To have a complete look on the folders and files in your phone, try using Astro File Manager. You can find it on the Market of course.
Uhm,thats not what i asked.

Problem: Installed apps from SD not showing in Market under My Apps.
Question: Is there a way to make them show up in the Market app, under My Apps.
Side loaded apps will never appear in the Market for you. The Market only keeps track of apps you purchase and/or download from it. Sorry!
Tnx Mike for clearing that up for me
Sometimes even apps installed from the Market might not show up in your market account.
Though supposedly if you uninstall and re-install a free app, your apps will then all be listed.
I wipe my rom often, on each install i notice google market trying to download apps i used to have. Its NEVER all of them, its only a few here and there but sometimes it downloads NOTHING. Is there a way to find your app list that market sync's with so that it automatically syncs them every time? Is there a way to edit the list? because sometimes i find that it downloads older apps i removed a while back.
Any help would be appreciated...
I've wondered the same thing. When I used to be stock rooted on Froyo, I would notice my phone would always download all the apps from the market automatically, maybe save for the last couple of apps I downloaded before trying a new rom. But while I use Titanium Backup most of the time, it seems my phone no longer downloads them from the Market on its own. The last time it tried, it downloaded all the apps I have from about 3 months ago. So where am I missing the little option to make sure it always tries to download my most recent apps? I assumed they had always been backing themselves up automatically, but I guess not.
You can use SQLite editor to tinker with the market database. Don't know if that will help. Each installed app is listed in it and whether or not auto update is enabled for that app.

IS that a phone app or something i can do on the computer?
It's Google backup that downloads all your apps back from market, if you are not in 4g or WiFi your phone is screwed for an hour or so of battery drain.

Menu, setting, privacy. Is this checked? This being checked allows google to have those backup and you see this option shortly after the sign in. Mine its not checked because I don't use that feature but this started with Froyo.

All,
I believe that I have successfully found and deleted all files related to the mSpotRadio app on my phone. However, the app still appears in the list of apps. Can some one please tell me what I need to do so that it does not appear in this list.
Thank you.
The current problem with the Google Play Store (app and web) is that you can't easily find your purchased apps. I happened to be messing around with URLs when I stumbled upon this....
This may not work for everyone depending on when you started using android, but here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Orders Page.
2. Look at the url. Add the following to the end of it:
"?purchaseFilter=apps&sort=1" (minus the quotes)
VIOLA! You have now reversed the order in which your orders are show. Now open all the paid apps you can in new tabs, then install them. Best to use a device you no longer have/use so be sure to enable it in settings.
When you can't load any more apps, remember the last NON-PAID app in the list. Now change "sort=1" to "sort=0". Now do the process again excluding the apps now added to the top of the list until you reach that non-paid app from before.
You now have ALL your paid apps at the top of your Orders page.
What do you think of this workaround?
Pretty cool, thank you
I'll never understand why that feature was removed from the app itself. It's unnerving to this day.

Thanks. I agree that they shouldn't have removed it.

I am rooted and familiar somewhat with TB . I have a hide my text app from the market which works well and even hides the icon, but it still shows up under the market as installed. I tried destroying market link but no luck.
Anyone know what I can do here?

Try uninstalling it via the Play Store instead of doing it directly via the phone.

I don't really understand exactly what you're trying to do, but what I think you're saying is that even though you've uninstalled the app it's still showing that you have installed it in the past, so you want to remove your history of having installed it?
Try going to the Play Store, then click the upper left icon to bring up the side view, then go to 'My apps.' Once there to to the 'all' tab and search for the app you want removed from your installation history and press the x on the right side.
Thanks guys... But sorry I wasn't clear. I want to keep the app, it was free, but not have it show up on the play store as being installed

I think I did what you said in your original post. If you go into Titanium Backup and then click on the app you want to hide, then go to the special features tab, then under "play store/market" click detach from market. The first time I tried it it actually didn't work... So I tried rebooting the phone and it still showed up, however, after going back to Titanium backup and toggling between attach and detaching from the play store/market it seemed to work. Try messing around with it a little more and see if it works.
EDIT: My mistake, it still is showing up in the all tab of google play, but not the installed tab... I'll keep messing with it.
Alright, guys (@Jaeryl, @Josh McGrath), here's my recommendation.
Instead of using Titanium, try copying the actual .apk of the text editor app from /data/app to the external sdcard. Then, go into Google Play on your PC and completely delete that text editing app. Refresh your device so that the app is also removed from there.
All you have to do now is go back to where you copied the .apk, install it, and voilá - your app is effectively eliminated from the Play Store, but is also still installed, just like you wanted.

I was actually about to suggest this... if you can't figure out how to do is you can always uninstall the app then just download an apk of the app online. I read that if you install it as an apk it won't be associated with the play store and thus won't show up.

That's exactly right.
See, Google Play can't and doesn't detect every app on your system, just the ones that came from the store itself that are being synced to all your devices. Think about it this way - a Nook Touch device uses the Barnes and Noble bookstore, and when you buy a book from the bookstore, B&N remembers it anr syncs it to all of the devices hooked up to your account.
However, if you download a PDF or ePub book from the Internet and sideload it onto your Nook, B&N doesn't know or care about it - all they care about is the products you purchase from them. And this means that that sideloaded book will not appear on your B&N account, nor will it be synced to your other devices.
Hopefully that little analogy helps you understand it a bit better.

From Google Play store, tap and hold on the app you seeing as installed, you will see remove or delete option there. Remove it, so you would never see that app again in installed list.
