I just tried flashing the live wallpapers ripped from the samsung galaxy s, they worked great on every 2.1 rom i used, they are not working on 2.2 though. is it possible to patch them to work on 2.2 or do we have to wait for the galaxy s to have a 2.2 update then rip the wallpapers again?
they are in the market for free , find them and download them from there... working great for me

you can use a launcher, they are better dan touchwiz 4.0.
Like go launcher or launcher pro.
Atm touchwiz is not for Galaxy Gio, Ace ect.
I hope that samsung Update this because the music player is much better

Im fairly new to android, got my first android phone (galaxy s) in march. It came with android 2.2.
I recently used a galaxy s 2, with android 2.3.3 with touchwiz 4.0. I've seen people on youtube with galaxy s's with touchwiz 4.0 with/or android 2.3.3.
I know little about rooting, custom roms etc..
I was wondering how to get android 2.3.3 with/or touchwiz 4.0 on my galaxy s.
If anyone knows how can you give me step by step instructions,

Hi everyone, I don't think another post covers this so I hope it's ok. Anyway I have a Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 UK version. I have recently installed 2.3 ROM and now it runs like butter. The only niggle I have is that it runs Touchwiz 3 launcher not 4. And When I try to install the apk it says application not installed. Any Ideas?
