Music making software

I am new to this forum so please forgive me if i make any mistakes.
My main interest is in music and am therefore looking for recording and music-making software.
I have looked at Syntrax, Griff, Mixtikl and Meteor but so far am not impressed with any of them so was wondering if anyone was in the process of developing something new. I am not a programmer myself but do have a few ideas which as far as I can tell, have not yet been implemented in any windows mobile 6 apps.
One idea is for a low latency multi-track recorder that can use either bluetooth or wifi as an audio input, thereby enabling your phone to become a true multi-track recording device. The idea doesn't stop there, so if anyone is interested in hearing what else I have to say, feel free to contact me and we can discuss what is possible. I can't code such things, so would be very willing to collaborate with someone who can.
Anyway, that's it for now.
Hope to hear a reply soon!
If your interrested
Peace this Meezzofficial! I make music myself, and I'm currently on my 6 song. But as far as music software goes....I would suggest Fruity Loop. Music Maker. and Accoustica. To Meezz personally these are heavy hitters. But Fruity Loops first and hi me back!
Meezz!!
I think i've gone beyond the programmes you've suggested by quite a long margin which is why I would like to see something a bit more serious for windows mobile.
Hello everybody.
I'm a musician too and I'm thinking about some kind of musical notepad using piano roll view so you can tap any of keys on the edge of the screen to hear the notes which will be helpfull to develop the melody by ear, and then put blocks on piano roll to be able to set rhythm values and play whole thing.
Maybe I could try to write something like it but I am not serious programmer so it might take me a lot od time and effort
I think that multi-track recording on PDA is not reliable idea because it need good cpu and some serious audio card with high signal-to-noise ratio.

Samsung focus Sound quality

Just want to know how its the sound quality on Samsung focus while playing audio and video?
Does it have audio effects or equalizers?
And what is a zune pass? Is it relevant for people in India?
If you are talking about the speaker on the phone the audio is about standard for a smartphone. It's fine for basic audio like podcasts but music isn't going to sound very good on it. I don't think there are any available sound effects or equalizers. I think HTC has that.
Zune Pass is a music subscription service that gives you access to almost the entire Zune library. You can keep 10 songs per month and streaming is unlimited. I don't know if it's available in india.

Will mango bring any of these equalizers at audio effects?
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk
Mango alone won't. OEM's have to add it.
I ordered an AT&T unlocked focus on 16th September in India. Have yet to receive it. While doing purchase, I was impressed by 4'' super amoled screen, One GHz processor, 720p camera recording
and the lure of coming mango update. With such good hardware and upcoming holy grail of windows phone 7 i.e. mango, I took it for granted that audio equalizers and some audio effects would be there as windows media player has these features.
On my current optimus one Android 2.3 phone, I enjoy the audio equalizers and effects immensely. Specially I like the ability of bass boost and the thump it gives. It helps me in completing my one hour body exercise at home.
I think I will just have to keep my fingers crossed. May be mango will have this ability natively or the code to support it so that any developer develops an application for it.
Let's wait and watch!

Audio Latency in Newer Versions of Android

Has anyone read/heard any rumours/leaks about audio latency in Key Lime Pie? Because it's not very good right now and there are more music geeks like me than you think who really want Android t have better audio latency. I mean, look at the current status of music creation on Android:
There aren't many high quality apps for making music on Android, FL studio is taking forever to be ported (even the developers admit it) because of latency issues, cubasis for android isn't even on Steinberg's map, and the only REAL DAW on the play store is Caustic.
I really want to know if they fixed it, because a lot of us are really p*ssed off.

Binaural 3D sound recorder app using 2 devices as mic.

Hi,
I have been using xda forum for long but wanted to share my own app(s) now. I completed my binaural audio recorder in January 2016 and published on PlayStore.
Many of us might have listened to some kind of 3d sounds like virtual hair cut etc. Without using expensive hardware anyone can record binaural 3d sounds using 2 android devices. It uses 2 devices as left right ears and mixes to build final output. Features -
- Connect 2 devices using Bluetooth or wifi and control both phones to start and stop recording.
- With wireless connection pressing start and stop affects both devices. Means operate with only one device!
- Records at 44.1KHz 16Bit OGG by default
- Limit of recording is decided by battery and disk space.
- Handles most of tasks automatic.
- Tested on Moto-G, Redmi phones, Yu Yunique, Samsung Galaxy 3 Mini. However due to hardware fragmentation it might fail to work on some devices.
Its an ad-supported freeware in nearly a beta stage due to wifi connectivity operations. Due to no access to universal time source the 2 recorded audio are many times out of sync means some sound plays earlier on a device. This can be calibrated using mixing panel.
I am working on many projects and suffering app discovery problem making almost no downloads of my apps.
Since i am not allowed to post links i am posting how to download. My app can be searched on play store by GamesGreh Binaural 3D Audio recorder or visiting ourinnovativemind dot in or gamesgreh dot in.
Anyone interested in 3d audio please take a look at this app and do let me know any problems you get.
Found this app while searching binaural recording on Android. I downloaded it on two phones but I can't get it to work. Did you give up on it?
Hi,
I stopped working on this project after 2-3 months as i started my other projects. This project required extremely precise timing sync between devices. Due to delay in communication the binaural effect used to fail and it required user intervention for shifting audio channels to get better binaural output.
I use my phonw which has 2 microphone at opposite ends and records stereo +(kind of binaural). I think using hardware is the best way to record binaural. Actually real 3D is not possible by 2 earphones until full research is done how 3d perception in achieved by mind. There is role of other body parts also in 3d. Not just ear passage.
