Via this site Pocket Zen Phone Call Profiles which let you set 2 to 7 call profiles you can also download a pdf file. Though not much information is provided... If you use REGLogger you can view the changes in your phone its registry
Start reading (cq downloading some~) every and all revies on this awesome thread;
Kitchen Utilities Reviewed
As you'll soon notice, I've written two articles there too Anyway, you can obtain REGlogger from there.
Back to your question; Maybe its an idea to ask your question in the SetVolume thread ??!
Have a nice day,

When Any One Call Me ( Mute Ring Button) Does not Work

Continuing..
If Mute ring button does not work, then did you try to press Volume Down Button ? I use it all the time. In my opinion its directed to \Windows\Mute.exe
Anyway, I would suggest to inform yourself in the SetVolume thread. Post a message there explaining your problem the best way. Do not forget to mention what Phone you have. More details are better than less. There is the best place to get help. In a few days I'll check that thread to see if your problems have been solved.
Gook luck,

Okey Sir
I Will Post My Porblem In The SetVolume Thread
Thank You Very Much

There is no stupid question! Except, possibly, a question not asked… Don’t stop asking.
Hi junior dude,
Hehe, well as you can see I’m also pretty much a junior forum member, so you’re not alone on this amazing site. I’ll quickly try to answer your questions as thoroughly as possible.
1. The only radio that the pdal has is the radio that handles all of your calls and data connections so you’re already using it, it doesn’t have an actuall radio that can be used for listening to music. If listening to music is what you what to do then you basically have 2 choices, firstly you can call some toll free number after office hours to listen to their switch board music without them answering the phone or, secondly, you can download an application that you can use for listening music on the internet, it’s a bit more expensive than the first option but you can listen to music you actually enjoy. Just Google something like “pocket pc internet radio” and you’ll find a few resources on how to go about using the second option.
2. I searched around a bit and couldn’t find such an application. Although I think it might be possible, it’s not going to be easy. All of the music players that I’ve worked with will simply stop playing when you make or receive a call. On some of them you can even press play and it will continue but you won’t hear anything. The reason why I say that it might be possible is because one can hear sounds activated by notifications when busy with a call. Let me know when you find such an application.

Hey guys, i know that many Chefs here have much plan of Windows Mobile.
Does anyone of you know which reg key had to be changed to use another volume control instead of the one Windows Mobile has build in.
I'm Asking becaus MarcLandis is building a great and fingerfriendly application and it would be great if we could map it to the Volume icon on Taskbar.
You can find the Thread here.

C'mon guys, no idea.
I'm only so intrested in this programm, because i'm using my Kaiser as an MP3 Player and i thiunk the volume controll of Windows is not as fingerfriendly as the setvolume app.
It's not wise to bump a thread after only a few hours.
This is a word wide use forum. When some of us are sleeping some parts are reading this forum, and the other way around of course.
Concerning your question: Check your link in the first post. I guess your problem has been solved by the same user that build the application you like so much

Slithers Cube...

Have u guys tried to install Slithers SCLPC++ on ur smartphone? I tried, works good, all the animations n stuff...looks really cool...only downpart cant press any of the buttons, i put forward the following in slithers thread:
"
Hey slither.....great work.....i went to the edgelib site n it stated there that it can be installed on smartphone....so i went ahead n installed it...works like a charm (just the cube roatating and all) but neverthe less its probably the best interface so far i have had for a non touch screen....
There are a few things though i would like to ask you:
1. Is it possible to assign the opening of the icons (music, programs, contacts) to the numberpad, that way it will be fully functional on smartphones as well.
2. The centre button of the Dpad assigned for opening app rather than closing SCLPC (only for smartphone, for PPC i thnk the present config is best)
3. Make some function for up key in dpad of smartphone, like the same function as swipe in touch screen does?
Is this possible bud?
Keenly waiting for what u have to say.
Thanks alot bud,
Once again great app.....
"
What do u guys think? If we can be generous we can probably get slither to make it functional for our non-touchscreen phones.....and it looks amazing....
Sound's cool, what the thread url so we can post more requests for smartphone? Maybe ifhe knows there's a demand, he'll help us out.
Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358102
I will post a video of how it runs on my phone soon.....
and heres the download that ran on my phone:
http://rapidshare.com/files/89795344/SCLPC___3D_0-051__WM05-WM06_.zip
I have uploaded the video, its in the cube3d.zip file....its in 3gp format...its not that clear cause its recorded from mobile, but i have displayed 3 of the skins i downloaded and how it looks......
Let me know what you guys think
i always wanted to test this app on my phone but i always though it woulndt work, but for my surprise it does,il be willing to post on the authors original post so that he can know that we smartphone users want hes app fully functional on our phones.
Did anyone manage to convey our message to him? I was thinking if he can not do it, probably ask him if he could give us the source and we can get someone who is good at c++ to do it...i know someone who might be able to...
What do u guys think?

How to increase the volume?

When I make VOIP calls, I can hear the speaker speaking, but the volume is very low, is there anyway to increase it? Thank u!
There is a thread in the general wizard section about boosting sound. To date, no one has completely figured out how to raise the volume, but there are ways to boost BT sound and speakerphone sound.
If you click on my name and check out threads I have subscribed to, you should be able to find the thread of which I speak.
Good luck.
And...if you find that golden goose, and figure out how to fully boost sound, please post it for us all to use.
There is a solution for HTC Touch Diamond. Maybe you can try something similar and see if it works on your wizard.
maybe you could upload the cab here?
has anyone tried it with the wizard? I do not remember having that file in my wizard's kitchen at all.
Is the registry in touch's oem? or is it already in sys?
I'd be willing to try this.. but cant download from that site at the moment. no computer on hand. it's at home, and have no patience for PIE. :/

Desperatly need to increase phone volume - WM6.1

Hi all,
I'm pretty new to this forum and it's my first post. I'am also not an english speaker so I'll try to make myself as clear as possible (also hope I'm in the good section).
I recently acquired an Airis T483 smartphone, running WM6.1 (very unknown smartphone, I don't even find a link to show you its charasteristics...).
Anyway, I (and users using this phone) are having a big issue, and the Airis Company doesn't want to help us.
Basically, the phone volume is really really slow. Even with all volume indicators at their max, we almost can't use the phone because we merely can hear the person calling... This is so annoying, because our first use is off course to be able to use it as a phone. And for now we HAVE to use earphones to hear correctly.
We contacted the company Airis and their support and they are saying that the volume is correct and it corresponds to the standards... They keep up saying they are not modifying firmaware and can just replace our phone with identical ones...
So this is my question : Is it possible to find a software (or even write one) that can add "gain" to the volume level (I mean that can increase the volume, even when actually it's on 100%). So we can hear when we are using the phone.
Note : use of the speakerphone is excluded for privacy reasons...
I (and not only me) will be eternally grateful to anyone who could help us, even by pointing us to something we could maybe develop (we have basic knowledge and skills in programming).
Thank you all
EDIT : Found a link on device database : http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=1578

This is about a tweak on a windows file that doesn't exist actually in my phone... looks like it exists only in HTC made phones

Thank you for the links, but it's not working for me. I explain :
These threads are about the SRS WOW app that could effectively be a solution for me. I had a hard time with this software so I'm going to tell you what happenned :
- First you have to find the good version of SRS WOW HD for PPC with WM6.1 to have it "install" correctly. For me it was the version 1.21 found on one of the links you gave me. It's the only that installed correctly and I was able without a load error like 'ERROR : driver missing'....
- Then, my phone was silent (which was predictable according to the posts of guys who tried it with WM 6.1).
- I did the registry tweaks but it did not work. I placed correctly the old values in the right keys etc... but the phone keeps silent. Hopefully by uninstalling the program everything goes back to normal. I went through all night reading about this and it appears that the soft has compatibility issues with WM6.1 and some smartphone or PPCs (by the way, I know it's a dumb question, but have I a smartphone or a PPC ??? I'm kind of lost :s )
So, at the end, I still don't have found a solution. Pleease I'm beging... Help me find a way, don't do the work at my place, just point me somewhere to look for if you could.
I'm ready to develop something, I'm ready to give specs about my phone (BTW I discovered in the device database that it has Mono sound, not stereo... is that relevant ?), I'm ready to give a dump of the registry and look into it with help of someone... anything that could help.
If you have even just a thought, a lead, please share it. Thank you very much.
P.S : During this long night i found an application called "Audio Gain Tweaker", sounds like a dream... but only compatible with... HTC phones !!! So if someone of you guys needs a gain, he knows where to start searching
Ok, it's definitely a PPC, I got the difference now.
Regarding my problem, anyone has a clue ? What should I do, I mean can I post this thread to the Development and hacking section ???
Up ???????
I did a quick search and couldn't really find any specifics about your phone... try this program... again its made for hTC but is worth a try...

Thanks for your help, but it's same as last answer. This tweak is about a file called AudioPara3.csv which in HTC phones is situated in the windows folder. The goal is to replace it by the tweaked one, but I don't have such file in my phone and placing it into windows folder doesn't change anything ! (I tried off course...)
What do you think I should do ? Contact dev and hacking section ? Is there anyone who can help me finding relevant keys with a dump of my registry ???
