req. P2000 alarming app - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

I'm looking for a P2000 Alarming app for Android.
I found out that there has to be some app called Alarming Droid but I can't download it from the market (so probably it's not compatible with the X10 mini).
But is there somebody who can adjust it to get it working on X10 mini (pro)?
Or somebody who can just upload the .apk fil for me?
I really need this app for my 'work' (photojournalist)...
Thanks in advance!

Alarmingdroid
If you are looking for the ALARMINGDROID you have to search it by developers name. The app is called alarmingdroid and it is made or produced by Gabri van Lee.
I did have the same problem, i could not find it by searching on the name of the app. By the way, app's for android's should all be compatible.
This app works perfectly on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
Good luck.

HTC Sense Stock app/widget?

Hi all,
When I was using Android 1.5, I used to use the HTC Stock app and widget a lot. But since moving to 2.1 a week ago, I have not yet been able to find a replacement I tried few apps from the market but nothing feels quite right. Why isn't the HTC Stock app in the 2.1 Sense roms anyway?
So does anyone know whether I can get the HTC Stock app and widget back? Perhaps from an APK.
Alternatively, can anyone recommend a widget from the Market (free or paid) that I can have lots of shares displayed at once?
Thanks.
The stock app is included in 2.1 as long as you're running a Sense rom. If it's not there the developer probably just removed it from the rom to save space. I can't help you out with the APK but it shouldn't be too hard to find on here.
Ah I see! I'll ask the developers. Thanks.
So, have you found it? I'd like to try it too, if you have.
Unfortunately not!
I've been googling up and down and searching on here, Modaco, Vaillain, etc, but still haven't found it.
A bit off topic of the original post...but the thread title works and I didn't think a whole new thread was necessary.
So here's my question;
Is anyone else experiencing problems with the HTC Sense Stocks application in that the 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, and 2Y graphs are not showing the correct data. Only the 1D and 5D charts work.
I'm not sure at what point this problem occurred...cause I know it use to work. Just curious whether it was something I did to my device (flashing a custom ROM), or whether others are seeing the same problem...in which case this would suggest there is something wrong with the servers from which the application downloads the charts from.
Yes, I'm seeing the same problem. I haven't done anything to my phone yet, so I doubt it's a problem with the phone...
If you tell me where the app is ill gladly upload it

Hi,
a few weeks ago, i changed from WinMo to Android. Now I am a proud owner of a galaxy...
Unfortunatly, the galaxy comes without sense. So I am missing the Stocks widget, too. The good thing on that app is that it uses yahoo! finance as data source. Yahoo! finance offers more markets than Google Finance does. Yahoo Finance has an app for Android. But if I am looking for it in the market, it's not available. But it's available on appbrain...
Here is the link: http://www.appbrain.com/app/yahoo-finance/com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.finance
And this is the link for Yahoo! Finance for Android: http://mobile.yahoo.com/finance/android
I would be glad, if someone get's this to work and could upload the *.apk

P.S.
Excuse my poor English
I also could not find Yahoo Finance in the market.
I managed to install Yahoo Fianance from the following link:
http://www.getjar.com/mobile/36281/yahoo!-finance-for-htc-hero/
However, when I opened the app, it just open up the browser linking to mobile yahoo finance site.
Not too sure how to get it working properly as an app.
hi.
get "market enabler", fake a provider in the u.s. and you'll find yahoo finance in the market.
as an alternative i can recommend "stock watcher". has a great ui and offers some widgets.
have fun!

PingChat! - How do you use smilies?

I was told about an app called PingChat! yesterday from a friend using an iPhone. So I downloaded it for my Xperia X10 Android phone. Whilst it works fine, I cannot find any way to send picture smilies? I've been looking on their website, all over the net and yet I can't seem to find the answer.
I found an app that is meant to give you smilies, so I wrote my message in that and copy and pasted it into the PingChat! app and I just had a load of misunderstood characters (squares)
Am I missing something really stupid here? As some might know, the X10 is running 1.6 firmware, so this could possibly be the problem if all else fails.

Stock 2.1 Calendar and Email Apps

Hey guys,
Is there any possible way to get the stock 2.1 calendar and email apps with the exchange sync onto our rooted 2.1 x10's.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Bump!!
Would really love a reply if anyone knows.
you can try this
h**p://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826849
Hey. Thanks for your reply. The APKs in that folder are the ones that came with the X10 version of 2.1. What Im after is the apps that come on the standard 2.1. Sony Ericsson removed the ones with the Native Exchange Sync functionality.

Dylan

Even I have heard that the native Exchange app for 2.1 is not as good as moxier but I still would like to try it. Could you please update us if you found it>? I am looking as well. Probably someone from Nexus one should have it.
I have found a number of 2.1 Email and Calendar apk's. Its installing them thats the problem. I either dont have an option or get a parsing error. If someone can assist in this that would be great.
I have attached some of the apks for your reference.
I yet to find a solution for this. 2.1 exchange had problem with wipeing but it was fixed at some points but no trace of any solution of instaling.

[Q] Bump similar app

Hi,
Nowadays most people have internet flatrates even for their mobile phones.
But what about people who don´t have internet flatrates? Thats why I start this topic.....
Bump (or Hoccer) is a nice app to easily share your contact ,!!APPS!!, what so ever....
The bad thing: both need internet connection....
[Q]: Why do they need internet connection? Is it because apps are not really pushed to the other phone? Instead the other phone got the link to the app in the market?
[Q] Applications like ES Explorer are able to package apps back to apk... the could be transfered. It is my current workaround, but it is not that simple it might be - and should be.
I searched for an app with my requirements... and didn´t found one.
An app that can transfer easily whatever you want! (apps musik, whatever an file explorer could find) of course it should have some standard functions like transfer contacts..... and apps!
So other questions are:
- How difficult would it be to programm such an app? Any good tutorials out there?
- A friend of mine built an app with google´s "lego system" and also established with it a blutooth connection. It is not that difficult and google did a great job with the API
- If noone wants to program such an app, I would try it. Im not an expert, no experience with android at all. But Im willing to learn....
- What the "best" developer environment? Eclipse? Any recommended tools?
Many questions... I hope we all could help each other?

official pga tour app

can anyone post the apk for this?
ya, im looking too. Or isn´t it even possible on my xperia x10 mini pro?
You can't download from the market?
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.tour.pgatour&feature=search_result
But since Google (and the app) is free and this took all of 3 seconds:
http://www.androidzoom.com/android_applications/sports/pga-tour_ucra.html
Thx 4 your reply but i saw all this pages before and NOTHING worked for my xperia x10 min pro. I wasn´t allowed to download anything. I guess this app won´t work on my device. Isn´t there a similar app?
