Fantastic, with all other keypads I had to select xt9 each time I tried to type. English and Portuguese only, but works great. Thanks Dekonass.
Lifesaver dekonass, lost almost a day searching the forum for a way to add portuguese language to the Touch Keyboard.
Cheers!

Is there any Android (TMN's HTC Magic, CyanogenMod 4.2.8) version of this baby?
HTC_IME with Portuguese XT9.. that would be so damn perfect!! HTC has a Portuguese rom (link in TMN's virtual store), but it doesn't allow to extract, only to re-flash the device.. I don't know if in that ROM there is Portuguese XT9, but I assume there is..

Hi
I've given my TyTN II (WWE version, qwerty keyboard) to my brother who wanted a French ROM.
So I flashed M2d_fr ROM ... Now the hardware keyboard is azerty...
Is there a way to change the keyboard back to the original qwerty, while keeping the french ROM ?
Thanks in advance

Damn complicated !
I started to follow those instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344051
That is, creating a CWSLayout key in the registry and a CurLang one.
However, it doesn't seem to work as advertised.
If CWSLayout is exists and is not zero, then the keyboard will be in ASCII ; but it's the TILT layout (different Fn shortcuts than the WWE version)
Change registry
Change registry as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/KEYBD/CurLang to 1033 (decimal DWORD data); then you need to soft reset
your hardware keyboard will now be mapped to universal english qwerty

Hi...
This is the value I had tried earlier (it's in the link I provided) and it doesn't work.. it stays as AZERTY
you must soft reset

I reflashed the TyTN II with HTC official French ROM, that registry mod doesn't work on it either

Querty-Keyboard issue

Dear all
I hope you can help me with this issue as I was unable to find any hint via search and google.
I have purchased the Raphael with a QUERTY slider Keyboard and flashed the ROM to the latest available german ROM. The Keyboard layout has changed to QUERTZ and I can't fix this issue with the advanced configuration tool. I would like to have the QUERTY layout on the german ROM...
Please help!
Thank you and kind regards

[Q] HTC keyboard qwerty to azerty ?

Hello all ! First thanks to the community and devs for your job
I installed the virtuous 1.4 rom with sense on my one S but the keyboard is only qwerty, I can't change but I have try to take HTC_IME.apk and IMEXT9French.apk from my stock HTC rom and put in .zip of the virtuous (in system/app) and flash like this but without succes, the keyboard doesn't works with this method.
I saw there are .odex files too on stock rom, like HTC_IME.odex and IMEXT9French.odex, so I have try to add these files too but fail too...
Anyone knows how can i have my french azerty keyboard again please ?
It's the only thing I think that's wrong in this rom (for me)
I know there are a lot of keyboards on market but i like htc keyboard
