When you have numbers, than change to a other keyboard and write one or two words. after this, you change the keyboard again and it works.
If have the same problem with gullum Ez 1.5 keyboard. Now i have BJK Keyboard and german language pack and it works fine

Okay so I've been testdriving CM6-RC1 on my Magic. I absolutely love the new Android 2.2 soft keyboard (I was using the HTC_IME keyboard), but unfortunately it doesn't have a portuguese dictionary. Still I found a xml dictionary used by anysoftkeyboard for the Portuguese language here: hxxp://code.google.com/p/softkeyboard/source/browse/trunk/DictionaryTools/xml/pt.xml?r=862. How should I go about adding it to the phone, so that the native android keyboard can use it?
Hey guys
I'm from Belgium. We speak dutch language but we use an "azerty" keyboard like french people.
So, I opened a swype beta .apk file, that included various languages including Dutch and French, with 7Zip.
First method I tried whas renaming a couple of files in the "assets/keyboards" folder.
That allowed me to see an "azerty" keyboard lay-out on my screen when selecting Dutch language.
I then opened "assets/files" folder. I then edited the SwypeScreen.ini file and modified the MainKeyboardNameLS into "Azerty-LS". I did the same with MainKeyboardNamePT but I typed "Azerty-PT".
Ok, resigned the file, installed on my phone perfect! I've got an azerty keyboard with Dutch dictionary. I've then tried to type which didn't worked out that well.
It still had Qwerty configuratie. So when I typed "A" it actually typed "Q".
I then thought: Hey! What if I just rename the Dutch dictionary to French?
Ok, I renamed the dutch dictionary for French use with the azerty keyboard.
Resigned the file, installed on my phone. Bollocks... French language now used the same Qwerty keyboard as the Dutch language.
So my conclusions are that the touch lay-out of the keyboard is related with that dictionary file!
Is it possible to edit the file somehow? The dictionary is called Dutch.zdb.le
I have absolutely no idea what file extension that is or with what program I have to edit it.
I though a dictionary is a text file most of the time so I tried to open it with "Notepad". But I got a load of text with squares ??
I hope my problem is clear for you guys!
Thanks for your help in advance!

Anyone?
Please?
I'm having the same problem with my HTC Desire
I would really like to see this future too! I'm from Belgium too, and I'm facing the same problem!
SlideIT already has a Dutch AZERTY keyboard though.
I've been editing swype alot for the past weeks but I've never been able to edit the self dictionary file!
I think that we can agree on, that the dictionary file itself has the settings for the keyboard layout. As far as I know, in those versions I've seen with dutch, Azerty does come up when you choose to use the Dutch dictionary.
Which version are you trying to edit? 1.60 or 1.54?

I got 1.61 Swype, butthe Dutch option gives me a qwerty layout
If someone could post the dictionary file, I'll be glad to take a look.
going to dig up this thread a bit...
I found 3 files on my Samsung galaxy S
-system/app/Swype.apk
-system/app/Swype.odex
-system/lib/libSwypeCore.so
which one of these would you be needing?
Anyway thanks in advance!
Just bought Galaxy S yesterday.
I have swype allready, but i found some other swype keyboard with croatian dictionary.
Is it possible to install swype package without rooting.
Is there any way to add own language to swype.
Like i sad i own swype but i only want to add croatian language.
Or is there anywhere swype standalone install package to install it as separate app like better keyboard.
thanks
I installed Touchpal 4 and it is by far the best keyboard. Works perfectly and I made a Bulgarian BDS version with a working dictionary (xT9 and T9 functionality) and it works fine. I used their tool SDK 3.5 to make the surface files:
1. BulgarianBDS.img
2. surface.data
3. user_dic.txt
I mad the BulgarianBDS.img out of BulgarianBDS.txt file which include more than 80000 unique Bulgarian words and now the xT9 and T9 on the Touchpal keyboard are working perfect!
I just need to only adjust a few more things there (some of the words priorities). But I need to extract back the BulgarianBDS.txt file out of the BulgarianBDS.img file
Does anybody know how is it possible to "decompile" or edit the BulgarianBDS.img file so that one gets the BulgarianBDS.txt file out of it?
