I just notice a little dot on the glass of the camera. In my understanding it's just a cover and not not camera itself. And because it's just a little bit to the side evey from lens it's not within camera angle but still sucks to see it there. What you think manufacturing imperfection or what ? It's brand new unit. I'll look if it's not too hard to disassemble unit and I'll clean it with a cotton. But then again it's not on the way of the camera , like at all.

No harm no foul I'd say. If it's really bothering you though go ahead and exchange it.
Pretty sure there is a sticker on the camera and you have to take it out.

Does anybody body else notice that the far left and far right holes on the front speaker phone seems like it is plugged with something stuck in there?
The rest of the holes seem black, but far left and far right seem gray like something is stuck in there

More than likely has something to do with the water resistance. It's on mine as well..

Yep, same thing on mine. Looks like the same material they used for the gaskets on both the back and around the USB port cover. Makes sense really.
I have noticed that my camera has started picking up so much more light that the pics aren't good at all anymore. The whites are so white that you can barely make out what it is.

You can't see any detail. Also minimal glare is amplified even in normal light.
Try googling HTC One M8 blurry camera. You'll find the remedy for it.

Yea I looked that up. It just seems the pics are more hazy than blurry. Not much detail at all.

Try the suggestions from this thread. I used the spray cleaner for my glasses and a microfiber cloth. My results are posted in that thread also.
I've got this happening with my Z3.

This isn't my picture, but have the same thing going on. I haven't seen any difference in camera quality.
Anyone know exactly what is happening?

You may want to get a replacement.
Thanks for the info. I'll be getting the phone replaced.

I have a LG G4 (H185). Yesterday, I was taking photos and I noticed this annoying smudge on every photo I had taken. It is, of course, easier to see in brighter photos. I'm quite certain this is a hardware issue and I think I can see a very small scratch on the glass window in front of the back lens. I'm not sure if this could be causing the smudge, so I want to be 100% sure this is not a software issue before I go a buy something and start taking my phone apart. Could there by a bug or something similar causing this smudge? Or is it almost definitely a hardware issue, like a scratch?
Thanks

Hi! First of all sorry for my bad english, I'll try to do my best.
I could get an U11 for quite cheap as secondhand because the back glass is broken. But I found an annoying problem at the camera. At white and very light or at black object you can see a mark on every photo. I tried to find out if it is a scratch? i might seen a really small scratch or i might just hallucinated . On an other forum one person told me it could be a camera modul problem, so at the moment I am not sure what it is. If anyone have had the same issue with this or other phone please let me know. I attach some pictures about it.

It could be dirt in the crack of the glass. It could be a faulty module. The only way to find out is replace the glass as that is cheapest.
