[REQ] Free app to post and read different forums - Android Apps and Games

Hello All
Can someone recommend a good free app (if there are any) for BOTH reading and posting to different forums?
The two apps I know of are the XDA app which is tied to this forum and tapatalk but the unpaid version doesn't let you post to forums.

Comes to my mind...
Tapatalk works, also only for forums who support it..
Use your browser? Works too

I am not opposed to buying apps (as soon as we aren't tied to google checkout). But also I wanted to know if there were any other good apps out there for aggregating all your forum accounts into a single app. Tapatalk is the only one I know about, was hoping others might have been able to recommend other apps.

[Q] [Request] Forum App

I don't know where the right place to post this would be, but I am a member of a forum that has upwards of 3k+ people online at any given time. As far as i know of, there is not an App for it, just a mobile site that is VERY limited.
I was wondering if it's a pretty big deal to create an App like the XDA App for another forum? It would be amazing and make life a whole lot easier for lots of people.
I am sure there is more work than I would assume, but just throwing it out to ask.
The site is ar15.com. Check it out, click on General tab and scroll to the bottom to see how many people are on ATM.
Thanks
Xda app is just the basic crippled version of tapatalk. Get it and if your forum isn't already in their database just email them to add it.

how do i make an android app to connect to my forum?

Hey guys i need some help. can someone tell me how to make an android app that connects users to my forum?
What do you want your app to do? Hyperlink your users to a forum on the web or have an integrated forum as part of your app?
Check out the "Droid Forums" app on the Android Market...great example of a forum app. See if that's what you want to do and copy it!

I would also be interested in this.

how would I do the same thing for "another" forum ?
does it require integration with the forum itself?
IE zettaboards is there a way to make a forum app for a zettaboards forum?

While tapatalk does cost $999 for a custom app, your forum users could just use the generic tapatalk app if you have the free tapatalk files installed on your sever.

Sorry to post on a kind of old topic... but I'm interested on doing that! I want users can access the forum I manage, similar like Tapatalk, but in a free way.
How can I do it? Can I copy the files or something? I don't mind if I need to buy Tapatalk for doing a free app...
Thanks!
Sorry to bring an old thread, but i thought it would be better reviving this one than making a new one.

If it helps, my forum is on 'TapaTalk' and 'Forum Runner'
Well, I looked on Internet for that, I read a lot but with no luck at the end. I still don't know if it's possible in a easy and not so expensive way. My forum is also on Tapatalk and Forum Runner.

That's why I said "not so expensive way"...
I found perfect site for creating apps...Yesterday I ended up on some site called apps-machine.com . I have to share it with you guys. I started creating my own app and after 15 minutes clicking on their control panel(no programming, just clicks) I made app in what user could make effects on their photos, paint photos, play music, play videos, have notepad, chat and stream music. They got literally 1000's of features on their control panel I think this could be a gold mine And I read something that they have free app development and so on. Aaand you can change everything all the backgrounds,colors,tabs...and you instantly see it on that same page through their simulator..don't know how they managed to do that but it is super handy...I am super excited at the moment..time to get some apps on apple and play store

How to make a forum app?

Everyone over at our forum (green rom project) is having trouble making a forum app. We like how the tapatalk app works and want something similar. Does anyone know how to make one? Since we are still in the infancy stages as far as a forum goes (we're still getting things together) we can't really afford to have tapa talk make the app for us. Can someone help?
Why make a forum app. You should be able to enable Tapatalk for your forum then everyone just has to buy the Tapatalk app.

We want to make available a free app much like the xda forum app free version. Yea, I realize you can buy it from market. Thanks for the suggestion though!

[2.3+] Google Now Alternative

I always wanted to try Google Now but being stuck on Gingerbread... left me with no choice.
I know XDA has their Google Now project for ICS but I am not even on ICS.
I was however able to find a really good Google Now Alternative called Maluuba. It is works like Siri and Google Now combined. It will remind you about your upcoming appointments and other stuff. You can also use your voice and ask Maluuba to set an appointment, check the weather and even check movie showtimes.
It can do a lot of things and urge all you to check it out. To learn more about the app, go to the following:

Well.. I feel that the app was really good and deserved to put out there..
I am glad someone else out there thinks the same way
(I was unaware that there was another thread about this)
Your response doesn't justify a repost. A thread was already created about this app. If you like it so much, reply in the original thread. You know how many useless threads we could avoid if people just used the search button before posting?

Google TV forum?

Is there one on here? If not, where should I post topics related to it?
And while I'm here, is there an app that allows me to control the tv with my phone?
I don't think there's any specific forum on here for it.
I use the Google TV app from the play store, gives me all the control I need and the apps available for iPhone as well.

Can you post a link? For some reason I can't find it (I'm in Canada if that makes a difference)
