Super Mario Live Wallpaper - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

I don't know if I am posting in the right spot, but I would like to know how to download it on my Droid Incredible. (first android phone [got it yesterday!]) If anyone can do a step-by-step, that would be awesome.

Search for it in the Android Market. Definitely the simplest way.

tried searching for this today, and no results. best bet is to find someone with the .apk and install from that, because it doesn't seem to be in the market anymore...

Nintendo made the dev pull it. There's a download link around here for it tho just do a search.
Sent from my Droid Incredible

This was (I'm pretty sure, anyway) the most recent version available on the market.

lol just realized I can't use most of it on 2.1 yet.. no camera. Maybe I'll be the one to fix the camera...
is this for every android version or just 2.1?

It's only in the new (1.6 and up) market, but the above posted APK works in every version.
Yeah sorry, I didn't mean it doesn't work, I just meant in the ROM im using, the camera doesn't work, which in turn would make the picture searching, well.... useless lol
Just tried it out on fresh's rom, works great! way better than shopsavvy imo
thanks!
its compatible with 1.5?
i downloaded it straight from the market place
and im running gumbo 1.5c
Sweet! Does Google Goggles by chance run on 1.5? If so can someone upload the apk?
Just to let everyone know, Google Shopper is, in fact, available in the 1.5 market. Guess we all didn't look hard enough, or Google flipped a switch at some point in the last day or so. At least I'm seeing it on Gumbo's 1.5c naturale.

Ditto. Works for me on Gumbo 1.5c, but I think I prefer Shopsavvy to this because of the local results it offers along side the online ones.
Not showing up in Market on TTG ROM. Tried searching "shopper" and "Google Shopper".
Works on Fresh...tks
It works great on my phone. I will have to compare to shop savy and decide further tho.
Running Gumbo 1.5c and I do not see google shopper in the market.
Thanks, works well... but its in american, anyway to get it into UK prices....?
Why not just get straight from market? Any difference between yours and markets?

[Q] Is alt rom still needed to make gtab better

Noobie here so please be kind.
I have been reading posts for only a couple of weeks and was wanting to try tnt lite 4.2 but what I can't understand is it really needed after the OTA update. Is there any real advantage? I get the handango market and play "angry birds" just fine. I guess what I am asking is it still worth it?
I have install cwm but just wanted some input before I pulled the trigger.
I have not done it
I am using their stock ROM without any issues for the past month now. Switched to the classic home and it has been working great. Yaa there is no android market, but there are lots of other places to get apps and you can easily side load apps and they have been working great for me! I don't think I will be changing the ROM on mine (maybe if someone gets honeycomb going on it then I might reconsider).
Hope this helps!
I use stock 3588 with the enhancement pack. Stablest I have seen yet. Ran both Vegan and TNT Lite and liked them, but little intricacies caused my to go back. Sounds like there is an OTA in the works that looks pretty sweet.
TnT seems to be cooking up an update that, if released, will add a LOT of the speed enhancements that TNT Lite has had for the last 2 months.
You'd still want a custom ROM for full market, root, adhoc and a few other things - but I agree that TnT is getting better with each update they make. I hope that continues.
I'm also using stock with enhancement pack. Market is still somewhat limited as compared to my Droid 1 but you can side load.
Problem with side loading is the malware. Even GAM has been getting some nasty bugs. TNTlite has been very stable and faster. I ran stock until a week ago.
I just ordered one of these. I didnt do my research until after I bought it. I didnt realize it doesnt have the android market. So, I'm guessing it doesnt have the google apps either??? Like no gmail, youtube, etc?
Can you just get the market apk and side load it and have the full android market?

No need for that if all you want is market. Either install the enhancement pack, whuch gives you market plus more, or get the GoogleServicesFramework.apk and Vending.apk and put them in /system/app.

It seems like that next OTA might be the one that gives a reason to upgrade, assuming the update doesn't have the problem w the boot thing.

Not my experience: enhancement worked, but very limited, moving to tntlite gives probably 80% vs 1%
Thanks I did install the enhancement pack and got the market up and running.

Listen to me very carefully. It takes about 30 seconds of your time to fix the market.

And it starts! LOL the non researching 10k+ crew are probably flooding the xda as we speak trying to figure out why this thing isn't what they expected
I like to think of it as a Pinto engine in a Ferrari lol, You just need to swap out the rom with tnt lite or another great rom and you will be juuuuuuust fine. Most of all roms come with market prebuilt in. If you want to stick with stock Viewsonic 2.2... well then IDK what your thinking lol
is there a way to get Gmail contacts and Google Calendar without flashing a different rom. I plan on keeping the stock rom most likley BUT really want gmail-contacts-calendar sync with google . ( dont care as much about market as I sideload)

Cut The Rope on Android! Finally!

First of all, http://www.droid-life.com/2011/03/01/cut-the-rope-for-android-nearing-release-preview-goes-live/
Second, I think I found the apk... the very one that's shown in the video. I have it on my phone, and it looks quite official. It is a lite version, though, probably the free version that will be released once the game goes up on the market. I don't know what it's compatible with, though. I have it running on my Evo, CM7 RC2.
EDIT: This is an UNofficial Chinese port of the game.
Enjoy!
EDIT: Played this for a while now... beat all except for one level. It seems to be pretty buggy. Taps are almost always registered as swipes, and multi-touch just doesn't work. Still, it should help stave off anyone's craving for some Cut The Rope
EDIT AGAIN: since I went and bumped this, I might as well update. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12656267&postcount=55 has an almost fully functional apk of this. Works very well, just turn off music.
Yey! Good news! Thanks.
that looks fun ha ha
that's not the real one. it's an unofficial port from an unofficial chinese market.

Based on the whole 3rd party markets and running naughty code thing I would not be installing this.
This has packages.. inside the .apk.. not touching it.
Wouldn't touch it. Giant alarm bells 1) packages inside the. Apk, and secondly, a port from chinese market. Sounds like anyone who loads that up is asking for trouble...

Packages, do you even know what you are talking about? Because if you mean the .lib files; then yes, how else do you suppose you would be able to run a direct iPhone port on your Android phone?...

General rule of thumb, an American will hack you just as well as a Chinese. And yet you all cry murder over a game ported over by Chinese developers? WOW...
I suggest you all look at the permissions this app requests and then head on over to http://developer.android.com/reference/android/Manifest.permission.html and read up on what each does.
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
android.permission.INTERNET
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
All pretty standard for a game that uses the Chinese equivalent of OpenFeint.
This apk has absolutely ZERO write access to any part of your phone. NONE.
You can now proceed to put your aluminum foil hats back on, peace.

This is most definitely not official. This is an unofficial port done by some Chinese developers. It's not even a very good port at that, since it's a direct port of the iPhone version. They didn't rewrite any of the code for the actual game.
Yeah, it's not official. But it's definitely NOT a virus. Had it on my phone for a while, nothing ever happened, and Lookout never detected anything.
have some kind a good news, i discovered if you turn off the music in the options (sound effect can still stand on if you want) the game works good without the glitchy controlls like taps that register as swipes
played it every level can be played with ful 3 stars and smooth on my phone
can they port other apps like taptap?
Vaya boricua.
at my X10a 2.1 not work
I liked the idea, but the game itself was good, but no multitouch and quiet short. But good job!

[Q] Running fission... but i now have the old version of youtube...

So I've installed fission and a few different themes, but now i've noticed that the youtube app is back to the old verson, not the new one with the really nice UI. And that *might* just be a dealbreaker for me.
Is it fission or one of the themes?
And how do I get the new one back (if that's possible)?
Thanks!
I don't see any reason you couldn't get an updated copy from the Android Market? Fission isn't tied to any particular version of any particular app, as far as I know.
I tried looking for it in the market, but it doesn't seem to exist?
Woah! Nevermind! :S Yesterday it told me that youtube was up to date, and I kid you not, it just updated as I was typing this response
That's kinda freaky...
Well COOL!
Thanks anyway!

So, bjballar41, uhh in regard to Sense and to the Market/Play question, is your Girlfriends phone rooted?
If the phone is not rooted, she might want to check for software/firmware updates. Sounds like she is still running froyo, android 2.2.
Uh, ROM version aside, there's a d/l for the play store.apk. Google it. I did that way back, b/c I was still on market 2.5 (I think)

But is the play store an improvement? I recently went back to a nandroid of the ROM I found most stable. I have the old market back and am loving it compared to the more recent veal they have foisted upon the unsuspecting masses. Yes, it may be a good idea to have the apk, but I won't install it unless my market stops working. My 2 cents.
Edit: Veal? Really? I typed "crap". Lol, autocorrect.

As it is stock ATT never updated the Inspire to anything past 2.3 with the older sense. It didn't even get the Sense 3.0 update HTC pushed out. This is the reason foe not having the lock screen. Unless you root it and flash a custom from it won't happen. The market maybe OS version dependet

I don't know about better. It looks like the 3.x series of Market. I will say that the 2.x Market I had had started having random times where it wouldn't connect.
