IPhone slip cases

my dad has an iphone 3gs i managed to get my hands on his slip case, and IT fits, surely that is great for all of us that means that *hopefully* all iphone slip cases will also be compatible with our desires. heres a link to his one here

I tried my work colleagues slip case looks the same as in your link, he got his in the carphone warehouse so probably was 3 times as much. It does fit just just the top sticks out a tiny bit.
Getting so desperate for a case I might chance it.

yeah its quite a nice case actually considering when you add all the stuff shipping and vat it comes in at a healthy £15 which is pretty good for a nice case

It's a good price for a nice case, using a £2.90 from eBay at the moment and it's embarrassing!!

i've always used to have them type of cases but they always seem to do more harm than good considering this was a "mere" £400, well i think i might protect it properly!

I went down the line of somethings better than nothing.. Had it a week so it's been about 5 days longer than I wanted to keep it for, can't seem to find anything that I liked or that would fit.

I just bought a really nice iPhone slip case for my Desire.
Black, soft leather from HMV for £10... (half price)
Protrudes about 4mm out of the top - but well worth it.

Its actually both..I just received it in the mail yesterday and I am very pleased with it...soft finish and it comes with the front and back case that snaps on and a belt case for the phone to snap into screen facing it...my keyboard and screen had a little wobble before the case but now the extra little bit of the case has actualy helped a lot..my phone feels much more solid now! For 6 bucks this was a steal!! also the case does not say seidio on it but it is identical to my gf's seidio case for her epic

I got mine in today. I ordered it before the price jump. I stopped by the sprint store to see how it looked and then put the order in lol. I saved $34 plus tax. Thanks for the heads up. Thats what community is supposed to be about. Helping each other, and that includes my pocket.

Well worth the money (even at $10 IMO).
It came with a hard case for the phone (front and back) and a belt clip holster.
The case is soft-touch hard plastic and seem decent enough.
I can verify that the holster works for both the Official Seidio (3000 mah) extended back cover, as well as the Chinese eBay (3500 mah) extended back cover.
I'm pleased with my purchase (bought it for the holster).

After looking up the item numbers, if you order the black one you get the case and holster. If you order the grey one it seems to be case only. They are both the same price though.

I bought my first set at best buy, but my holster melted on new years day been close to a bonfire,surprisingly nothing happen to the phone
Anyway for just 5 dollars this was a good deal and I received it today

Bought 2 of them. It took 8 days to get to me but the case is just what I wanted. The holster should work with just about any case you buy off ebay if you looking for different colors. Worked with my two different style cases my wife and I had. She has the one that covers the samsung and sprint icons.

Still a great deal I've bought 2 now and both are great, fast USPS shipping for me as well.

[TIP] Buy your cases / screenprotectors on eBay!

If you want to search for some great cases / screenprotectors, search eBay for 'leather flip' 'silicone' ... case HTC Desire S. Tick worldwide and buy directly, and from the dropdown menu lowest price at the top.
You will get the case you'll like for under 5 bucks. While in the stores, they cost over 20 bucks!
Just sharing this with you. Why spend 20, while it can be bought for 5?!

I have a leather case from eBay, for £2.99
Had it on for 4 months!!
Didn't expect to use it that long! I only bought it at first as it was cheap and I won't use it all the time, but now, the phone feels vulnerable without the case And invisible shield!
I keep it on all the time, ill post pics soon!

Recently changed the case (different color) and screen protector, a TPU case with a matte screen protector. Gives the phone the required protection and then some. Both off eBay India. Pics attached.

Agreed, DealExtreme is a perfect place to look as well, indeed if you have the time to wait a couple weeks for the goods to arrive .
Got my screenprotector for Desire S on ebay Germany, cost me 2,5 euro including shipment and was delivered to Belgium in 3 days .
Don't go for the cheapest screenprotectors though (those being sold 6 pieces for 1 euro or something like that), these let go of the screen in 2 weeks time or less.

Have to say the screen protectors off ebay aren’t always great

Rugged case suggestions for Aussie Nexus 4

Hi,
I need a tough case (curse you Otterbox!) for my Nexus 4 as I will have junior staff using my phone like it's their own. I have seen some cases on ebay that are eligible for shipping to Australia, but they really don't look all that great.
I know finding something as good as an Otterbox, probably wont happen, but maybe something ALMOST as good? Maybe even with a cheaper price tag???

I haven't received it yet as I am in the UK and shipping will probably take a while, but it looks pretty sturdy from the images. Also, I made an offer of $11.50 (AU) for 1 and the seller accepted, so it's worth making an offer of that or less.

Hi, yes I have seen those before. I was told by another Nexus owner who bought tis case, that the stand makes it a very bulky case. Also the hard plastic on the outside seems to make the phone slippery. He would've preferred plastic inside, silicone outside.
But as I can't find anything else, I think I'll get this one for the time being. (Until Otterbox changes their mind. Yeah right!).

I'm also bummed that OtterBox didn't do a Commuter for the N4. The GNex one I have is amazing!

That Seidio one looks good, but the price is exxy. However, Otterbox will cost more ofcourse. A shame I can't get the red or blue one in Australia. I can get them via the official site ofcourse, but it will cost me a whopping 63 bucks lol. I can find the black one on pre-order at an Aussie online shop for $38,- though.
I just noticed that the Nexus are back in stock in Australia again today. As well as in France and Spain (those 2 countries sold out within 10 minutes again on the 31st). So it looks like Google has sorted out stock issues. Maybe this means Otterbox might start considering making a case seeing more Nexus 4's are now available for purchase.

This case is awesome for the price! The only problem is the cut out for the proximity sensor is too small and blocks the sensor when in calls. Easily fixed with a drill bit though Was going to buy the ballistic sg case, but for a cheaper price, i'm happier with this. (I have had a ballistic sg on a galaxy s3 and it was awesome) I still prefer this case. More colour options too. You can even get one that looks like a beer if you're into that.

Hello fellow N4 owners, I have seen many reviews of the poetic bumpers but had not seen any for this particular one i found on Amazon

that's good to hear, i just ordered the same one yesterday.

Just got mine in the mail and put it on. It's really nice. I can't compare it to the Google bumper as I've never used or seen one. But this one is good. The buttons work well, the cutouts are perfect, and I don't feel like I'm going to break my phone.
Definitely worth it. I'll be happy to answer any questions if anyone has some.

if you cant decide then it means you should get both. its a good ideal to have a case that protects the back on days you need more protection.
for those that have the bumper, does it look like the plastic will peal from the rubber layer? also i read some amazon reviews that people were saying some 3.5mm audio jacks dont fit with the case. Can anyone confirm this?

I just received mine yesterday...I like it...though it's way too smooth and slides out my hands easily...I'll probably buy a Poetic and the official one too, or wait a bit more and see what else comes out for it.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive, all the reviews at amazon say its a great case that looks and feels just like the oem from google but I also ordered the Ringke Hybrid Fusion just in case I didn't like this one. Pics anyone?

The official will feel like the replica so you'd be better off not buying the official one if this one is not of your liking.

I ordered this a few days ago. Abacus24-7 sent the wrong item and I received a folio case. When contacted, they responded very quickly saying they would send the right item and haven't asked me to send back the wrong one. So....I can't say anything about the bumper yet but the customer service is very good so far.

Just got mine, and I really like it, The buttons are actually better with the bumpers that they are normally. I have a Ringke Slim that I was using that was excellent so it feels a bit wide, but I'll get used to it.

your not the only one, i got a leather wallet case instead of the bumper. they said they will send me one next week when the new batch comes. Im happy with their customer service so far too
