I just realized that the app Music Junk is no longer working. I searched the market and it's not in any search results. Is it removed from the market for you too?
I also could not find it. Legal issues or something probably. I use an app called Musiczilla, although I cannot locate in the market anymore either... It's logical that those apps would get legal issues though. I found an app called Music Stuff. check it out.
That's what I thought probably happened :\ I'll miss that app.
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
I'm having a problem with the new market app. It sends me notifications for some dating app.
If I go into settings and untick google admob ads it doesn't make any difference.
Any thoughts how I can stop these?
Thanks

Are you sure its the market? How do you know its the market? I noticed ads in the notification bar from a mp3 downloader, but not from the market itself.
No, not certain, but if I click on the notification it opens the market at an app for the dating people. So just a guess
Sounds like you have some kind of rougue app on your phone...Market isn't the problem...you installed another app that has this extra crap in there that tries to get you to install the dating app.
Check the apps youve installed recently and remove them until you find the one causing it

I've been using the apk that was posted here since yesterday with no issues.
Im having a problem with ICS Market. Or 3.2.0. It wont let me purchase any apps. Tried clearing data. Uninstall/reinstall. I can download free apps but get an unmarked error(no info just error) when trying to purchase anything.
Sent from where ever I was when I posted this
(fingers crossed) I think I may have solved it by deleting the Air Hockey app I had downloaded from the market. I think it may have had a little 'extra' item included.
Once I know it's stopped for sure I'll name and shame the app on here... otherwise I'm still looking!
There are a few apps out there that do that, one of them is or was the free
version of a '3' network usage checker. Kept getting push adverts until I
uninstalled the thing.
OK, no more notification pop up adverts, so I'm saying avoid - Glow Hockey 2 -
Thanks for the help guys,
Stewart
Hiho everybody
Need some help figuring this one out
Installed the redbox app from the market and now every time I try to go to www.redbox.com
On the browser. Any browser . the xoom goes to the playstore and loads the redbox app page.
Gotta be some kind of link thats been made somewhere.i even froze the app to no avail
Anybody seen this before?
Shameless plug but I think it would come in handy for quite a few people.
This tool allows you to download any (free) APK from the Android Market by simply entering it's package name. There's no requirement to install anything, enter your Google username/password or enter your device Id.

I can see how it can come across as spam as I have 0 post history but it isn't - it actually works. Give it ago, nothing to lose.
This is the best tool of its kind and it really works. Thanks OP for this wonderful thing. Even there is a binary for windows on the website.
This looks rather interesting.
However, as you point out in your own website "you shouldn’t trust random binaries on the Internet and thus the C# source code is available if you wish to build it your self", it would be great to know how this works.
The C# app is just a wrapper for your web app. It doesn't show how it's done, so it doesn't allay any fears other than running the windows app. You still don't know anything about the apk that's downloaded.
Great idea though.
Exactly.
However I've downloaded a few small files and they match with the ones I already had.
I won't share how it's done but the APK is directly downloaded from the Play Store as if you were browsing it your self. Feel free to do MD5/SHA1 checksum comparisons of the apk from the play store and of the apk downloaded via this tool.
So can this extension download paid apps for free or what? I don't know cos I'm not on my pc and can't view the link on my phone

If it could then the thread would have been deleted and the OP would be receiving a stern message about distributing warez on a developers' forum. So, no - it doesn't download paid apps for free, as it says in the 1st post.
I guess it was good while it lasted.
As for the last day, no longer working.

Now fixed
True that. Working again...
If you are after a wider audience, you could post this tool here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2392504 .
This looks pretty nifty! I was trying to download the new Kairosoft game with it, but I guess because it has IAP or something, your downloader won't work. It's a free app.

I tried several times but don't work, I think it's the site that didn't enable the function, do you have an idea to force this ? (I searched for an app but didn't find)
I've been looking this up for a while and can't find anything for sure other than making sure stay logged in for purchases is checked in the app. Do other PayPal links from your browser open with the app?

I've the same problem.
I search something with google app and there's a result from amazon.it, when I tap on it, it opens the browser instead of amazon app.
I checked the amazon app in android settings-app-app links and the supported sites are just amazon.de/.co.jp/.co.uk/.com
There isn't amazon.it and that's why it won't open the app.
Surely there's a file somewhere that contains these links. But WHERE???
Please help!
Thanks
