My cousin has a Captivate thats acting up and hes going to exchange it, how do you flash the stock rom so he can return it and get a new one?
Look for the one-click Odin restore under the Captivate General forum.

I don't agree with the rudeness yes, but you are supposed to read the forum rules before you post

Its almost impossible to brick this phone....if u can get to recovery do a complete wipe and flash another rom ...if not use gtg unbrick in infuse super thread to go back to stock or one of the rooted Odin packages...

only uckk4 is corrupt. that's the one that dropped today. all the other leaks are working. look for uckk3, or better yet get the phone recovered with the stock package, get cwm, (I'd use the defuse kernel oneclick heimdall, quickest way to get cwm from stock) then flash caty rom or victory rom which will be rooted.

I have a small panic attack when I think of people flashing ROMs without knowing how to restore/unbrick. Especially leaks.

The newest kk4 is good. The one with UV in the title was corruption. Sampro corrected the next day.

only thing different between the two is ultimate unbrick is stock nonrooted ,odin is stock plus root they both use odin program
Best method.....Works Flawless.

Okay yea I figured there was any difference since they both used odin. Just wanted to double check before I did anything. I appreciate it.

THE ONLY ROM IN ROM MANAGER COMPATIBLE WITH INFUSE IS INFUSED V 2.2, AND NEVER FLASH IT FROM ROM MANAGER, DOWNLOAD IT AND FLASH IT FROM RECOVERY.....

If the screen turns on, you're not hardbricked, use one of gtg465x's unbrick packages.
