Looks like this is going to be the first into the android tab pool. Here's my question. Will the tablet have the gmail and calendar app installed on it? I was looking at an archos with android and it wasn't there. I'm hoping this can be a tethered companion to my nexus. Anyone know?

Hi,
Just wondering if its at all possible to control the Transformer from an Android phone, the Xperia X10 on 2.1 in my case? I ask because I now have Plex on my transformer and would love to have my phone as a remote control for the tablet so I can keep it near the TV on HDMI while I can pause, play etc in Plex? Would also be nice if you could control other things on the tablet but just controlling Plex would be nice at this stage.
Thanks.
My question will be different can we sync SMS from my phone to transformer?
I am also very interested in this sort of functionality, albeit for a different reason. I currently own a G2 and am planning on buying a transformer in the next few months. I want to be able to use my phone as a game controller for emulators or games running on the tablet. I am wondering if there's an app that can do this already, and if not I might be interested in trying my hand at developing one. Now don't get too exited though, as I'm still a beginner with app development, and it would more than likely take a while for me to figure out how to do it. But I guess this is doubling as an offer to any other app developers out there with more experience than me, if you want to work together on something then I'm more than willing to help
you can use textab on android market
I believe Blueput Droid can do this

I'll second Blueputdroid. Phone has to be rooted, but it works great for me on HTC Desire.
sorry ignore.
DroidMote Server/Client
Long time lurker first time poster. I had this question and on another post somewhere it was suggested to try DroidMote Server. I installed Droidmote server installed on TF and client installed on phone(Droid 1). I can control everything I need to and it has a built in mouse function with mouse cursor on your tablet. Im not sure specifically about the Xperia. You could try it and have a 15 minute window to return if it doesnt work or just contact the developer.
so im at the desperate stage of searching for answers. PLEASE HELP
basically i need either an app to add to my galaxy tab that will act like the nike+ app on the ipad.
I need to be able to view my runs and upload my runs/routes using my galaxy tab. Currently im using my ipod (has an attachment) to upload the runs via itunes.
is there a way i can plug in my ipod into my galaxy tab, upload the runs and view on an app (offline) and online.
There is the nike + running site, but that basically is a webbased show of the runs once theyve been uploaded/synced via itunes.
much appreciated guys

Hi All,
dont know if there is anything out there, but im looking for an app or something that displays ammo, health, etc when playing PC games on my Windpad 7 (Gingerbread).
i know Logitech use software called GamePanel to have it running on their G19 and G15 keyboards, it displays the above plus much more.
is there anything else remotely close to this???

I'm looking for the same thing. I can't even find any reference to anyone working on it.
About the closest I've come to something that "might work"(haven't attempted yet) is that apparently the logitech gamepanel has an "emulator" plugin that will allow you to display it on screen, and then there are a couple of paid apps to use your phone as a second monitor, so you could move the emulated gamepanel onto the phone screen.
if you've had any better luck I'd love to hear it. I wish there were more forums and things about what to do with spare android phones.
Hi there,
It arrived today and I was hopeful having owned the original. Aside from the lovely build and feel of it, I can't help but think that Tizen has ruined it a bit.
At the moment, I think its going back to Amazon, unless there's an easy way to do the following, and if anyone can pitch in, I'd be grateful:
Tasks/ToDos: I use Any.do which hasn't got any Tizen app/integration. Is there a good tasks app that syncs to an S5 and is usable like Any.do
Notes: I use Keep or Evernote and the lack of Evernote app is extremely disappointing, what am I going to use the camera with!? Is there anyway to use these services via an app? Or similar.
Maybe there's a way that this all just works with the built in Samsung apps on the S5 and I just haven't figured it out. Maybe the Gear Live was the better option...
No a good list/tasks app isn't there yet. There are many in the store, but all have issues i really don't like.
At the moment i use GearNotes and i created a note with my lists. So only viewing on the watch and not checkin the items.
I recently bought my dad a Samsung galaxy tab E so we can do video calls, as he lives far away. The problem is that he has no knowledge of technology,so I would like to be able to remotely access his tablet to help him install apps and updates or troubleshoot any problems that come up.what is the cheapest and easiest option for remote access of a tablet?
