I have an MDA Compact V (Uk Tmobile). Whenever I turn the screen on ,it shows the last screen I was looking at then I turned the screen off. This I believe is the default and expected behaviour.
However, when I am using TOMTOM and I turn the screen off, the phone always reverts to to the home screen and not back to the TOMTOM screen. This is a pain when I am driving and turn the thing off and on, on long journeys.
Is there are simple fix for this?
Thanks in advance
anyone got any ideas?
Hi all,
One of biggest pet peeves about windows mobile both 6.1 & 6.5 is that when you put the screen horizontal via the software and then the device goes to sleep, when it awakens it goes back into vertical mode.
This is even the case for my touch pro which has Gyrator installed. The phone rotates sideways when its on my dashboard holder, but once it goes off and then I turn it on again, it goes back into vertical mode.
Is there anyway to lock horizontal mode when the phone reawakens?
bump bump bump
I've been searching the raphael forum for a solution and haven't come across anybody who has experienced this problem let alone how to fix it. When I restart my Fuze or load a new rom the device defaults to landscape mode and has to be manually set to portrait. When I slide open the keyboard the screen stays the same. The keyboard is another issue. The backlight doesn't come on and the keys are unresponsive. When I boot into Android the Screen defaults to landscape and the keyboard backlights turn on (and never turn off) but the keys are still inactive. Does anyone know a solution?
Facing a very strange problem on my device. Sometimes - often, but not always - the top left edge of my screen looses senbility. Though I touch, it does not accept the command. If I turn the screen sideways the site on the screen become irresponsive and the former area magically starts to respond. And this behavior goes away the same way it appears.
Already tried to force gpu rendering and deactivate HW on developers options, turn of on screen buttons and deactivate adaptative brightness. So far, no answer.
Any clue?
Thanks!
When I make a call and hold the device to my ear, the screen goes off. And that's fine. But when I remove the device from my ear, the screen is still black. I say goodbye to the caller, and to interrupt the conversation I have to press the power button or double tapp screen to wake the screen. Is there any option to wake the screen more actively?
The same problem here....
I hope they will fix this in future updates. My friend dont have this problem. On other forum some guy told me that i need move phone and i will get phone wake up. On my other phone (s9+) i dont have this problem. This problem have many s10 series phone. I read that the problem is because proximity sensor position. And AOD dont turn off when is phone in a pocket or screen down wich use more battery.
I tried old good wipe cache in recovery and...it's good, problem is gone.
Try it too!
I try. It didn't help
Same problem as well, it doesn't happen always but often enough to annoy me...
yeah, same problem here man
same problem.. if you turn your phone upside down it will get the movement and show the screen but don't think this is actually a good workaround! does anyone know if there is something to do for it?
