I am looking for a sticky app where I can have a nice sized widget and type and read while at main menu. What ones do y'all like?

I use ColorNote. It's real simple and it works .
I have tried a few and I'm using "Post It Desk". Fast, easy to use and looks quite ok:

Hey guys, i thought id share an app i found on the market with you guys since i dont really hear much mention about it here. Its called "quickpic" by "alansw.com". It has immediately become my favorite photo/video viewer ever. Its extremely fast loading and excellent quality. Its probably what mediascape should have been. Anyways, in my opinion it has every other app of its kind beat hands down...go ahead, download it and try it out...i think youll be impressed to.

Thank you
Am liking it already, except for the non pre-thumbnail loading of images when browsing :-/ Although removing such a feature does speed up application launch, no doubt, I'd just prefer if it did

very good app thanks
I also love QuickPic. Fast and clean, incredible speed and features with full clarity at zoom, unlike Mediascape and Android Gallery.
JustPictures is also good with better UI but QuickPic is faster.
How to make it default on spb ?
Like when I click on spb gallery widget this has to open...how how how I say

WOW, this app is very very fast and has great quality.
Better than Gallery and Mediascape.
Thanks for this hint.

Wouldn't it be great to have a lockscreen like that? Pretty impressive stuff.
I think that lockscreen is ugly.
I really like HTC phones and that one looks impressive. But they all look good in commercials.

Very impressive looking, the lock screen looks strange. I have no idea what you would have to do to unlock it? It it a rotary?
Is that circular thing the lockscreen? The phone itself looks pretty nice though.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
That lock screen is awesome check out the hands on from engadget
Basically they have enabled live widgets on the lock screen and it lets your drag your preferred icon into the lock circle and it opens that app immediately. I think it's very similar to widget locker.
I haven't looked because really I don't know where to start.
I'm looking for launchers that might catch my eye. Currently I'm using Go Launcher because its pretty unique. Beautiful transitions, drawer transitions. Not enough that I want to keep it, but I am using it. I've used probably ever market launcher possible, I believe I remember seeing certain people make there own and am curious if some of this fellows who make them or find them would like to post them?
I've used SPB shell more then half of my android life I've had the phone, that being said. It is a great launcher but I just need something less power hungry and not huge in size.
I'm looking for unique and simple but yet beautiful launcher.

Launcher pro plus and adw ex are my favorites
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA Premium App
also have regina 3d,gde,@home,panda,dxtop,various others in the market. android seven is a neat one for a desktop look based on win7
Launcher Pro Plus is one of the most popular choices and it's what I use.
Along side with WidgetLocker you can create some pretty great looking stuff.
Attached is my lockscreen and homescreen.
I've tried every one of those ----
This is my setup.

Looks amazing! Can you detail what all you're running?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Go Launcher Ex
Minimalistic Text
LCD Density
Fancy Widget (Update its not in a new screen shot)
MIUI, Corzeth Theme?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I'm just so damn proud of my setup I need to post my updated screenshots
I used to run launcher pro, but development kind of stalled and the widgets were lacking.
Currently I am running go launcher ex, and it's probably the closest thing to sense in third party launchers. The calendar widget is great and the recent and running app tabs are great. Their weather widget is the closest thing to sense I've found but unfortunately it destroys your battery life.
Another thing to try is their dialer. It has the quick dial search like sense. You don't have to use the launcher with this one.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
wow thats a nice setup!
I wouldn't call it beautiful, but I use zeam launcher. It's simple and useful.

I'm looking for a widget to allow me to post to twitter. All of the twitter apps that I've tried have widgets that show timelines. I just basically want a box to type in and post. Any suggestions?
Plume..

I've actually been using Plume, but somehow I missed the 2x1 widget, which has the status post button. Thanks!
Anytime. That is the only twitter app i use.

Could've sworn go twitter widget did. Not sure

Android Pro Widget is the best social network widget on the market. It's better then Plume. You can use apw for twitter, facebook and more. It also have different themes that you will like. Try it out.

Bah you name stealer! Jk
Haha cant help but derail since ive never seen you around. But im about to try the app you suggested. Even though 12 posts in 3.5+ years isnt impressive. Maybe you speak from experience.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
I tried out all of the suggestions and decided to stick with Plume. Even though it doesn't show you the tweet entry box until you click on the widget's icon, it works out to be the same number of clicks (or I guess I should say "taps") as when you want to type in the text area of widgets that do show you the entry box. So, I like Plume's the best and, of the ones that I tried, I liked Android Pro Widget the least.
Lol. That been my nickname sense I was lil. I thought I was the only Kwes. I like your work so I'm not mad we have the same name.

Nice time, use a site like http://bitly.com/ so they don't see it coming. I've ran into a few of those... Saw it coming... :/

Twicca is barebones, and customizable. Runs really smooth. Allows you to only install the add-ons you actually use.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
I use http://goo.gl/d4gHQ
i've tried a few, but to me, tweetcaster is by far the best and easiest to use. Tons of features.
Tweetdark is pretty nice. Simple nice UI and works well.
I use the official app. It's cleaner than everything else. Plume is pretty good also, but I had an issue where the text box wasn't visible when my keyboard and predictive words popped up. The official app appropriately shifts everything up, so nothing disappears.
I use Plume but I like inline previews pics and Twitlonger
tweetdeck is better for me, it just keep it simple and has twitlonger and more
Can't figure out for the life of me how to view replies to a tweet in Twicca, does it not have this function? You can see what I mean by going to Twitter.com on a desktop PC and clicking any tweet, a nested area opens up showing replies.
Tweetcaster is my favorite because I can customize it.
