Looking for a Google Voice widget similar to the messaging widget that HTC makes. Anyone know of one or want to udertake this project? I think it would be a hit personally, being able to see all you voicemails - scrollable - from a home screen widget!

hey, is there a widget for the Handcent SMS ?
thanks from TheTmac
Yes.
Regards,
Rudi
where can i find it ?
i mean a widget like the one which comes with the phone when you buy it.. that's one thing i miss with the handcent sms.. (HTC Legend)
Handcent Widget Included
The widget is bundled with the application itself.
Having installed it, simply look for the widget (long press desktop, you know )
However, all it does is displaying the number of unread messages.
yea i know that one..
but i wanted a widget which is like the one which comes with the phone..

Pure is the best bet for something that looks like that.
You can set Handcent to display a popup that looks very much like the 'widget' you linked to.
MyWidgets.
i believe there is a widget that is called puremessenger, that shows email, sms, and i believe facebook all in one widget..look it up..but you have to pay for it..
It's called "Pure messenger widget" by Fancois DESLANDES.
and if you have home++ for home, it's a scrollable.
Hi guys,
I just got froyo on my desire, so no htc sense for me, which is not such an issue as i didn't really use any of the htc sense stuff, except people widget. Now, I can't seem to find a similar replacement on the market.
Does anyone know of a simple people widget that works the same way as the htc one?
Cheers
you wont find anything as pretty as the sense widgets but if your looking just for the function try contacts sidebar it works for me
i just tried contacts sidebar, and its good but it only has 4 contacts. Does anyone know of a widget where I can choose a "group" of contacts such as "favorites (starred)" and it shows them in a list. I don't really care if the contacts are scrollable like the htc people widget, as long as I can show more than 4 and i can scroll through them with an arrow or something like that.
Also, it would be nice if i can just choose the starred contacts and not have to select contacts manually.

People/contact widget. Type Sagrebin in the marketplace. They have a free trial and a paid widgets. Exact copy
actually i found this app called speeddialer. pretty much everything i was looking for. its a 1x4 widget and you can add as many contacts as you like. only downside is that it will ONLY do the default action for that contact, which is more than good enough for me right now
thanks all for your replies.
Does anyone know a good Pcture Dial widget similar to the one in the Sense UI that has Facebook and Exchange integration?
The Samsung widget, "Buddies Now" is okay.
Thanks for the info but I'm using Launcher Pro so that's not an option. Any other ideas?
I need app with favorite Contacts widget with picture of contact and with quick bar( quick bar with option to call, send sms, send email, open contact...) bat it is important to work on HTC Sense launcher. I use HTC Gratia with 2.2
I find menu contact widget app which work on some another launcher like ADW, Launcherpro, GOlauncher... bat I dont find it that can work on HTC Sense launcher
If someone know app widget please tell me.
Colorize Widget?
Is there anyway (without rooting) to change the native calendar app on this device from S Planner to Google Calendar? I can add the damn widget to my home screen but it is a very disappointing misdirection to S-Planner when you click on it.
Your post intrigues me. I can find neither a Google Calendar app, nor a Google Calendar widget. Please share your source.
toenail_flicker;3184our post intrigues me. I can find neither a Google Calendar app said:
The native calendar widget appears, in facade at the very least to look like the Google calendar widget.
Click to collapse
you can try Android 4.1 Jellybean Calendar from the market... its widget (and the app) is stock android as far as i can tell and will take you to the stock calendar app on touching.
the reason i swapped s planner with this app is because of the way s planner widget shows full day events. i liked full day events to take up only a thin bar instead of the s planner way of showing full details... this app does that for you too.
As of recently there is now an Official Google calendar app.
By default, at least on my note, the widgets are all from S-planner in anycase so definitely it would open S-planner.
What you could do is install Google calendar set it as default in settings and disable S-planner altogether in the app settings. Although i dont see a widget for calendar on my tab
