I hope you can help me with this issue as I was unable to find any hint via search and google.
I have purchased the Raphael with a QUERTY slider Keyboard and flashed the ROM to the latest available german ROM. The Keyboard layout has changed to QUERTZ and I can't fix this issue with the advanced configuration tool. I would like to have the QUERTY layout on the german ROM...
Please help!

hello, i have upgrade my "prophet" with the (ROM AKU3.3.07.ASERG US) and is work good, can you say me if is possible to change the keyboard in french "AZERTY" ? i try to change value in the register "0409 to 040c" but not work, may be you have a key map ".cab" to correct this ?

try and use 3rd party app. like Resco Keyboard. (which is included in ASerg's AKU3.3.12/13 ROM btw.)

I've given my TyTN II (WWE version, qwerty keyboard) to my brother who wanted a French ROM.
So I flashed M2d_fr ROM ... Now the hardware keyboard is azerty...
Is there a way to change the keyboard back to the original qwerty, while keeping the french ROM ?

Damn complicated !
I started to follow those instructions:

That is, creating a CWSLayout key in the registry and a CurLang one.
However, it doesn't seem to work as advertised.
If CWSLayout is exists and is not zero, then the keyboard will be in ASCII ; but it's the TILT layout (different Fn shortcuts than the WWE version)
Change registry
Change registry as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/KEYBD/CurLang to 1033 (decimal DWORD data); then you need to soft reset
your hardware keyboard will now be mapped to universal english qwerty

This is the value I had tried earlier (it's in the link I provided) and it doesn't work.. it stays as AZERTY

I reflashed the TyTN II with HTC official French ROM, that registry mod doesn't work on it either

yes, you just need to load the IME from your original rom. link me to the original rom (find it on the wiki/search or ask if you can't find it) and i'll make a .cab of the IME package for you.
hi, i have same problem, after elite rc2 installation:
- the hardware keyboard changed to xxxxxx layout.
- i want to install Russian + English.

my windows mobile was in french and the querty keyboard in french to
i made it in english but the querty keyboard is not the same, can i do something, not to change keyboard but put a software and keep in english?
