I am a fan of mobical.net sinchronization server. I synced there all my phones. But now I moved to android and I realised that I can't download mobical sync app from market.
They locked russia at all:
1) Phone number lock (fixed fake us numbers like +19232234231)
2) Market russia lock: can't search mobical app in market.
It seemes that mobical app in market is hidden for my region. If anyone could find app called "mobical" in market, please backup it and post here. I really need that app

I've started getting an error over the last couple of days where I am unable to download anything from the market due to the error message "This item cannot be installed in your country."
I'm in the UK, have a completey unmodified Transformer running 3.1. I also have a HTC Desire which has no problems getting anything from the market, its just my Transformer which has this issue.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Ah sweet, cheers for the link. I started having probs today!
All I needed to do was 1-3, then re-added my login for gmail and it's all working again. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't find Auto Trader in the app, and then on the web market it said it couldn't be installed in my devices country...!

Just a quick question regarding the android market region dependencies, does it check your region by looking at the ip?
I'm in Hong Kong atm, and some of the apps I cannot download (like google earth for example :\) due to the app being not available in the country. However I'll be going back to the UK in 2 months time so I'm wondering if the apps will become available when I get back to UK?

if you have root access, try MarketEnabler from Android Market.

Cheers for the information, though I'm not too bothered about not getting the apps at the moment, I just want to know if the apps will be available for when I get back to the UK.

I just got a great news today, my own application will be included on all the phone of the brand "X" in my little country (Belgium)
I got so excited when I am looking at the phones in the shops and I can see my application by default.
Unfortunately, the brand "X" is noobie and seem unable to link my app to the Market, so the users cannot be aware that there is an upgrade in the Android Market.
they just ask me by email

I am a new member of XDA forum and this is my first request. I am currently in India and needed a free application "Quicken Money Management's APK file" from Intuit. Unfortunately this application is available only in the US Play store and not allowing me to download on my Sony xPeria S.
** Please note that my phone is not rooted as I have tried all methods but unable to root. So, I think advice to root or change the country code for play store will not work. I am providing you an attachment with the screenshot of error from Indian play store.
I would really appreciate if someone will provide the APK file of this tiny application to my email id: [email protected]. I needed this applications very badly. Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated :good:

Hi! Welcome to XDA. I'd like to help you with that file but I'm not sure if we're allowed to upload APKs from the market (since it's free maybe it's not such a big deal but rather play it safe!).
Have you tried downloading the file from the Amazon Appstore? They have that application available for download. Please see the link below!

Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that I have tried the Amazon.com website. It was the first thought in my mind to download it from Amazon.com store. When I tried to download, I got following message:
"We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions."
So, I think it same as Google play store. After searching on Google play store, I found one application "APK SHARE", which you can download and share the installed applications from your phone. It search for all installed applications on your phone and give you option to share. I would really appreciate if you kindly spare some time to download it on your phone and then send me to my email id : [email protected].

Finally I managed myself to root my Sony Xperia S and downloaded "Quicken Money Management" from Play store. It is 100% working and I can sync my data with Quicken 2013 and mobile App.
I've searched on Play Store and found an application "App Share" to share any installed application. So, if anyone needed the APK file of Quicken Money Management, you can email me to [email protected] and I'll attach the file.
