there's one doing the rounds extracted from the tg01 which uses hardware acceleration. not legit though as its only licensed for use with the Toshiba
To be honest, have tried the Acer/TG01 versions of Coreplayer and in my test it's rubbish, mild increase on some file formats, normal version 1.36 of Coreplayer easily outperforms the supposed Hardware accelerated versions and these so called HW accelerated versions were unstable.
1-Resco explorer 2010 - It is very user friendly with a lot of function file explorer for HD2
2-Torchbutton - It is very usefull small program to enable led flash as a torch, you can add this to your program tab or assign as a button!
3-resco photo viewer 7.03 (multitouch support) - multitouch support and editing support software for viewing and editing pictures
4-googlemaps - ???!!! no need to explain
5-hicalculator - the best calculator for HD2 in my opinion with many (i really mean MANY) functions...
6-xdashutdown - for soft reset
7-coreplayer for snapdragon - for playing video and audio files support many formats!
8-spb wireless monitor - for measuring how many kilobytes or megabytes you use with your data, usb and wifi connection!
9-midomi 2.3(though it doesn't work correctly but i have to work on it) - just search then you will get what this is, it used for music recognition
10-foxit reader (for viewing pdf files and it is quicker than adobe reader )
and of course for those who are frustrated from htc messaging VITO SMSChat + registry hack(in order to make vito, the default sms application)
A small discruiption along with the app would me nice

Yep, HTC Album outperforms it as well, much smoother and better quality with correctly encoded videos.
I still use the retail 1.36 for music and standard dvd/tv rips.

Coreplayer for SnapDragon
Can any kind souls provide the link to this Coreplayer for SnapDragon please?
Or at least point me in the right direction by giving the correct filename?
TIA.
Morphgear, FPSEce, Resco Explorer, CorePlayer, Pocket Player, allReader, Opera, Pigeon!, Twitter tab , google maps, rss hub, youtube application, xdaShutdown.
Very cool thread but to have value to it you should include what the app does, I'd say it's more important than download link.. I'm gonna add my list later
Coreplayer first and foremost! So, I'd love to try the SnapDragon version. I'd appreciate a link or a point in the right direction.

Best browsers, but both without pinch to zoom: Opera Mobile 10 (stable, smooth, reasonably fast) and Opera Mini 5 Native WM (some bugs, smooth, incredibly fast).
You can add pinch to zoom for both apps with BSB Tweaks, but not natively. It will not actually zoom the webpage, but rather the whole application!
Ok mate thanks for that.
keep the one you already have..
Yeah I am going to.
i like skyfire!
Opera is the best IMo...but Skyfire good for certain flash video websites
Hi,
I have the following problem. If I thouch the screen softly and preform semicircles opera zooms out and in.
Does someone have this problem too?
Because it's really annoying if I want to scroll, opera zooms out...
km
I heard that Opera supports "gestures" but I thought that was only for the Desktop and Wii releases of Opera... they may have ported it over to mobile.
though I can't seem to replicate this problem :S
Opera 9.7 support Zoombar. Any ideas with Opera10 and Opera Mini5?
Hello. I've read that skyfire supports flash. The thing is that every site i enter that requires flash,i got every time the message "this website requires flash player" so skyfire cant handle flash in is full purpose. Is there any alternative? Thanks
your right in saying SkyFire supports flash but its Android 1.6 that doesnt support it, we'll have to wait till 2.2 comes for the X10
Skyfire as a web browser, doesn't actually support flash. The server that renders the web pages that send them to your browser for viewing does. Skyfire's functionality has nothing to do with the x10 being on 1.6 versus 2.2 with NATIVE flash support.
Skyfire works fine on my x10, and use it all the time to watch videos. However, having said that, not all sites are supported by Skyfire. Also, Skyfire does not work as per the norm when trying to view video. An example of this is when I go to Youtube, Break or other video sites. I can click on a video and go to the videos page. However, I get the message that I need adobe flash player where the video is. BUT! if you hit the menu button, you'll see a "video" tab in the bottom left. If you click that, it will play the video. Now as I said, not all sites are supported by Skyfire. A few of your favorite porn sites just wont work
Try pornhub or keezmovies.....yummy!!!!
anyone probably noticed that android isn't really smooth in browsing unlike the iphone or the wp7...
and there is a simple reason for that! it is the rendering technique of the page.
iphone/wp7(and some new android phones like the sgs2) simply view the internet as a photo and when you zoom or scroll it is not a problem for the device to maintain 60 fps, 1 render(unless you zoom) and then you have no problem moving it.
However, android(stock browsers by google or others found in the play market) uses a different technique they actually show you the web as it is! means it shows you the vectoric form of stuff instead of rasterizing it into a big bitmap.
hence android is CONSTANTLY rendering the web when you move it so it is very hard for a simple device to load and maintain a nice and steady 60 fps(or even 20).
solution: hey why dont we make android do the same?
oh yes you can do that! and even better than the iphone does(the iphone will freeze for 1-5 seconds if you zoom in and out rapidly on heavy sites like yt and other desktop pages android don't) Opera mini does that
and perfectly good!
so every device running android can be smooth as well by using opera mini (next)
(not mobile... mini... mobile uses vectoric graphics too)
pros: ultra smooth! and you still have this fast android scrolling!
cons: no flash(par wth iphone). and sites load as mobile by default and might be shown wrong due to sever compression...
you having a big and powerfull device? you dont have to do this... just get boat browser and you will enjoy fast and vectoric browsing... without the cons of raterized browsing.
boat is the complete browsing experience imo...
btw in boat you can pan and zoom togather with 2 fingers(unlike opera and other browsers)
HAVE FUN!
The server-side website compression of opera mini makes the pages look terrible.. but maybe that's just me.

nope.. thats totally true.
opera makes your browsing experience worst.
Try Opera Mobile.
It doesn't need server side compression yet it is as smooth.
nope

didnt encounter much of problems... only in some rare ocassions(full yt and sites that have moving bars as the yt bar of playlists)
otherwise opera mini does the same as ios safari.
but scrolls android fast one fling for a page not a fling for 0.1 page.
btw in opera mobile you can disable that... in mini not...
also i gave you the boat browser alternative in case you dont have a super slow device...
i wish they could just make opera mobile or even boat browser with the mini's rendering engine!
no it's not...

its not smooth at all and wow i just loooove black blank screen on my device!
or that it doesnt work on ics or that the last update ruined it(wanted to dl it again and see if its smooth... apparantly it ruines the web surfing completely!)
all i see is white screen with opera mobile and than black screen with status bar...(used to work fine but not as smooth as the mini... not same gpu accelerated rendering methods)
