[Q] App / Widget that draws "dividers" or "lines" on the homescreen
Hey XDA
Does anyone know of a widget that could draw simple lines on the homescreen
to "divide" the screen into multiple "zones".
After using the Simi Clock widget (appbrain-> bit.ly/aCqElU ) together with
launcherPro that enables you to resize the widget and drag the "divider" from simi clock to split another zone on the homescreen, i was curious
if there was some widget / app that could do that.
Like this: ( to new so can't paste links ) - b.imagehost.org/view/0170/HTC_Desire_HD_1 -
this is not my image, taken from the launcherPro Forum
I have searched for a simple widget like that but ended up with nothing, so im turning to the al mighty XDA to maybe catch a break
thank you

Don't know about a widget or app, but you can always draw the lines on the wallpaper!
Check out mClock, the XML template feature can do this.
Hello everyone,
Ihave installed many ROMs just to get 4x1 Flip Clock Widget, but so far no luck. Latest ROM I have installed is InsertCoin 3.3.5. In the thread there are screenshots showing 4x1 Flip Clock but I don't have it in widgets.
I have tried [WORKING] Sensation XL 4x1 Flip Clock Widget thread but again no 4x1 Flip Clock.
Can somebody tell me how to get it or offer me a ROM wich has it in...
Thanks...
Insertcoin 3.3.2 should have it as I'm running it right now. However, it ruins the other size clock widgets because becomes scrambled but if you only care about 4 by 1 like me its great.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA App

Guys, I just came across this great piece of software called Widget Window.
You can use it to create floating windows of any existing homescreen widget. It also places a convenient link in notifications where you can get your widgets in and out of the screen. Plus it´s free with no ads. Really recommend it.
Widgets I´m currently using:
Application Monitor - to replace the missing taskmanager from JB
Assistive Light - quick access to a saving torch anytime
Genius Widget - convenient Scientific Calculator (better than stock calc and themed to fit my current homescreen)
Stick Notes HD - quick post-it time of notes as S-Notes should have
Very handy app thanks

Very nice. I was asking but I just figured it out :
It is possible to resize the floating widget (click just above the floating widget's title bar). There's also a well made help in the app's menu.
Hello!
I think you all know these universal Widget creation tools like Zooper or UCCW. I have a question about these. I tried both but I find it extremely tiresome and ineffective to tap a widget together directly on the device. Is there no similar utility that has a Windows helper app where you can create the widget (align graphics, add gauges, etc) on the computer and then sideload it to the device?
It would be so much easier...
