I plan to upgrade my ROM with the official HTC ROM.
but I've downloaded:
WWE ROM and the ROM Europe
was when 1 % failed installation. There text like your device does not match the ROM
Please explain .... and what I should do: D sorry I am newbie

You have not Hard-SPL hence you can't bypass CID to which is vendor verification, Hard-SPL and you will be able to flash any stock regardless of vendor and custom ROMs.

The ROM (2.03.TX.WWE) is an ugly one, you may cannot change it to any other rom if you have installed it.

You can read much more about romugrading and hints here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=920277&postcount=1. Basically all you need is your device in bootloader, a copy of the patched RUU and a stock rom.

there is no diffrence between an orange branded Touch HD and a standard htc one, if you want to modify it just install the lastest gsm HSPL in the Touch HD section. check the htc e-club for the lastest official rom (U need HSPL first to bypass the CID check) and the latest cooked roms can be found in the HD rom development section

need help, i have got a t- mobile mda pro, known as htc universal; locked on t mobile; uk. i have upgraded the rom with this version (UNI_TMO_TMO_HR_20041_200147_11700_WWE_Ship); afterwards cant unlock it with using anything and doesnt allow me to install any crooked rom as well. whenever itry to unlock it or upgrade the rom, it goes on bootloader mode then i have to use (UNI_TMO_TMO_HR_20041_200147_11700_WWE_Ship) to restore to the previous rom.
device information:
rom version: 2.00.41 wwe
radio version: 1.17
ext rom version: 2.00.147 wwe
you need to use HSPL to unlock the phone i think the MDA Pro is touch pro right? you could ask there maybe
its not the touch one, its the x series version, HTC UNIVERSAL.
I have an HTC HD2 T-mobile, and i want to change my ROM without bricking my hd2, i heard that lots of people bricked their hd2 trying to change their ROM and i don't want that !
MY phone characteristics are:

1) I have to make a Hard spl before that or my spl (or Radio and ROM Version) is ok ?
