I just noticed since I rooted and installed the leaked 2.2 that Google Sky doesn't't show up nor will it install. Any suggestions would be great!

Yeah I can't update it via the installer. How are rooted phones going to get the version included in the OTA? Anyone know?

Well if you running sense make sure you update when the dev upgrades the rom (calk, and some other already did) other then that you would have to download the rom(3.70 or above) and look for the apk and see if it works on your rom

I got an email concerning the beta (and got a link to download the beta installer) and it gave me 2.15. I am running CM 6.1.1 with it.

I think the Skype on the market is still not compatible with the Thunderbolt yet. There is a leaked version which is.

Supposedly the leaked version still has the vulnerability. Do you have documentation that this was fixed in the leaked version?
Credit for the APK Extract goes to Chinle43. I've tested it on stock GB 2.3.3 Galaxy Tab ROM over WiFi that is found on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073854
It works fine, but is a little grainy.
I have not tested it on Froyo. GB only unless someone else with a stock SGT says otherwise.
APK Attached.
Nice, I'll give it a try
Can report that it does NOT work on my stock Froyo T-Mo Tab.

Interesting. So I wonder if GB has some sort of DRM in it that Netflix likes.
Not working on my VZW tab either.

That'd be my guess! An unfortunately since I don't wanna lose my 3G on the tab, I'll have to wait for an official GB update!
Doesn't work on my tmo tab running overcome 2.3.3

it says it run on evos that are only on 2.2. mine is running miui and works fine (based on cm7). haven't tried my tab yet.
Over on the Nook side of XDA, it was found that by editing the build.prop file, you can fake Netflix into think it's one of the supported devices.

Sadly, I'm not brave enough (yet) to try this. So far all I've done with my tab is root it.
Works perfect T-mo Tab...thanks!
Somebody help me out please

Did you even add the final line exactly as post indicates
ro.build.fingerprint=sprint/htc_supersonic/htc_supersonic:2.3.3/GRI40/102588:user/release-keys
I can't get this to work on vz tab. Netflix no longer says it's an unsupported device, but it just closes after I put in username and passwd.
I am still expieriencing reboots. Is this the same with others with Mr2 and ginger

Mine work reboot because of the kernel change when flashing roms. Have you tried the newest radio leak (2.5) yet?

Sorry, but nope! once you are on custom rom, you just have to wait for developer release version. If you want to take the update now, just odin back to stock EP4, then OTA to FP1, then FP5 then FP8. FP8 stock rom is pretty fast and smooth. Your choice!!
Is there any way to stop the OTA update from occurring?

as stated above nothing is formally supported on FP8, yet.
however, a few days ago I put Tweaked 3.2 on top of Stock FP8 (installed via CWM zip). Got to keep FP8 Kernels and Radios (confirmed kernel with "uname -r")
Nothing obvious broke, Calls/SMS/MMS went in and out... both wifi and mobile data worked.
Disclaimer: only played around with this thing for like half a day. did NOT put it through the paces. YMMV, hack at your own risk, etc.
I wouldn't do it unless you are messing around with your spare phone like i was.... just for grins
For now I'll ignore the update. im sure it's nothing I can't live without.
If you are currently running Tweaked 3.2 FP5 (or anything else not stock), I agree with you 100%.

I just updated my Droid charge with new FP8 OTA.
Could Any body guiding me how to rooted my phone to a sFP8 stock rooted rom and keep all same radios. And also remove all verizon apps that I don't need.
