Im rooted running cyanogen 6 RC2. Anybody else have a lot of force closes after you unlock? If so any suggestions to repair it. Thanks
I had lots of problems. Like no loading Widgets etc. Everything fixed on CM6.RC3. Now works flawlessly.

Wipe everything and install new cm rc3.

I had constant FCs on RC3 after I did a LP backup restore. I then reinstalled LP completely, restored the backup again, and all was fine

Hello, I'm quite new to this, but i sucessfully rooted and installed cyanogenmod built 26 + google apps. It worked perfectly but after a short while, when I tried to open the Android Market, It says it is loading than crashes or whatever and goes back to homescreen. It sent out no error messages.
I tried reinstalling google apps, both gb and hdpi, upgrade cyanogenmod to built 27, and restoring market app to working version using Titanium Backup. They all couldn't fix the problem.
I than restore the kernel itself to stock using clockwork recovery, than the market did work.
Is there any way to fix this market issue on cyanogenmod? Or is it different issue related to Android Market?
Thanks for helping out this newbie!
I was having similar issues with CM7 so I just gave up on it until it they have a release candidate and not just nightlies.
Okay thank you for the info
I think I'll stay with the stock kernel or some other stable rom.
btw, how does the nightly build cyanogen mods work? Like why is it every night, whats the difference of every built, when will the stable version comes out?
Thanks
I have CM 6.1.1 and I have the same problem with market app.
I tried restoring the market app I was using before i flashed to CM6.1.1 but market app crashes, it opens up and the home screen is displayed again.
I tried downloading the market app apk and installing it but I faced the same problem again. Anyone have any idea how to go about this?

you just bumped a months old thread.
you're using CM 6.1.1, this is discontinued -- you're probably trying to use new markets on 2.2
its also pretty obvious that you don't have a Nexus S either :\
I can't seem to find any roms that fix the Cm7 no GPS issue.
I tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250226
after I installed it onto my Inspire, my phone just white screened. I uninstalled and recovered from my back up.
It's not a major thing to have GPS, it's just easier when getting directions in L.A.
Does anyone have the ROM everyone else seems to use? Whenever I find an old thread that links to it, the link is dead.
Thanks.

Are you using a stable rom or nightly? Which version of CM7 and did you get it from the cyanogenmod website? Did any other rom (including stock) have issues with GPS?
Perhaps downloading the rom again and installing it might do the trick.
Have you tried installing the GPS audio fix file for inspire.it worked for me.Also you should try cm9.it's working very well for me.
Inspire 4G CM9
I have been using this, and it seem to work for me with any ROM.

I am using a stable rom. I used the once ace hack toolkit and then downloading CM7 from their website.
Thanks for the QR code!!! I am trying it right now.
Thank you so much for that QR code!!! Rebooted and installed easy peasy. Now works faster than ever!
ROM update
When you flash an update to your existing ROM, do you have to do a wipe again?

've been using liquidsmooth for d2usc for about a month now and it's been smooth and stable until yesterday. I'm dropping frames very badly and it will reboot when I open certain apps. I've even overclocked it to the max to try and fix the problem but that doesn't help. I have to reboot into cwm recovery and wipe cache and it will run smoothly for a couple of hours and then start acting up again. Please help. I don't know what's wrong.!

I was having similar problems with the 2.3 release on my d2vzw. Very laggy and over heating also. I went back to 2.2 where i had the best results.
I havent tried the 2.4 release yet because i have been flashing different roms.
You could try updating the Rom if you havent already
Hi. I'm experiencing a problem with the GPS on liquidsmooth 2.5. Starting any application using the GPS(google maps, camera with location tags enabled) causes the phone to reboot. I haven't seen any fix for that problem on the liquidsmooth thread(although others mentioned the same problem), and I've already tried a full wipe and reflashing the ROM.
Thanks for any help!

I've experienced the same issue. With 2.4, it was the launcher (nova). With 2.5, it's definitely gps. Had to nandroid back to a more stable rom.

Hi community!
First of all, I want to thank Timduru. I'm using a fresh install of v19 stable of your rom on my TF101 and it is working great.
However, I have one small issue that bothers me:
With Nova Launcher as my default, from time to time all of my widgets on the homescreen are gone after booting. There is just a grey box as placeholder, and I have to tap it to restore the widget. (Like if you using a backup of a launcher and the widgets could not be restored)
This happened a couple of times now, but not after every boot. I was not able to reproduce this behavior.
Any clues what I could do?
Thanks.

I know
But am a bit afraid of updating ... cause beside the widgets, everything is working great. *Never change a running system*
Maybe I take the risk ... thanks anyhow!
23 is the best so far - no point trying to troubleshoot an old build, new builds are released to fix old problems
Make a Nandroid backup first, then you can always go back if you want to, but 23 is by far the best
Ok, you got me.
I have just flashed it and it seams to work fine. Hopefully my widget problems are gone now, too.
Thanks for your help.
Update: After testing a couple of days with version #23c of the rom, my problem is still there :crying:
Still with Nova Launcher my widgets disappear after startup from time to time. Everythin else is working great, so my guess is, that it has something to do with the launcher.
Anyone else is using nova or has similar problems?
