I was just wondering is it would be cool to make some kind off application to automatically silence several contact and incoming sms. I know there are some apps that work like this but i would be cool to act like this:
lets say: 4 girlfriends
amy - anna - annely - amber
When you at amy house select in the app your at Amy.
So automatically Anna - Annely - Amber is being locked or silenced.
All sms and contact are temporally removed. When you are going over at Anna the rest are being locked and silenced.
Would be cool to have a nice UI whit pictures.

You might be able to use callfirewall to do what you want! dont get caught though!!

every call firewall have profiles, you need that many profiles as much as your girlfriends are every profile will have blocking for a cetrain numbers you wish, yes it is simple - but you have to change the profiles manually

Nope, my love life is great, not that it matters to you... I just think that guys who cheat make the rest of us look bad and make girls suspicious of even the loyal guys... In short cheating and sneaking around makes it tough for those of us who are actually honest...

hahaha its an idea that could be used in more constructive ways.
Like say you give your phone to one of those annoying people that just HAVE to see it. You can just change a quick setting and hide select things like say a couple folders (maybe ur pics folder) and texts for some of your contacts (like say your girlfriend). I mean honestly, who wants someone reading you and ur gf's texts? and then looking at all of ur pics? that way the only thing you have to worry about is them dropping ur baby. lol

man, i wish i had this a few years ago, might have saved the first wife from seeing texts from the other gurls......... anyway i digress... yes the aps above do work ok, sometimes...., but if your life (wife) depended on it, i wouldnt.....
Provided you are not in a committed relationship with any of these women, I would suggest being more upfront about the fact that you see other women. A lot of women are surprisingly comfortable with this.

Ok let’s close this thread. I think this app will never come to life. I should probably put more time learning programming so I could make it my self. But then again if I could do it my self with ease I think I would never ever needed it

I think this app would be a great idea. We're talkin cheatin on girlfriends here, not wives. You can honestly say you've never cheated on a girlfriend? pfft!!

so a few days ago,like a week ago or 2,i was texting..i was about to send a new text,n noticed that when i was typing,the keys wouldnt pop out when id press them..i was like WTF lol.found it funny,ahaha n weird...but also noticed the keyboard lag was completely goneeeee.like it was typing super smooth...i rebooted the phone n it went away,not sure what caused it.im running fresh 1.1 btw.loving this rom.....so im just wondering,if theres a way,or if some1 can make the keyboard keys not pop out,like an "update.zip" type of file where it does that...hopefully yall get my point/idea lol...thanks!

I think what he's looking for is when you press a letter, that single letter pops up bigger than all the other letters in the screen.

I had a search around, but found nothing for this on the HTC threads. Sorry if its been covered before.
Every morning I send a text, saying exactly the same thing.
When Im on my way home, I send another text. Same thing every day.
Is there an App that will allow me to do that, without having to type out the text?
It just does it by its self.

I'm sure I have seen reference to task and profile schedulers around XDA. Perhaps mopre searching (inlcuding the General section) would uncover something. Perhaps a utility that texts someone automatically to tell them that you are on your way home is note necessarily the best thing in the world, espcicially if you are lying critically ill in a ditch and everyone thinks you are fine (cos you cant use your fone yourself, cos you're dying). I alw3ays thought that the reason for sending someone a text to say you were on your way home was so they knoew you were safe, so you would always do that manually. I guess I'm just old fashioned.

Stop being an asshat and get a life dude. you'd hae to SSH into their phone, and for that you would need their root PW and you would also need an address to SSH into to, and good luck getting that. Also even if you got in you'd have to hope that the terminal implement(I believe it is a modified bash) has the proper commands to "crash" their phones. instead of wasting sever space and everyone's time with your silly questions and do something productive, because all it sounds like is you are trying to build up some cred for yourself as some sort of "hacker". You come her, and you want everyone to do the work for you, so you can crash the cool kids iPhone at school. get a life

Nope there's no way to remotely crash an Iphone. SMS bomber only irritates them, but i think some of them have bombers too thats why we use anti spam filters. Hmmm but seriously, is there a way the Iphone can get overloaded and hang or crash?

well this is not a app for snooping but you can try installing truecaller on her mobile and then even if she deletes the call records then also you can see whom she calls vice-versa and you can tell her that this is app is for searching numbers.... and this can do the trick

yup what is it does is that it actually saves the log somewhere different place rather than taking it directly from the dialler app and you can easily see who had called her and don't tell her that it saves call log

i just install and test it on my smartphone but when i delete call from default is delete from the app too !
so i can install this app in her smartphone but when she call with this (strane man) i think she remove the call immediatly !
think this app dont do nothing! am waiting maybe another member have more experience

I know this is a technical forum. Not meant to give personal advices
BUT this topic really disturbing me. So if the "guy" is not intended to act in any criminal way to your daughter (In that case you can call the police of course) you may be think about letting your daughter decide about the poeple she spends time with...
If the simcard is registered on your name (In case your daughter is not at least 16years old it must be like this) you can ask the provider for the call logs...

every day when she comes home from school talking on the phone .. but in the evening when I check the phone i can't find anything!
I thought there was some application that saves .. what one does on the smartphone.! because i check on Google but i find this fourm!

Guys stop telling this person what to do they're just concerned. From a point I understand where they are coming from and I understand what others think too. But...
@zakben trust your daughter, if you trust her she will not lie to you. Just lay low on this situation for a moment. Just tell her not to do anything stupid or crazy. If she has a boyfriend its not a big deal as many students nowadays do so. Its natural.
But if you do feel like something is up and you want to know. Just personally ask her calmly that whom she is talking to and saying you will not get angry what so ever. This will build up trust and wouldn't cause any problems between you two.
No need to add stuff to your daughters phone to find out what she is doing as its invading her space.
