I'm using Illıum's ewallet (one of the major factors of me using WM), and my Rom is Energy Cookie 28Aug. version. Trough day, I've been using ewallet lots of time for account numbers, personal pass codes, card numbers etc. . Untill today I never faced a self closedown with this application, but today after I open it, just whilst reading a text it shuts itself suddenly without any warning. It happened 3-4 times, I did restart the device but it couldn't help. What could be the reason? Due to Rom or any other thing like settings or other tweak programs? This program is very important for me, and for this very reason I need your help.
same problem
I've installed the same ROM and also E-Wallet.
I have the same problem, after i deleted the empty wallet, i can use my own wallet. Somethimes it still closes itself, but not so often.
Is there a real posibility to solve this problem?

Hi everybody. Although this is my first post I had registered a couple of weeks ago and have been lurking for a long time. I thought I would post my experiences with the issues in the title in hopes that they might help someone else.
Th first problem I tackled was the SMS issue. With some contacts I could not reply to messages because their displayed phone number did not contain the area code even though it was listed in my phone's contact page for them. I also could not initiate a text message from their contact profile as the area code would be dropped when typing the message. The only way I found to send or reply to a message was to start a new message and enter the beginning of their phone number or name then the phone number would be displayed correctly including the area code.
I tried all the suggestions I found here and other places. Such as deleting all cache and log files as well as deleting the individual contacts and recreating them. Nothing I did solved this issue. What was really weird is some of my contacts did not have the area code in their phone number yet it would be added when messaging.
Finally I sync'd my contacts with gmail. I then logged in and made sure all phone numbers had the correct ten digits. Then I performed a factory reset on the phone and resync'd my contacts with gmail. All messaging issues were resolved.
Doing a factory reset gave me the ambition of trying to solve the phone shutting off after being charged. This was a problem as long as the charge was at least 78% to 80%.
After fixing the SMS issue I left the phone completely stock for more then a week. Not once did I experience any shutdowns. I then installed LauncherPro Plus. Immediately the shutoff issue returned. After several days I performed a factory reset and left it at stock and experienced no issues for another week. Reinstalled LauncherPro Plus and the issues returned.
I performed another factory reset and installed ADWLauncher. After two weeks of use not a single shutdown. Thinking this was fixed I started installing apps. Although not as severe the shutdowns returned. Uninstalling all the apps resulted in the phone no longer shutting down. So I started installing apps one at a time and testing for a few days in-between the installs. Some apps would cause the phone to shut down while others were fine. There really was no pattern to which apps worked compared to the ones that didn't. Both Handcent and ChompSMS caused shutdowns.
After a couple of weeks of using the phone with installed apps that caused no shutdowns I installed Spirit Level Plus. Once again the phone randomly shut down when charged above 80%. This made no sense as this app should have minimum interaction with the operating system. Then, for whatever reason, I had an idea. I uninstalled Spirit Level and reinstalled it using TWLauncher and once installed switched back to ADWLauncher. The phone never shut down after this.
Thinking I might be on to something I installed both Handcent and ChompSMS using the same method. What a pleasant surprise it was when after a week there was not one shutdown. So I installed a few more apps and still did not see any issues. This was maybe a month ago and since that time I have probably installed 40 - 50 apps using the same method and have not seen one shutdown.
I apologize for this post being so long but I wanted to give as much detail as possible. Hopefully this will help someone else and also be a small repayment from me for all the valuable info I have gotten from the forum.
stock or not it will reboot. the phone has a hardware issue. warranty it asap.
Still no random shutdowns. As far as exchanging the phone I think I'll hold off for now. Sending it in under warranty will most likely get me a refurbished phone that may or may not have the same or other issues.
Hello all,
I have Samsung Galaxy Nexus, running CM 10.2.0. I had no problems until about 2 weeks ago.
I noticed that my phone got rather sluggish and I investigated what is going on. Looking at the list of running apps I immediately noticed that Google Play Services is using 130MB of memory instead of usual 30-40MB. By looking inside details of that process, I can see that the culprit is android.process.acore, which is using 84MB.
Similarly, looking at memory footprint using application OS Monitor, I see Search Applications Provider sitting on top of the memory usage list with 108.2 MB.
Restarting the phone gets everything back to normal for a while. I can trigger this problem reliably by going into Dialer app and calling someone. But even if I am not calling anyone, this issue seems to come back by itself. I am not sure, but maybe contacts synchronization?
It seems like Search/Contact provider is not releasing the resources and gets stuck.
What I tried so far:
-> freezing Search Applications Provider with Titanium backup. This solves the issue, but I lose Google Now functionality, which I would really like to keep using :/
-> deleting Search Applications Provider data - problem persisted
-> deleting Contacts and Contact Storage data - problem persisted
-> Disabled all categories that Search should be indexing in the phone - problem persisted
Please advise how to solve this issue. I have searched this forum, went through a lot of threads, but all I found was acore crashing, not acore using too much memory.
p.s. I am not an newbie, I know my way around android, linux, programming, debugging etc.
Thanks.
No one ? Please help, this is still an issue.
Hello, everyone. A few months ago a relative received a brandless Android 4.4.2 smartphone as a present for suscribing to a journal. Once he started using it he began noticing that strange apps would install alone in the phone, and once in a few days the phone would start behaving weirdly (making calls to his contacts, opening apps randomly and writing random characters. The phone wouldn't respond to touch while that was happenning). I have read on the Internet that several users had also had malware problems with the same phone model (which html5test.com detects as a 77x while imei.info detects it as a Zora T-6). It seems that there is some kind of pre-installed malware on it, as the problems do not disappear after factory-resetting the phone. I have also tried uninstalling suspicious system apps by rooting it, which stopped the phone from installing apps alone. But it keeps making calls, opening or closing stuff itself, etc. I tried lots of aniti-viruses and they did not find any malware at all. I do not know what else to do in order to get rid of this annoying malware. Could anyone please help me?
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone.
I remember some time ago I updated my phone with one of those monthly updates (cannot remember which one was was it or when, but I do perfectly remember this started happening after an update). Since then I've been experiencing issues with some apps. Just some apps fortunately and not the ones I use often.
Basically, whenever I open one of these apps it takes at least 3 minutes to load (sometimes even more), then the apps gets stuck so I get a message saying if I wanna close the app or wait so I just tap wait. Even though I've been facing these issues with apps that I don't use often it is still veeeeery annoying and now I'm bringing this issue here because I recently started using an app for college and when I need it in class I should not have to be waiting 3 or 4 minutes just to have a single app open. I tried formatting the phone and did not have any luck. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any tips on how to fix this?
Some other apps I have issues with:
-Temple Run 2
-Runtastic
-I'm Ping Pong King
-Uber
There are of course other apps I have the same issues with, I'm just mentioning a few. The games do not only take forever to load, but are laggy as hell and literally unplayable.
You could go into Apps and wipe their cache, and see if that helps. If that does not, perhaps going into TWRP and wiping cache there. If neither of those methods work . . . maybe an OS file or two have become corrupt?
You do have a TWRP backup, yes?
Are any of the apps related by a process they use, e.g. wifi, bluetooth . . . ?
Hi all,
I've a Moto G3 (2015) smartphone that, since few weeks, has a very weird problem. It starts using a very high CPU % and so the device become really hot and the battery goes down in a very little time.
I've already done the reset (multiple times) and started fresh, with no imported backups and installing the apps one by one manually (and only few of them). But the problem still is there, without a precise reason (sometimes just after the reset, without any new installed/upgraded app, sometimes after some days and without any changes from the day before...)
All I can see is that when it happens the PlayStore stops working... It can't install new app, nor update any of the installed ones
I tried several guides form the web about the PlayStore problem but no one work... I've everytime to reset the phone and start anew
Has someone the same problem?
Thanks in advance
