsung.
also the silver border around the camera is a pretty good clue. dunno which model tho
At best, I could guess a Samsung something.
The camera border looks like a GSII, but its way too thick to be one.
It could be something other than Samsung though, you never know.
It seems that they are using a 3D phone since they are wearing 3D glasses. But I haven't heard of any 3D phone that needs 3D glasses being released yet.

Is your Motorola ear piece logo slanted/crooked?

I got my Razr HD today, and one thing I noticed is that the ear piece Motorola logo on my device is slanted.. it appears that it slants downwards towards the left, and the earpiece doesn't look straight.. Take a look at the pic below and you'll see what I mean.. the left dips and the space isn't the same as the right.. kind of hard to capture with flash on a camera.. let me know if yours is like this.

Mine doesn't look slanted...
Posted in the other thread.... never would have noticed unless you said something. Mine appears to be slanted left and down ever so slightly.... not a big deal IMO.

Hard to see, but the phone is floating
Just got one of these for €20 shipped (I know, the shipping costs were ridiculous) and have just finished testing it in my bathtub!
The idea is that I'd connect this to my phone while boating and wont have to worry about dropping it off the boat or something. Something I noticed when I opened it was that the lanyard perfectly fits along the length of the phone, meaning you could put the phone in that and kind of lean it against rocks while swimming or something without having to worry about scratching the phone!
Very happy with this product! Anyone used anything similar?

I just notice a little imperfection on the camera glass.

I just notice a little dot on the glass of the camera. In my understanding it's just a cover and not not camera itself. And because it's just a little bit to the side evey from lens it's not within camera angle but still sucks to see it there. What you think manufacturing imperfection or what ? It's brand new unit. I'll look if it's not too hard to disassemble unit and I'll clean it with a cotton. But then again it's not on the way of the camera , like at all.

No harm no foul I'd say. If it's really bothering you though go ahead and exchange it.
Pretty sure there is a sticker on the camera and you have to take it out.
