I've installed TomTom on my xdaII, but I've a lot of problem using it!To move up an down in menus I have to use volume slide, But it's very imprecise.
Then sometimes I should press red and green button, but they execute calls even if tom tom is on the screen!
Any idea on how to do?
thanks,
Alessio
Where in tomtom is the red/green button used?
they aren't in tomtom. Simply tomtom associates some functions to the hardware red or green button of xda (the ones at the bottom of the screen).

You say that in TomTom calls are associated to the red/green buttons?
In all programs calls are associated to the red/green buttons, it cannot be changed (well not easily).
It is supposed to be this way, the red and green buttons are to do with the phone - nothing else, Tom Tom wont and cant change that.
I know this. But when I use TomTom it runs in full screen mode.I have no way to inte face with the program by touch screen, is it normal?
In the bottom part of the screen there are some commands, one on the left and one on the right.I can't use touch screen, so I think the only way to execute that commands is to press red and green button that are below those command.Isn't it?
No, Tom Tom doesnt use the red/green buttons at all, they are to be clicked on.
You can turn off the full screen mode in the properties section of Tom Tom, but I must admit I use it in full screen mode, when a call comes in I answer it as normal (press the green button) and when finished press the red button. Then I just click the X in the phone app and Tom Tom comes back to the front again - and away I go.
Thankyou!Just an other question: when you are in full screen modo, how can you give commands to TomTom if touch screen doesn't work?

Hello,
My s710 keyboard is in bad shape. What I`m saying is that all the grey shinny color in the "end" and "answer" buttons is gone, and also these keys are broken near the light sensor (the part of the button, transparent, on top of the sensors that connects this buttons). So the buttons are now independent, if you know what I mean.
I am planning to buy this keyboard (the one for spv e650 because I like it more) and install it myself: http://cnn.cn/shop/orange-e650-black-keypad-p-3455.html
But the part is that I don`t know how, any ideas or tuts on how to replace my numeric keyboard?
Thanks!
I found the service manual, I`ll try to follow the indications there.
Wait! I bought the exact same keypad and you can't install it .. Its not the same as the one you have .. The e650 keys misses some small flips that will bound the keys to the pcb.. And then theres another problem.. The Keypad and the keypad pcb is connected with somekind of glue and its extremely difficult to do this yourself.. Believe me i have tried it and i gave up.. I ended up buying a device with broken screen and replaced the screen on that device with my own lcd instead as that is much easier..
Thanks for the reply! So I`d better go to a htc authorized service.
hello people. im currently using a dialer with black keys on my phone but was wondering if theres a dialer out there with red keys.........
I did search about it and I found no results, so here I am begging for your help.
I am running a GTX ROM and it is perfect, except that the chef that cooked in the ROM the keypad where you enter your PIN number having almost black numeric keys and with black numbers, so you have to guess which button is what number, because you are not able to read the numbers at all.
I wonder if any of you have a cab of the original PIN keypad, or if somebody will kind enough to teach me how I can edit the skin of that keypad.
Thanks,
Sorin
Hi,
I have noticed something strange in Mango on my Titan, just when I wanted to reply on an email. I was typing (black letters on the white background in the mail app) and suddenly I saw some strange shadow of the keyboard in the mail I was typing. When I press, let's say the Enter button, I can see the shadow of the Enter button a few inches above the keyboard itself as well. It's hard to explain, but I think it has something to do with the lcd itself. I was wondering if anyone noticed this as well?
