Hi
I have bought Hama tvout cable but it does not work with JM6 rom.
Could you share your experience on the tv cables and post a link where to buy a working cable?
Cheers
I got this one for £2 from amazon a few weeks ago. Worked fine on JF3, I haven't tested it after I upgraded to JM5.

1. Which JM6 rom are you referring to? There are 2 JM6 rom out there
2. Did you set the tv out setting and ensure your tv switched to the right channel?

For the better, because Samsung Galaxy S doesn't support HDMI over the usb connection. Read the other thread
Yeah, is not possible, and has been confirmed multiple times. Shame!

Can you connect nexus s to the tv like vibrant either hdmi or from the 3.5 jack and how about wii mote will it work
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Hdmi out? No. Tv out via 3.5? Possibly, might want to try to ask some sites that already have the phone. Someone said wiimote will work since it has 2.1 bluetooth.

its best to ask a site with the NS to test the vibrants hdmi out cable and see if it will work i have not seen any info about that outside of it not having an hdmi connector on-board

I doubt it with the initial release. It's possible if they release a rev 2 version, but right now there is no type of hdmi out on the phone from watching the videos and looking at the pictures.
How about DLNA?
Hey,
any progress in this? I would like to buy Nexus S, but HDMI is a wanted feature. Have anyone tried that Samsung HDMI-microUSB cable?
Cheers Jakoob
If I want to connect my phone to my tv, what kind of HDMI cable would I need and where would I get one? There seems to be a few different types.
I just spoke to clove re this very question at the moment LG do not have one listed, but this one will do the job.

Got one for £2.50 on Ebay from HK, videos play great on my HD TV and the quality seems no different to any other hdmi cable i used before with my cameras... You might have to wait a while for it to arrive though (the one i bought took 9 days to arrive!).
Not sure if links are allowed on here, so just type in "MICRO HDMI TO HDMI CABLE CORD FOR LG OPTIMUS 2X 3D NEW" on Ebay, the seller i bought from is Kingsun, was the cheapest i found on Ebay - Cheapest UK ones are around £4 - £5
as above, bought one from ebay for a couple of quid, works fine!
You didn't get one with your phone?
I got one in my phone box, even says LG on it.
Hi, am using the original cable LG DHC-N100, which is originaly for LG Optimus 2X P990.
The cable is compatible with HDMI 1.4 (3D) which is important for LG Optimus P920 3D
And I paid about 14€ for that, quite cheap.
Thank you all for the infos about the micro hdmi cable. I saw many on ebay. It`s important to be 1.4 if I have an 3D tv? If not, the cable could be 1.3?
Yes...It's important...

To use it on a 3D TV it's important that the cable is 1.4 type. I don't know much about how a HDMI works but is has something to do with data flow, which is bigger with the 3D images and video than the normal blueray and HDMI.
The strange thing is that I have LG 50PX950N tv, and I don't know why but the 3D from the phone is not working...at least not always. I think it has something to do with the TV - I've not twicked it yet.
PS: if you want we can chat in romanian in PM.

If you just want a 6 foot extension , then you can use this USB 3.0 cable between the PS and the smaller transformer cable:
http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-6-Fe...CAQ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320543979&sr=8-1
is that one confirmed to ne working because like i said i bought the amazon branded one and its a no go
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
Think it has to be 3.0 cable for it to work as it requires more connections
return and get a 3.0 cable to see if it works for you. the only reason i could say that it charged is because it could be asleep meaning it charging from pc.

I was wondering if there are and android sticks with a scart connector.
Since I have a very old TV and getting one with a HDMI connector isn't an option for me I was hoping if there is a product like this.
If So, what are the costs of this product.
The ones I've seen So far are all HDMI.
I am aware that there are HDMI to SCART cables but they are a bit to expensive.
Thanks in advance

no offence dude but if you can afford a pc, an internet connection, a mini pc, power to power it, you can afford to buy a $2/£2 hdmi-scart adaptor from ebay :good:

Sorr mate but the ones I saw earlier were 50€ or higher.
Thanks for the link

Yes, that cable will not work - converting HDMI to scart is not that simple. Best bet is to get the stick with the a/v output I mentioned above....

i was really just using that link as an example , the proper cable should be there somewhere, and are you sure it wont work? im sure ive used a xbox360 converter before with no probs on an old tv at my sisters
edit: if the cable above is wrong as mentioned then jetfin's option probably seems the easiest route.
however i cant find any support for this device so if you do run into a problem which lets face it with these sticks you probably will at some point, theres not gonna be much help.
also something to note :c+p'd from the website
"""""Now on to the less than stellar bit. The camera. We were all excited because we thought we’d found a bargain basement way to add Skype video calling to our TV (compared to products like the Logitech Skype camera which costs hundreds of dollars). But to our dismay Skype refused to work with the dongle, and not only Skype. We tried Tango too, and even Google Talk failed to load. So it looks like there’s either a) a bug in the firmware or b) the thing is designed not to let you access the camera via a video chat application.
It totally ruins the point of having a camera in the device, what else are you going to do, photograph (or video) yourself sitting on the couch? Not really, eh?"""""
360 outputs in interlaced too. I'm guessing you would need to have a deinterlacer too. There is a hdfury that converts to VGA then you could VGA> to rgb thru a deinterlacer prob only cost couple of hundred quid lol
