Beta v0.1
This started originally as a port of Fabulous' Droid X theme for a buddy and grew into a full fledged theme project for me. I'm Trying to blend sense with the highlights and some of the styling of the Droid X. Though it has a lot of red it is not ment to be a red theme. I just feel it matches well with the styling of the exterior of our phone. Sense is HUGE and i have a lot of ideas for this project but I felt it was complete enough for a beta. I have, and plan on putting a lot of time into this (mainly due to an ACL surgery I have coming up), so please enjoy

Please leave constructive feed back. This is my first FULL theme so I know I have to work out some bugs as well as some broken .9.pngs. Also still learning .XMLs so you might find a sense highlight or two that is not themed....I'm working on it. I plan on themeing A LOT more sense, as for the CM6...thats pretty much done. If you find a bug or broken .9.png, you can greatly help by POSTING A SCREEN SHOT!
very nice. i tested out your first "release" a week or two ago and i was nothing but pleased. great work. you should put up a donation link.
one suggestion; personally, i would like if the status bar was the one from the droidx and not the sense one, but thats just my opinion

I'm running the skyraider 2.2 sense ROM but I'd like the X launcher in this theme. Can I get this using the sense ROM or do I need to switch to the vanilla ROM?

i have the super circle battery on the 2.2 skyraider rom what i'm worried about is if i install this theme over it i'll lose my battery, guess i could always just reinstall the battery zip possible to keep the theme but change the battery?

I tried it, it doesn't work, because it pushes out a new framework-res, so you lose the sweet tranlucent notification bar & icons that are included with this theme.
Too bad I don't know how to theme, or I would make a fix for it.

Awesome, thank you sounds perfect, are you also converting all highlights and stuff to red from green?
Yeah I think I got 99% red right now...I think there's one somewhere I missed or is controlled through .xml...either way I'll find it and convert it to red also

Welcome, I like to think of this theme more as a community theme because I do often take a lot of suggestions from community members and we make a lot of really good decisions as far as what looks better or goes better together. I always welcome feedback and support from the community if you come up with new ideas drop them in my thread. Most can attest I've been fairly helpful with giving people what they need and coming out with releases that people will enjoy. I don't know how far this theme will keep growing but I will continue to do as best as possible to get as many people involved in it. Thanks for all your efforts!
This will work on New RUU leak, so will work on Beezy Kool Aid and Fresh 2.1.1 and etc.
I will be keeping this updated aswell. All selection effects and what not should be grey this theme is mostly all grey/black/white.

loaded this up minus the icons.. this is kinda like a theme ive been looking for.. loved darkstar.. etc.. this is pretty close..love the font.. will look out for the dark icons.. will i be able to just flash them when they are ready?

running this with the nexus launcher its tops ! some of the fonts are a little ruff on my eyes IE keyboard and txting but i think ill adjust fine

Hmm I do not use them but I could probably make them. Root Explorer I can't post here and some apps I cannot do due to them being paid.
Google Voice, Handcent and Gmail icons would be awesome....
After testing the rest of this out I will be uploading Clear Clock widget(with darker flipers?)lol Also themed power control. I also added some icons to the Rosie bar when pressed will turn green. < Because grey did not make it look any different
Tell me what you think and if no go on the rosie bar or etc I will just upload the changes in single files for people that dont want it changed. Thanks!

Some people have seen it in Myn's thread, some haven't. This is a reskin of Sense to look like the Gingerbread Launcher. It comes in 3 parts: Gingerbread Battery, Gingerbread Launcher reskin, and Gingerbread Keyboard. I kept them separate because some people only want this or that.
The issue with using LauncherPro or ADW.Launcher is that we can't have our Sense widgets. On top of that, we lose Myn's new transitions and the transparent app drawer. This solves the issue The keyboard and Gingerbread launcher will work on ALL Sense-based ROMs. The battery mod is built on top of Myn's framework-res.apk so I doubt that'll work with other ROMs.

To activate the Gingerbread keyboard, just go to a text box and hold your finger down. Hit "Input Method" and choose "Android Keyboard". It supports
multi-touch.
If you're using a different Sense Rom and you decide to flash the Gingerbread Launcher, your phone and browser button might not work. To fix this, I've included "Rosie Settings" from Myn's ROM, which lets you assign apps to the left and right button.
The time and battery widgets do not come with this mod! You need to get them from the Market. They're called Battstat and Tajm
I'm still working on porting over some Gingerbread titlebar icons to this mod

Is there any way you would be able to pull the rest of the status bar icon's other then the battery from gingerbread? They changed the 3g/wifi/signal icons and a few others as well and I think they look nice. Would be awesome if you could do that

Yup. I grabbed the whole 2.3 ROM (which btw is definitely just proof-of-concept and not for everyday use), so I have access to all the images. This is just a little preview of what's to come
Dumb Question - So I have a stock Warm RLS4, if i flash the launcher zip it will replace the default warm rls 4 launcher skin?
If you just want the launcher, only flash the launcher. It won't touch anything else.

thanks man great idea, i edit were the background on drawer icons are in the homescreen to match notification bar with Myns, now it looks nice and clean.
is there a way u can work around doing this wit the 4X5 Layout mod framework for the rosie, thats the only thing im kind of missing.

Can the launcher be modified so that the icons that are there are not just the phone and internet icons? Personally, I prefer having the text message as the right icon of the launcher and I usually leave the left icon as the phone/dialer. If this could be implemented, it would be greatly appreciated. BTW, great work on this theme.................

Yup. The purpose is to make it look more and more like Gingerbread, so I'll be porting over more stuff from the 2.3 SDK. The good news about these mods is that they'll continue to work in future Warm releases as well and they also work with any Sense-based ROM (aside from the titlebar mod).

Awesome! Thanks a lot, wish I could do stuff like this to help out, I'm currently trying to make the gingerbread theme work with sense, but I don't know much. I'll just flash these for now, while I work on my project that really isn't going anywhere so far. I'll be flashing these mods ASAP though!

Welcome to Slate Sense! This theme is based off the Desire Z/HD skin called Slate. My theme should be compatible with any latest Sense build from a 3.70 deodexed base. This theme is Sense only for the time being. Once CM 7 is more stable I will mess with making this work on it.

Hey maybe its me but my text doesn't show a date and time anymore. It just has a simple 12. I'm flashing another theme to see what the issue is.
Also when I look in my gmail account app it has these weird 3 square boxes. So its like pyroxhadudke...[][][]@gmail.com
Flashing another theme and I'll let you know whats going on.

Install the stock android font and it will fix the boxes.
I'm uploading a new version in about an hour or so with some fixes plus a few more things themed blue instead of green. Will also be including the stock font cause the one im using is giving problems.

As a side question.. any way you can make it display 1x when in a 1x area? There was a AOSP theme I flashed a while back that had my phone display 3G when in 3G and 1x when in 1x (it was flashed on one of the older versions of Steel's ROM so it was sense based). If not it's cool

I fixed the other problem of it not showing a date. It was because I kept trying to install the gingerbread keyboard which doesn't play well with 3.70 for now. Is there a recommended gingerbread keyboard that doesn't force close on everything I do jeez haha?

This is a theme for Cyanogenmod 6.1 stable for the Droid Incredible. It is based on haxzamatic's gingerbread theme for Cyanogenmod 6.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=863110). I have also made a metamorph which should work on the incredible as well as OTHER phones running CM6.1 or 6.1.1 (e.g. evo, nexus, desire, etc)
Basically, this theme is similar to other gingerbread themes, but the accent color is CYAN instead of green. There is a bit more cyan in this theme than in the haxzamatic's own cyan theme as I have modded the signal bars and more.
I used haxzamatic's Nexus S V1.5 incredible theme as a base, and I modified it from there. This is my vision of what CM7 should look like.
Features:
- Framework/notification bar, browser icon, contacts app, and GB Launcher modified to have have Cyan as the accent color and not green.
- Modified email, gmail, sms/mms, and calender app with gingerbread notification icons
- Themed GB launcher included in the flashable zip
- Stock gingerbread keyboard and dark google search included in the flashable zip
- LWP from Nexus S included
Please let me know what you think.
Unfortunately, I am very busy, and will be unable to provide frequent updates. Anyone can use, modify, and reproduce this theme as they see fit.
To install, simply flash the signed zip over CM6.1 stable. CM6 UI Color XML is pushed to your sd so just apply the color theme on the home screen press menu, Settings, CM Settings, User Interface, Tweaks Extras, Select a theme and select Gingerbread. On the MetaMorph copy the xml from the android themes folder to the CMTheme folder! Or download the color xml here - http://bit.ly/e3Ou2P

I noticed the battery % was a little off to the right, other than that awesome rom. Great work!
The battery percentage text from CM6 will not fit into the gauge. It must be disabled. All GB themes have this bug.
BTW, updated to v1.1. Some more bugs fixed, and more things themed.

This looks great. I love the Gingerbread green and all, but cyan is probably my favorite color. I'm thinking about maybe trying to do one myself in orange. Nice work.
Evo 4G owner here and I stumbled upon your amazing theme by chance, and im glsd I did it's so...cool
But Im having trouble setting it up via metamorph (haven't really used it before) is anyone willing to help me set it up?

awesome job, couple changes please
theres a couple of things i would love you to add (will donate for sure if added). an updated headset notification icon, the current one is huge. a notification icon for playerpro that matches the rest of the notifications, and a blue messaging and gmail icon. i don't know much about developing, but these are basically just a few icon changes that would make the theme so much more complete feeling for me. This is by far the best cyanogenmod them i've ever used, great job!

yeah i actually PMed KGBxxx cuz on another thread he posted this sweet gingerbread keyboard that he currently uses and it would go PERFECTLY with this theme...
The metamorph version i made should work well on evo, nexus, droid1,etc.

I tired using the metamorph version and when it starts to apply all the pars of theme it goes to bootloop when it applies framework-res.apk.
It's definitely possible im doing something wrong so any way you can walk me through applying it?
It would be sick if someone could make a red GB theme.

No problem here though I like the new look especially the lockscreen as opposed to the original Skyraider 3.5 lockscreen. Here are two screen shots in case any body wants to know how it looks.

dang, thanks Troy!! I guess I forgot this was one of my "personal files" I was working on a "full out stock look,darkened", that just never saw the light of day but there are a few bits and pieces in this file I am happy you guys like it!

yea I'll see what I can work together right now, I never went that direction cos I know the main point of Athena was the white status bar and changing that is kinda no point just run sense, but I can see if your not like me, and don't like sense you will want it, so Ill get to themeing.
and unlike this mod it will be based off the actual Athena framework, this file posted was just taken from my theme I run.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I think you are asking about the toggles, they will be fine I believe. Always do a nandroid just incase you want to go back, OR adb pull your framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk BEFORE flashing the theme. and if you don't like it, put the pulled .apks in place of the ones in my theme and flash that to get back to before.

Also, I noticed that applying the Gingerbread status icons, it doesn't break my rotary lock screen! (applied by the terminal command "rotaryunlock" in Skyraider Sense 3.5)
Im really glad the percentage number for my battery is gone. I was always staring at it. I feel more relaxed now lol
