So, I think my friend has bricked my droid incredible. basically what happened was he was messing around it my phone and got into the clock work mod recovery screen. while in there he formatted every option in there. he thought itd be funny it really isnt... but now im stuck with it all its doing right now is it will show the screen that says HTC INCREDIBLE then it will go to the white screen with the bootloader recovery clear storage screen. Ive tried clearing the storage, ive tried using the PB31IMG.zip to downgrade it and try to restore it that way nothing has worked so far. was wondering if anyone here could help me fix my phone.
Thanks in Advance

Hi guys!
First I would like to say thanks for all the awesome tutorials that I have found on this website about rooting and what not.
So I just rooted my HTC Incredible last night and now I have some huge issues:
- My first issue is that when I try to power on my phone it will get stuck on the Droid splash screen and loop through it. I have tried a factory reset through the recovery menu and even tried to install a new ROM but nothing is working
- Second when I had my ROM installed I was missing all the main applications (people, market, etc..). It looked like I had found something about them but I haven't been able to attempt to try it since I can't install any ROMs or get pass the Droid splash screen.
- Lastly I couldn't get my Incredible to update to 2.2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have spent about 5 hours just researching and googling to try and find a solution but to no success
So I just got the problem solved with the loading but the only problem now is that there is no Market. How do I get it installed. It doesn't show up in the manage apps
been solved
Today I tried to install Gingerbread 2.3 to my Milestone 2 (Droid 2) and the attempt was a severe failure. Tried Hard Reset. Unable to do it. ยด
Can anyone say me how to recover from Rom Manager (But unfortunately not able to get my mobile started)
When ever I try to hard reset all I see is fickering of Moto logo just once on the screen and thats it. then the screen remains blank after that.
However, finally pressed the home+camera+volume down+power
and its showing
Bootloader 70.12
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode: USB
Have no idea what it means or wat to do. Totally new to rooted phone applications.
Could you plzzz help me out.
Any tips?
I am really frozen. Just a couple of weeks old.
I googled a lot of options. Everything was a failure.
Desperately searching for help!
I have searched and found nothing specific, besides one thing.
I need to know my options here...
Droid X2, used gingerbreak, the bootstrap, and clockwork mod signature authentication thing.
I tried loading the Eclipse ROM, and everything went fine, except when I went to reboot after installing the .zip from SD, it got stuck on the moto "dual core" screen.
I can get back to recovery, but wiping and rebooting show no results. I am a newb to smart phones, and dont know where I went wrong? It seemed very straight forward....
Anyways, if anyone has any advice, im all ears.
Thanks.
BUMP, plz guys
anyone? I need some advice here, shes still bricked
Hey,
So i got the xoom when it was fairly new and it got stuck at the m logo and the dual core screen. didnt know how to fix it so its been sitting for about a year now and i am trying to get it fixed. I have tried everything that i can find on the forums like a factory reset, fastbooting all the .imgs, and even tried to oem lock and unlock. Im not experienced in fixing computers at all. Just looking for something else that i could try or what component might be wrong so that i can try and replace it or have someone do it for me.
Thanks for the help in advance.
oh and whenever i try and do the line "adb reboot bootloader" i get a device not found error. i have been skipping that step because i think i have to activate or turn on debugging which i cant do since im stuck at dual core screen.
