[ROM] OTA 1.47.651.1 Rooted - De-odex'd version now up....

Here is the OTA 1.47.651.1 update(complete ROM) rooted. It works with Toast's method but I don't know if it will work with Unrevoked
Just an FYI, zip contains odex'd system files
Also it will not break NAND access - If it does, redo Toast's part 2 root method and then rerun this update

SO, just to clarify, if one was running a rooted FreshEVO or DamageControl build, they could just boot into Clockwork and update using this zip file with no loss of data/apps/etc?

From the size of the download, I'd take it that this is the "updated" stock ROM.

You should wait for the developers to update their ROMs accordingly.

If their ROMs are de-odex'd, then you will have issues as this one is the stock odex'd version

Awesome work, Calkulin. I, however, can't use it as my ROM is deodexed but awesome work nonetheless.

Yeah size seems to be much larger than the one mentioned in the other thread, 21MB but this one seems like a full system at 150MB.

any way to make the radio a standalone flash? that's what I wanna see in action!! hear they may have increased 4G performance..

Here ya go folks.
This is apparently not the final build that will be going out next week (according to HTC's twitter)

You'll also need these radio updates:
UPDATE: If you grabbed radio 2.15.00.07.21 there is a newer version
Radio update: 2.15.00.07.28
Wimax Update 26023 (Courtesy of Ava)
Flash these radios one at a time in recovery, you will have to reboot once for each one.
IF YOUR 4G DOES NOT WORK AFTER FLASHING, RE-FLASH THE WIMAX UPDATE (Thanks to efuse for testing)
4g has been confirmed as working with this rom, if for some reason you're having trouble getting connected (ie; an authentication loop), try reflashing the wimax update.
FAQ:
Q: Is the fps capped?
A: Yes the fps is capped with the default kernel
Q: Is this the final version of the update? ( 3.26.651.3 )
A: Apparently it's been confirmed by HTC on their twitter that this is not the final build that will be going out next week, so if you wanna be an early adopter, knock yourself out ;D
Q: Why can't I see all my apps in the market?
A: Because the fingerprint for this build has probably not been given to Google for the market, your mileage may vary

if you are just flashing ROMS then the radio doesn't get touched... so no, you only need to do it once.

the person who uploaded the rooted version of 2.3.4 might of not included the new radio, if you download the normal 2.3.4 it'll include the new radio.
its obvious that when he updated to 2.3.4, it wasnt the STOCK STOCK version so it didnt include the new radio, therefore he has to manually update his radio

Ok I wasn't sure. I actually flashed stock 2.3.3 through cwm and then 2.3.4 followed by su.zip to remained rooted

That person must of flashed 2.3.4 while being kn a radio other than KB1. I would imagine.
My radio updated automatically from KB1 to KD1 as the majority of us.
That's really weird on it not updating as well.

^ people tend to make things more difficult for them. its not really that difficult.
now if you were asking for a 2.3.4 DEOXED version, it would be a guarantee that superuser.apk would be included

Once you are on stock 2.3.4 all you have to do is flash and then boot into ClockWork Recovery, mount /system and flash the superuser zip file and thats it, your rooted.

ATT update...

I have the rooted stock which comes with the bubby's GUI... a few weeks ago my phone tells me that there is an upgrade for my software and naively I download it and try to install it.. well it didn't work out of course. Now my question is: is there a stock rooted Rom up to date?

One of the things you lose when flashing a new ROM is the updates, but if you chose a good one that has great DEV support the updates are usually available pretty soon....you have to wait for the updates to be baked into the ROMs so just keep checking here for the updates

I used att1n's stock rooted with side loading (flashed to rcmix 3d). He has the update installed and bloat ware removed and side loading enabled. Its a good stock rom if thats what your looking for. No bugs or issues that i could find. If your going to flash anyway check the dev section and look at some of the other roms. Plenty of sense roms if your staying stock to keep sense.

I flashed this ROM with *nothing* else loaded on my phone, and it booted up and is running just fine so far.
My usual routine:
- format system
- wipe data / factory reset
- install ROM
If you flash this over another ROM without wiping, you may encounter errors.
Examples:
- Opening the settings in the messaging app = force close. Fix this by wiping the data for the messaging app.
- Wallpaper picker not showing previews.

No custom kernel yet... at least not until HTC releases source code.
For this, I had to modify a file within the kernel so that we can have root.

dude, it a stock rom. stock kernel. he just said that he didn't modify it.
...waiting to hear about a couple of other successful rom flashes before i put this on my wife's shift...
