ok hi, i have a T mobile Samsung Galaxy s Vibrant (t-959) And now im trying to reset it, i know how to use odin and all that, however when it's plugged into my pc and on it works fine, But when i go into Download it's "USB NOT RECOGNIZED" on my comp, i downloaded a lot of drivers, went to device manager and tried to find the .ini file blah blah, lol, Did all that, I just need it to detect in download mode so i can reset my phone.
If someone could help that would be great!!!, Thank you!
Also when nothing is in on my phone, I try to turn it on and it acts as if a USB is in, then just turns right back off, and if i do get it powered on and take out the USB cable it freaks out and says "USB CONNECTED",Help please, thanks.
Hi,
I have a hobby to develop phone application.
I have no problem with connecting my HTC phone to my laptop for "USB Debugging connection" but my Verizon Samsung Galaxy s3 SCH-I535 could not get the "USB Debugging mode".
I DID CHECK the "USB Debugging mode in the system menu" however, my development environment could not get the debug mode.
Actually, when I plug in the USB with Galaxy s3, it shows the folder of the phone as usb data storage but not for debugging connection
Is there any way to get debug mode on my phone? Do I need to return this phone and wait for developer version of phone when Samsung launch in the developer site?
Thank you
I had the same issue where the galaxy only wanted to identity itself as a mtp or a camera device even though the usb debugging was enabled. adb devices command return nothing aswell. Found somewhere on stack overflow that installing the samsung kies suite would install the debug driver needed for adb to pick it up and it worked for me in my case, so hopefully that'll solve your issue as well.
I had that problem too, and I found it to be a driver issue. Grab the USB drivers from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756885 (links direct to Samsung's site) and Win7 should detect everything.
I am having the same exact issues on my Sprint S3. I have installed all the drivers. Turned on USB debugging, and nothing! I am about fed up with this. I can transfer music over to the SD card without issue. When i try to put on anything other then media it tells me my device has stopped working or was unplugged. If i wasn't past my 14 days I'd return this thing and go back my Evo.
I had been hard resetting my Huawei phone and it ended up dying while resetting itself. My fault for not charging it before proceeding with the reset. Anywho, now it is stuck in FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE which wont allow me to access my device. Whenever I connect it to my computer, Hisuite automatically starts up, but it continually states my device is not connected. Apparently, I need to have USB debugging enabled; but I am unable to do so without access to my phone. Does ANYONE know what to do? I have scoured everywhere and haven't found any successful solutions.

This might help you, uninstall usb divers of your specific device which you have previously installed and try to install the latest version again..Connect your phone in main usb port not in secondary hubs..Try it and report..
please help im trying to flash twrp onto my alcatel pixi 4(5) everytime i try flashing twrp it always says waiting for device and stops there please please help
Do you have USB debugging enabled? Usually when you plug in your phone with USB Debugging enabled a pop up will appear on your screen asking if its OK to connect and be used, press OK and you should not have any issues. Then reboot your phone into download/bootloader mode and you should be able to flash whatever you need to. If it says waiting for device just unpug, replug it in and re enter the command.
Also make sure the USB cable you are using is able to transfer data and not just for charging.
