Games/Applications that you're running on Touch Pro

Just thought it would be interesting to see which products you are running on your Touch Pro and how you are finding it?
UI
TouchFlo 3d - works fine am prepared to wait for later ROM releases for speed increases.
SPB Mobile Shell 2.1.1 - running in background for better navigation to all programs/games.
Apps
Resco Explorer 2008 v7.03
SPB Weather 1.7.4 Trial - though not liking it as much as the TouchFlo 3d version.
Google Maps updated to 2.2.0.16 (www.google.com/gmm in IE on your phone)
AvantGo - been using this for years great offline news service.
Games
SPB AirIslands Trial - not played
Resco Sodoku Touch v1 - nice Sodoku game
SPB Brain Evolution Trial - nice set of simple games to while away a train journey.
Tested Apps/Games
Winterface 1.1.1 - like the Unlock Slider, but preferred the current set-up otherwise.
TouchCommander - found it buggy and not as good as SPM Mobile Shell.
SPB Pocket Plus - superseded by Mobile Shell.
What games/apps do you have running and should I maybe try and purchase if that great??
I like the TouchFlo 3d Music and Picture Apps, is there anything else I should try that could remove this from my UI?
Hey guys... First time with a hardware keyboard. Could anyone reccommend any good game or emulator that works with the keyboard on Touch Pro?

You have to try snails!
It's like worms (for those who remember the old worms 2), but with snails instead. Can be played on 1 machine by many users (so it allows to have fun with friends) and brings back a lot of good childhood memories

hi marios96, try frotzce or pocketfrotz with all the various interactive fiction files (hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, zork etc.). if you are bored with that you can try the nethack port. if you are bored with that you can install pocketconsole and pocketcmd and compile all those unix console games (mastermind, hangman etc).

Stable simple friendly offline map with GPS

I have looked through countless threads and tried many different setups. I am yet to find a nice looking and simple to use GPS program with offline maps.
What are people using since im going to Japan and want all of Tokyo and Yokohama maps on my phone and activate my GPS (which is free) to help me out.
Look at this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=581474
With this you can download Openstreetmaps or you can also integrate a own Map-Source.
Maybe try GPS trackmaker
Long before my cellphone had a GPS I was using the freeware version of GPS Trackmaker with my Garmin. Not sure if it will do what you're looking for though.

Moved as not software release.
take the Navicomputer! Great app! If you download an older version, a better map downloader (.exe) for the PC is included (supports Google Maps)

Golf Course Maps on HD2 using GPS ???

hi, the Ipod has an app for golf courses so you cna use the GPS to measure how far away you are from greens etc, does anyone know if the HD2 has a simliar app ??
Theres a few. One here if you search for Golf gps. Then there's Freecaddie which I use because it has free version and I upgraded for cheap. Lastly, theres one from GolfLogix GPS which has an annual fee, but much more user friendly and doesnt rely on users to keep courses updated.
I couldn't get GolfLogix to work on my HD2.
See this thread: http ://forum.xda-developers . com/ showthread.php?t=689114
i use freecaddie for several years now and it's pretty good. i'm just disappointed that the ui hasn't been improved to make it more user friendly. its versions for iphone and android are a lot better. i don't know why this is so since it started as a windows mobile app.
Use Wegolf (and JavaFX). It works very well, and you can map your own courses.
dump question, Do i need the data plan (internet) to use those Golf GPS?
Here's one that's not been mentioned: http://www.gudensoft.com/golfgps/

[Q] Best free Mapdroyd alternative ?

Dear Windows phone users, what is the best free Mapdroyd-like alternative available for windows phone 7.5 ?? Basically i need a free app that provides offline maps and a tracking feature exactly like mapdroyd for androyd.....
Jawad
Anyone ?...........
I'm using Nokia Drive, which has offline map, but no tracking. There is also Navigon but for some reason I wasn't able to install that on my phone. Both are navigation apps, no tracking.
