Looking for a CAB!! - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hi all,
I just had to do a hard reset (device was sloooooowwww!!) and now I am looking for a cab I used ages ago to make the clock, calandar and shortcuts backgrounds 50% opaque. I am also looking for the glass clock Cab too! I did use the search but have spent the last hour looking through threads tyting to find it! There is just too much stuff on this site!!
Thanks a bunch guys!!

Look at Touch X cabs. Very useful. He's got cabs that accomplish what you want and more.

Try Diniks 'all my works' thread

How Do You Change TomTom Today icon?

Silly question, but the tt6 today icon really looks so crap on my black themed orbit. So could someone tell a dummy how to swap it for my own sexier looking icon?
wm6 for artemis please HTC
Consider usign launcher software such as cLaunch and rlToday (all freewares) to be use in your Today screen to launch TomTom (or any other program). Highly customizable, however some may find it has lightly steep learning curve.
Thanks Hanmin, that's a good idea, I tried claunch and wound up making myself a really busy today screen. I haven't tried rlToday yet, but will give it a look later.
The reason I wanted to just change the actual tt6 icon, is because it is big and thumb friendly. Is it possible to make a similar sized shortcut with either of these apps?
Wow have you posted a load!

There is also a program called Manila Customizer that will let you change individual items like clocks, icons, etc. without changing the whole theme.

And this can be put on the Fuze without it being unlocked or whatever? I too am a bit ticked that the demos I saw had the flipping animation and this one doesn't. Cool thing to showoff. Although once its said and done, I think I'll go back to my normal WM desktop that I used on my Tilt.

Is there confirmation that Manila Customizer works on the Fuze?
Yes on Manila Customizer
I have the Fuze and have used Manila Customizer, Diamond TF3d both to change the theme of the Fuze. I found themes in the Diamond theme section, but when I went to all black etc and some of the other themes touchflo performance wen't down, the slider was rapid, but the people pictures took like 5 seconds to come up, same with programs and music.
After spending tons of time on this since Saturday, I've left the ATT theme, and changed things like the icons and slider through Manila Customizer and added some other things through cabs found there to change just specific things like the heroes and bottom icons. This leaves the basic tf3d theme as ATT and it looks completely different, but performance is still all immediate.
If you're a noob like me, you have to read through all the threads in the diamond theme section and you'll start to get good information. FYI, be careful on some of the themes etc., they are for diamond and landscape goes haywire and is basically unusable.

thx for the info.
yeah, this place is bursting with good info and answers... you have to have a solid search tactic and be prepared to read and read and read...18 linked threads later, you have the answer, lol.
Manila Customizer overwrite existing manila?
For those who have use Manila Customizer:
Do it overwrite the manila.exe that comes with the Fuze?
If so, I may need to backup some of those files before installing customizer.
ive been reading up on fuze tweaks and had a question. if you do that process to skip all the bloatware stuff, will you get the att theme still or the normal htc one. if not does antone have just the stock manilla 3d cab so we can just do the bloat skip and install that?
Q. Installed and put in all the folders with the icons, clocks, etc. and for some reason when I check the glass flip clock it just stays at the stock clock. Also, when switching to any other clock, It will keep the time at zero.. Something I'm doing wrong here? Everything else changes with no problem.

Thanks for that report. I had also switched to the HTC Black theme on my Fuze, and found the same slowdowns that you had, no matter what tweaks I applied.
Yea, same here. Seems like that is the only way to get working flip clocks for the fuze..?

I found a couple of things out, maybe this helps. The clock on my standard fuze is called a sprint clock (solid numbers and a rectangle background)? I found the Sprint2flip clock in the diamond thread and loaded it on my fuze and it works without turning everything into all zeroes.
It's in post #178 on this thread. It does mess up the option to scroll up the clock, but I don't really care about that.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...420887&page=18
After you have this sprint2flip clock on you can then load other flip clocks and they work. I won't attest to all, it seems hit and miss, but I've put on 7 or 8 different ones and they've all worked so far. I haven't checked that thread in a while b/c I'm travelling so don't know if there's a better alternative.
The wallpaper4all from mUn is the only thing that jacked up my clock to all zeroes and I had hard reset, but I was going to anyway, just fyi.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone finds a fix to get the scroll up working again.

try this one out.

Calender Plus freeware, wonders for appts on today screen !: )

Hi all,
i am using this freeware calender enhancement that i find VERY useful..
you can customize number of appt shown on today, the font size and header types.
Find it at my blog .. have a post on it there.
Let me know if you found it useful ok?
did anyone find it useful? will love to hear
I have looked at it, haven't installed it yet. Presently using TF3D on Touch HD. Really like the look of it and the way it puts almost the whole system on the today screen.
What I would really like is (now possible) an additional page on TF3D which can have normal today plugins and on that page SPB diary.
This calendar plus would quite easily replace SPB diary if it also supported tasks. That's my gripe with TF3D as well. Why only appointments... when tasks also need similar attention on today screen?
But still, looks very cool. Will try it once have more time on my hands
glad u found it ok

WM 6.5 & TF3D System Fonts (Works with HD2! CABs within!)

I've been messing around with replacement system fonts on the Blackstone (Touch HD) for a few months. Now I've got my HD2, I'm pleased to announce that all my CABs work on this phone too.
Please see the thread here for more details (Blackstone section). I'll continue to update it there rather than have two threads running.
All the fonts are linked in post 2 of that thread with pics, etc.
bumping this coz it was hard to find relevant info.
That are really good news!! I liked your fonts always! What I recognized was an issue with your Segoe Condensed - Font. The font itself looks awesome on my HD2 on the entire phone - but within Manila it look awfully bold. Can you fix it? That would be BOMB!
THX in advance!
Hi Sarcasm
Your fonts work on Leo perfectly, I think I'll stick to Nokia font, it's the best one I've tried out, letters and numbers look sharp and clear.......... it's truly a great job, hang in there!
these are great!
THANKS!
Thanks!
Nice one buddy, was one of the last things on my list to do!
Cheers!

2 calendars in the home-screen

Hi guy´s,
i hope you can help me
i search a .cab to show 2 appointments from the htc-calendear in the home-screen.
i know that MaxManila can do this, but i search a .cab to use without installing MaxManila.
Thanks a lot
Nobody ?
Only MaxManila can do this ?
Interested too !!!
I am also very interested:
Is there a simple .cab that could do this (showing the 2 or 3 next appointments on the Homescreen)?
Yes,
or if 3 appointments on one day, all appointments are on the homescreen
I'm tired, tired...
Aha, very intersting, but it´s no help
Manila is so limited, even in the HD2.....
Get SPB3 shell instead......
Don't know what MS is designing for WM7, but they are for sure taking much more looks at SPB3 than Manila or anything else.
Just my two cents. Sorry if you just need a simple solution, but in my experience small needs pile up quickly, and you end up with so many tweaks and cabs.... that it's better to start from scratch with an interface that is both "decent" and easy to configure, Manila is just one of these things....
Regards.
