Does anyone know how to get WM 6.5 on an HTC Wing? My friend just found his in his drawer and I want to pimp it out.

Well searching this section and in the Legacy devices> HTC herald (I think) Wing. There are FAQ's and How To's I had a Wizard which was very similar to the Wing and had many different custom ROM's on it. So yes, it is possible. How-to do it you should read a little bit.

XDA Trion is a badged HTC Hermes. You probably knoew that.
It might only be possible to use it if it's cooked into a ROM. Go to the Hermes WM6 forum and look in there.
I know of dermann's 6.5 theme, but are there any others out there?
I may have overlooked them, but its kinda hard searching since there is no blackjack thread here... and most of the other sites arent really active...

I am thinking about upgrading to 6.5 from 6.1. I have look at many of the roms posted but don't really know which one I should select. I really want just a pretty basic one that is reliable. Anyone have any insight?

There are is no official 6.5 rom for the Tilt. Therefore the only available 6.5 roms are custom roms and are all "beta " roms. Read the rom descriptions and read ...read .. read the threads and see what people are saying about the rom.
Most 6.5 chefs prefer to make there roms " cutting edge ". Why waste your time cooking something that is safe and middle of the road. M$ can do that ( can you say boring ? ) Why do you want 6.5 ? If that's all you want is basic and stable , stick with 6.1 There are plenty of great 6.1 roms. If you want your friends to "....ooh and ....ahh " over your new pushed to the limit 6.5 rom then be prepared for a little beta testing and bug chasing. But not much , our Kaiser 6.5 chefs have it down.
I am the recent owner of a Verizon HTC Imagio.
It is running WM 6.5 Build 21849.
From what I've been reading on the web, there are much newer ROMs available with better features (such as the ability to re-arrange home screen icons).
I search around on here but I couldn't find any downloads for the Imagio.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

There are no ROMs for the Imagio yet. Please check out the Whitestone section of XDA and the Imagio forum on PPCGeeks.
